Speak to the Innkeeper on duty to rent a room upstairs, so you can rest during your travels. There's even a hatchery/nursery in the back, for all your childcare needs!

He found his way to the Zephyr Steppes on his own, a black slate. While constructing a shelter in the steppes, he was approached by a particularly peculiar dragon: Mirashard. After a brief engagement resulting in four children (who all went off on their own in time), the two found that they were better suited as close friends and broke up. Baird does not plan to have any other children, but for all his grumbling, won't swear off the idea entirely. For now, he's content taking care of the Inn and helping out in the nursery once in awhile. Baird is what you might call a grumpy old man, but he has one of the kindest hearts in the land. Who knows what he's been through in his life? Not even himself; but for all the scars, for all the fuzzy memories of battles won and lost... his hardened, rugged exterior hides a warm, marshmallowy center. His favorite things are tea, lowkey cuddles, and the feeling one gets when spending a late night talking with strangers. From the moment they met, there was no getting rid of her. She decided she was part of his clan, and that was that. Contrary to his initial impression, she soon grew on him, and he found himself falling in love. They built the Dragon Fly Inn together, growing closer each step of the way. When they opened its doors, they already had a clutch nesting in their nursery, and were happily engaged. While the engagement was short lived, it was a bright point in Baird's limited memory, and he loves her still. They remain close friends, and she still lives and works at Dragon Fly Inn.[/color][/size][/columns]
