[color=indigo][b]It's that time of the year again.[/b] The Wood, normally known for its impenetrable darkness and the chittering sounds coming from within its deepest confines, comes alive with the sound of parchments and the beating of wings. 'I can't wait!' a distant, excited voice whispers in the murk. 'It's almost here!' another responds. More voices join in and soon it's impossible to distinguish their words. Something's coming.
And then, it happens. The thick, dark mist veiling the Wood from the eyes of the rest of Sornieth thins away - almost completely. Suddenly, trees become more than indistinguishabe silhouettes in the twilight; mushrooms become more than distant beacons in the shade; and the snickering dragons that give life to the Shadowbinder's territory can be occasionally seen as they clamber and crawl, slink and slide, and go about with the motions of something big. 'Trickmurk', they call it. The word is not a new one for the realm, yet it sounds like the most important event to these dragons.
Suddenly, a shadow comes loose from a tree's dark bark, and shifts to become a messenger dragon: the cloak conceals its face, but the scrolls of parchment sticking out of a purse firmly clasped at its flank are unmistakeable. Other shadows join the first, and soon they all take off - each in a different direction - presumably to carry out their assignments.
A single dragon stays behind and takes notice of you. You can see a devious grin form on the shade-veiled face beneath the cloak. "Are you not from around here, stranger?" it says, and the voice speaks in a much less threatening tone than its gown and visage. It doesn't wait for an answer however, before approaching. In one swift movement it both reaches for and hands you one of the scrolls from within its purse. Just as soon as you accept the parchment, and while you're still examining the purple seal that keeps it closed, it takes off to join its comrades.[/color]

Hi fellow Pebbles!
The Caravan that I travel with has been tasked to lead your exaltees to the Mother of Drool herself! Since we were headed over here anyways (as my caravan travels to the Tangled Woods quite frequently), our friends in the Wispwillow Grove asked us to help out! Although the Earth dragons are proving to be quiiiiitte the handful. They keep digging at the glowshrooms thinking that they’re gemstones! They’re just glowing mushrooms though (Trust me, I found that out the hard way myself). The [s]adults[/s] others are so busy trying to keep everyone in line, that I decided to write the letter back home. It’s kind of funny watching everyone trip and fall on the brambles though. Reminds me of my first visit to the Tangled Woods. [s]I still trip on those stupid brambles, curse my tiny legs.[/s]
Anyways! Things have been going pretty smoothly so far! None of the tricksters seem to have bothered us this trip. Which is good, because it makes traveling in the woods really hard. Though it’s almost suspicious how calm things have been. I mean, it’s the Trickmurk Circus after all! Trickster Shadow dragons are bound to be rampant this time of year. We’re probably going to run into trouble sooner or later. Especially when my fellow Earth dragons keep trying to look for gemstones. I hope they know that there aren’t nearly as many gems here as there are back home…
Uh oh. I think I just heard someone screaming. I’m going to go with Stella to check it out. I hope those silly pebbles haven’t gotten themselves into trouble looking for shinies. There’s a lot of glowing things here, yes, but there’s also a lot of danger! This is seriously no place to go excavating in. I’ll keep you guys updated, but I have to take care of this for now.

Hi fellow Pebbles!
The Caravan that I travel with has been tasked to lead your exaltees to the Mother of Drool herself! Since we were headed over here anyways (as my caravan travels to the Tangled Woods quite frequently), our friends in the Wispwillow Grove asked us to help out! Although the Earth dragons are proving to be quiiiiitte the handful. They keep digging at the glowshrooms thinking that they’re gemstones! They’re just glowing mushrooms though (Trust me, I found that out the hard way myself). The adults others are so busy trying to keep everyone in line, that I decided to write the letter back home. It’s kind of funny watching everyone trip and fall on the brambles though. Reminds me of my first visit to the Tangled Woods. I still trip on those stupid brambles, curse my tiny legs.
Anyways! Things have been going pretty smoothly so far! None of the tricksters seem to have bothered us this trip. Which is good, because it makes traveling in the woods really hard. Though it’s almost suspicious how calm things have been. I mean, it’s the Trickmurk Circus after all! Trickster Shadow dragons are bound to be rampant this time of year. We’re probably going to run into trouble sooner or later. Especially when my fellow Earth dragons keep trying to look for gemstones. I hope they know that there aren’t nearly as many gems here as there are back home…
Uh oh. I think I just heard someone screaming. I’m going to go with Stella to check it out. I hope those silly pebbles haven’t gotten themselves into trouble looking for shinies. There’s a lot of glowing things here, yes, but there’s also a lot of danger! This is seriously no place to go excavating in. I’ll keep you guys updated, but I have to take care of this for now.
