A vibrant maze of stone paths weaves through colourful buildings. Tall, homely wooden cottages with smoking chimneys stand next to vibrant, rectangular sand-brick shophouses and apartments. Pennants drape themselves across roof and wooden pole, forming a welcoming tapestry above the roads. Circular streetlamps light up, gleaming like miniature suns. Wooden poles stand tall, holding loosely hung wires. Soaring past these homely buildings, you weave through buildings that get increasingly taller until you get to the ones that are close to scraping the sky. In the city centre, a sandy clearing dotted by sparse trees and an oasis in the very middle framed by reeds. Dragons, large and small, have gathered around it. They've laid out mats of varying colours and interesting patterns and curled up on these. Some seem to be pouring over their stack of paper and books, while others seem to be chatting up a storm or are simply soaking up the desert sun. It's intriguing that they seem to be enjoying themselves in such conditions. Going somewhere?
blah

You ascend the short steps, weaving past dragons sitting on them. The white, tiled floor glints in the sunlight, and colourful carpets depicting scenes from Sorneith history cover some of it. Small light green orbs float around the room, picking up books that have strayed from the vortex and placing them back on their shelves. The white marble shelves on the floor are neatly arranged in rows. What could be a second floor is opened up for flying, with bookshelves in the walls. Silence.

“Oh, uh... were you looking for something else?” The Fae nervously plays with her talons, bashfully averting her gaze downwards.
