TOPIC | Kalma Clan - Fae of Light Arc Synopsis
This is the synopsis for the Fae of Light Arc (so far), for those who don't want to read the full story. The full story can be found here.

1. The Tropical Fae – A lonely Fae dragon named Corela wandered around Sornieth, rejected everywhere she went. Some Faes mocked her, claiming that her parents had abandoned her because of her hideous colors, but Corela refused to believe it. She then encountered a pair of Mirrors, who also mocked her, one of whom even attacking her. Corela fled to the Nature realm, where she flew through the trees until she became exhausted. Suddenly, she found herself surrounded by Centaurs. They attacked her as well, one of their arrows piercing her wing, making flight impossible. Corela managed to hide and lose the Centaurs. When they were gone, Corela made her way to a pond, where she looked at her reflection. She began to weep, fearing that no one would ever accept her. Her weeping caught the attention of Usha and Grim, the founders of the Filia Clan. Corela was instantly struck by Usha's beauty, which made her feel even more hopeless. Usha took notice of Corela's wing injury and healed her with her magic, once again stunning Corela. Usha believed that Corela's colors gave her a tropical look, and offered to bring out Corela's true beauty. Usha even thought of the perfect mate for Corela. Usha and Grim brought Corela back to the lair, introducing her to the rest of the clan. Usha decided that Donovan would be the perfect mate for Corela. Usha then helped Corela pick out some apparel, including a red rose lei and a red rose flower crown. Corela admitted that she felt more beautiful already.

2. New Beasts in the Forgotten Cave – Because the Beastclans remained at large, Qubine stressed the importance of training. Decilla, Redda, and Rafadel continued their training in the Forgotten Cave, where they encountered Serthis that had never been seen before. The Serthis proved to be quite fast, startling the Faes. Decilla managed to take out her opponent, and then attacked another who was cornering Rafadel. After defeating the Serthis, the Plague dragons pressed on, encountering Ancient Fungus and a Dwarf Truffle. Decilla was struck with an Ice Bolt spell, prompting her to sound the retreat. They made their report to the lair; the description of the Dwarf Truffle's Ice Bolt stunned the clan, as the Dwarf Truffle was previously a water-based creature. The Plague dragons also reported the encounter with the new Serthis. Qubine was unsure whether to believe Decilla's claims, but Amadeus pointed out that Redda and Rafadel backed up the claims. They both agreed that the danger could not be ignored. Qubine decided to visit the Forgotten Cave himself to test the strength of these new Beastclans. But first he paid a visit to Shayla, who helped him outfit his tail with gold filigree tail cuffs. Shayla suggested that the dragons could give him a challenge. Qubine made a plan to evaluate the dragons' strength later. Once he was properly outfitted, he visited the Forgotten Cave, quickly encountering the new beasts. Qubine took out a Blueband Duelist, and then faced two more sword-wielding Serthis. After taking some minor injuries, he defeated his foes and left the cave.

3. Sparring Match – Qubine called for a clan assembly, announcing that Coco was like a son to him, and he had overcome challenges that many other dragons had failed. To show the clan how strong Coco has become, Qubine challenged him to a sparring match. The pair began their battle, neither one holding back. Qubine knocked Coco into the water, making Azalea worry. Both Mirror dragons emerged from the water, and Qubine decided to kick it up a notch by using his elemental abilities. Coco followed suit. As they continued their battle, they knocked over several trees. It was only when the Gladekeeper pleaded them to stop when they realized the damage they were doing. Satisfied with Coco's performance, Qubine gave him a pat on the shoulder.

4. The Serthis Strike – As the dragons retired to their dens for the night, a clan of Serthis slithered into the lair, spreading out to begin their attack. Qubine was still awake, as he had a bad feeling that something would happen. Still, he assured Shayla that he'd stay awake. Amadeus had not yet fallen asleep either, and headed towards the lake for a drink of water. On the way back, he smelled the Serthis' presence. A Blueband Duelist appeared in front of him, but before Amadeus could act, he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder and immediately fell unconscious. His scream alerted Qubine and Shayla, the former leaving the den to investigate. Rafadel also investigated the scream and bumped into the Serthis, who pointed to where Amadeus had fallen. She let out a scream of her own, which alerted Coco and Azalea. Coco believed it was a prank, but Azalea decided to investigate. Coco refused to let her investigate alone. A Blueband Duelist attacked Qubine as he was investigating. Soon, he heard a scream from Shayla. Qubine knocked back the Serthis and rushed back to the den, where a Venomblade Assassin was advancing on Shayla. Qubine slashed at the Serthis, who then threw dirt into his face and retreated. Qubine warned Shayla that the lair was under attack, and ordered her to alert the clan. Shayla ran to tell Coco and Azalea, who were already gone. She then ran into Reiko, Kitty, and Brenna's den to warn them. Two Blueband Duelists in the trees shot blades at Reiko and Kitty, who charged into the trees after them, fleeing in different directions. Since Brenna didn't know which way to go, Shayla suggested that she help her alert the clan. Another Venomblade Assassin slithered through the lair looking for more dragons, only to get caught in a net, causing it to drop its blades. The net had been set by Percival and Brahm, who picked up the blades, commenting on their craftsmanship. They smirk, remarking that the captured Serthis would make a wonderful specimen. Another Blueband Duelist attacked the Nocturne girls' lair, slashing Renelle with a water-based attack. Enraged, Nadya and Lexine began firing lightning bolts at it. The bolts scared off the rest of the Serthis as well. The clan reunited, confirming that the Serthis had indeed retreated. They realized that Amadeus was still missing, and Rafadel led them to where she had found him. Qubine checked Amadeus, who was alive, and then found the dagger in his shoulder. Percival and Brahm smelled the poison on the blade. Orphne offered to start making an antidote, but needed the other dragons to keep Amadeus alive.

5. The Serthis Strike Pt. 2 – Orphne worked feverishly, trying to create an antidote for Amadeus. Percival and Brahm dragged the captured Venomblade Assassin over to Baldwin's brew and nonchalantly dumped the beast into it, much to Baldwin's horror. Percival and Brahm taunted the Serthis as it was slowly dissolved in the brew. They explained that the Serthis had attacked the lair and poisoned Amadeus, and wanted to use the transmutational compound for the antidote. Meanwhile, Gaheris and Krashos informed Shayla that they were going to train in the Forgotten Cave. They went to fetch Griffin, who was talking with Xylina and Rafadel. Rafadel warned them that the Serthis who attacked the lair made their home in the Forgotten Cave. Percival and Brahm returned to Orphne with the gold muck that had resulted from brewing the Serthis. Shayla went to visit Orphne, worried because Gaheris, Krashos, and Griffin had not yet returned from their training. Orphne stated that she had finished with the antidote and injected it into Amadeus's shoulder. She then feared that she wouldn't get to sleep, but Shayla offered to watch Amadeus, unable to sleep. Orphne then went to sleep next to Amadeus. The next morning, Amadeus woke up in a panic, but Orphne calmed him down and explained what happened. Since Gaheris, Krashos, and Griffin still had not returned, Qubine went to the Forgotten Cave to look for them. He soon found Griffin's dead body within the cave and immediately feared for his sons. Deeper in the cave, he soon found Gaheris and Krashos, who had been slashed to death by the Serthis. One Serthis creeped up behind Qubine, who killed it in a fit of rage. He then returned to the lair, relieved that Amadeus had been successfully treated, but still saddened that he had to report the deaths of his sons and Griffin. Qubine chose Sabori, Malus, and Coco to help bring them back to the lair for their burial, and then dismissed the assembly.

6. Trickmurk Circus – Decilla, Redda, and Rafadel returned from the Forgotten Cave to report their success. They were glad to be done with the Serthis there. Qubine seemed irritated that Decilla had survived, making her believe that he wouldn't even care if she died. Amadeus assured her that Qubine was just in a foul mood after losing his sons. Just outside the lair, a carriage pulled up, and a Coatl jumped out, announcing that he's brought a circus. A Mirror ran around, leaving mushrooms in his wake. A Fae flew overhead, leaving trails of shadows from its wings. Another Fae targeted the younger dragons with songs and dances. A Pearlcatcher then placed a package in front of Qubine. Usha and Grim approached, reminiscing of when they and Qubine used to dress up for the elemental holidays, but Qubine lamented that things had changed. They opened the package to find food, some haunted stone orbs, and a battle stone. Just then, a Nocturne dragon named Cane stopped by, wishing to join the Kalma Clan. Cane vowed to be the knight in shining armor, but spotted Lazarus, believing that he was far superior. Qubine explained about the Passage, pointing out that Lazarus was already halfway through it. He then showed Cane the Burial Grounds, where the fallen dragons were buried. Cane asked how many had completed the Passage, and Qubine told him only six...nine if he counts Qubine, Usha and Grim. The other six were Coco, Kincaid, Sabori, Malus, Amadeus, and Azalea. Qubine then allowed Cane to get settled.

7. Fae of Light – Cane was the most eager to begin his Passage. He outfitted himself with Alabaster Filigree armor, and then came across Sabori, who wore Ebony Filigree armor. Cane was instantly attracted to her. Sabori told the story of how she had only completed the second half of the Passage after Kladeos's death. She then suggested for Cane to see Amadeus about finding some partners. Meanwhile, Reiko, Kitty, and Brenna come across a Light Fae named Liora locked in a cage in the Waterway. As the siblings went to free her, the Maren who had captured her returned, and a battle ensued. Once the Maren were defeated, the siblings allowed Liora to follow them back to the lair since she had no clan of her own. After she was introduced to Qubine, Liora revealed her quest to find the legendary Fae of Light. The clan revealed the Passage to Liora, and she agreed to take it, not wanting to be captured again. Qubine then offered to introduce her to the rest of the clan.

8. The Red Filters Through – An ice-colored Mirror named Snowy visited the lair, wishing to join the clan. Qubine's reputation had preceded him, and Snowy wanted to train under him. Malus and Amadeus explained how they became stronger, and how Qubine had little, if anything to do with it. Qubine called for an assembly to introduce the three new dragons, Cane, Liora, and Snowy. Amadeus decided that the three would become the newest Passage team. When the clan was dismissed, the new dragons noticed that Handel was staring at Liora. Liora approached Handel, who admitted that he found her beautiful. Meanwhile, Decilla, Redda, and Rafadel continued their training in the Bamboo Falls, where they defeated a Hainu. They were confronted by two Ethereal Tricksters and two Trick-of-the-Light beasts. Decilla took out one monster, while a Trickster fired an Ice Bolt at Rafadel, who repelled it with her Reflect spell. However, Redda was struck by a Bright Bolt that killed her instantly. Decilla vowed vengeance, but she was stuck by an Ice Bolt. Rafadel realized that the challenge was too great, but Decilla stubbornly wished to keep fighting. Realizing that Decilla was beyond reasoning, Rafadel fled from the venue. Decilla begrudgingly picked up Redda's body and followed. When they got back to the lair, a fierce argument ensued, drawing attention from the clan, until Qubine silenced them, demanding an explanation. He then brought Redda's body to the Burial Grounds, sharing what he knew of her to the clan. Very little was known about Redda, aside from her fondness of the color red. As Qubine completed the burial, he warned the rest of the clan to know their element, and that the tide of battle can turn in an instant. The clan left the Burial Grounds, leaving Cane, Snowy, and Liora to ponder about the challenges that lay ahead of them.

9. Good Advice – Kitty found Snowy looking at the graves in the Burial Grounds. Snowy was wondering what the dead dragons were like. Snowy admitted that he didn't like his name, although Kitty believed that his name made sense, unlike hers. She couldn't even ask her parents why they gave her the name because they both died in the Passage. Kitty admitted that even if she and her siblings don't reach the end of the Passage, they could be proud of how far they've come. She then gives Snowy some pointers, including knowing one's element and to take out the enemies that pose the biggest threat. They both wished each other well in the Passage before parting ways. Meanwhile, Handel and Liora had four hatchlings. Usha once again gushed about the importance of having mates, but she got more excited about the hatchlings than anything. She even lamented the fact that she had Grim haven't had hatchlings since before the plague. Rafadel approached Qubine for advice on the Passage, as she and Decilla were having a hard time on their own. Qubine suggested training in the Forgotten Cave until they grow a little stronger before returning to the Bamboo Falls. Decilla and Rafadel's progress might slow, but staying alive was more important.

10. The Passage – Qubine decides to call the journey the Passage. Usha then introduced two new dragons – a Tundra named Dudley, and a Skydancer named Pelindar. She had fetched them to mate with Xylina and Rafadel, respectively. Xylina felt awkward at first, but Usha believed that they'd warm up to each other in time. However, Pelindar completely disapproved of Rafadel because she was both a Plague dragon and a Fae. Usha tried to defend Rafadel by pointing out that she's lovely and has been training as a warrior, but it turned out that Pelindar frowned upon warriors as well, calling them savages. Pelindar continued to insult the clan, and especially Rafadel. As she fled in tears and Qubine dismissed the clan, Usha admitted that this was the most disappointing match she'd ever made.

11. Serious Discussion – Cane, Snowy, and Liora discussed Usha's penchant for matchmaking. Cane and Snowy admitted that they would rather choose their own mates. Cane revealed that he admired Sabori for her toughness and beauty, while Snowy admitted that he liked Kitty, if only because she shared the predicament of receiving an odd name. They mentioned the Beastclans, and Liora once again wondered why they wanted her alive. Cane suspected that it had something to do with the Fae of Light. Cane and Snowy vowed to protect Liora. Meanwhile, Pelindar wondered why he was staying with the clan, since they disgusted him so. Shayla overheard his comments and tried to talk some sense into him. Pelindar noticed that Shayla is free of the warrior's taint and found himself attracted to her. Shayla pointed out that Qubine was her mate, and told Pelindar of how he had brought the clan from the brink of death during the plague. She then reprimanded Pelindar about his behavior towards Rafadel, which she found to be savage in its own way before leaving him to ponder her words.

12. Scientific Mishap – Percival and Brahm were still working on their brew, dripping the Serthis poisons into it. Unsatisfied with the results, they dropped the entire beakers of poison into the brew, causing a modest explosion. The clan ran to their den to find the brew splashed everywhere, with the Tundras covered in it. The liquid rolled off their bodies, permanently staining their wings and fur. At first the Tundras promised never to do that again, before noticing the changes on one another. After a moment, they became pleased with the results and began to laugh, the sound of which echoed throughout the lair.

13. Pelindar's Big Mistake – Lazarus, Handel, and Aether had completed their training in the Boreal Wood. After reporting to Qubine and the founders, they realized just how close they were to finishing the Passage. Lazarus believed that the fallen dragons had taught them something, as they learned from their bad experiences. They promptly went to rest. Meanwhile, Shayla decided to take a stroll, and Pelindar offered to tag along. He once again complimented Shayla's beauty, believing that she deserved better than Qubine. Shayla urged Pelindar to reconsider his ways, and get to know the clan as dragons rather than savages. Suddenly, the Serthis ambushed them, taking Shayla away. Unable to fight, Pelindar was unable to help her. The Serthis told Pelindar to have Qubine meet them at the Forgotten Cave if he ever wanted to see Shayla again. Pelindar returned to the lair to inform Qubine of the situation, noticing that Qubine remained calm in spite of his rage. Qubine scolded Pelindar, pointing out that he was too "good" to rescue Shayla. Qubine then ordered Pelindar to accompany him in Shayla's rescue.

14. Pelindar's Big Lesson – Pelindar was lost in thought as he waited for Qubine to drag him to the Forgotten Cave. He really was beginning to reconsider his views about warriors. Amadeus admitted that while fighting could be considered a savage act, it all depended on the reason for fighting. In this case, Qubine was going to fight in order to save the dragon he loved. Qubine and Pelindar went to the cave, stopping at the entrance. Qubine remembered finding his sons dead within the cave, which strengthened his vow to save Shayla. Pelindar began to see why Shayla loved Qubine, and admitted his own attraction to her, which irritated Qubine. He told Pelindar to stay away from Shayla after the mission, as he was unworthy of her. Pelindar couldn't help but agree. Meanwhile, the Serthis terrorized Shayla in her prison while waiting for Qubine's arrival. Qubine witnessed this and attacked, and the battle ensued. One of the Serthis dropped some keys, which Pelindar picked up and used to free Shayla from the cage. Seeing that Shayla had been freed, Qubine ordered both her and Pelindar to get out. They complied, fleeing from the cave as Qubine continued his battle. Pelindar and Shayla returned to the lair, and Qubine returned shortly after with quite a few injuries. Amadeus and Azalea quickly healed him, and the clan took him to his den. Pelindar paid Shayla a visit afterwards. Pelindar admitted that Qubine had earned his respect, and Shayla thanked him for saving her as well. Qubine woke up, noting that his plan had worked, and now Pelindar saw why the clan must fight. Pelindar then went to visit Rafadel, apologizing for how he had treated her. They still agreed that they wouldn't make a good mating pair. Pelindar left her alone, and Decilla visited her, wondering if Pelindar would eventually take the Passage.

15. Nocturne of Darkness – Lazarus, Handel, and Aether headed to the Ghostlight Ruins for their Passage. Cane suggested following them, wanting to get a preview of what to expect, but Snowy and Liora opposed the idea, knowing that the monsters would be too strong for them. Cane still convinced them to go along by vowing to go by himself, and the other two couldn't let him go alone. Meanwhile, within the Ghostlight Ruins, a Nocturne dragon watched Lazarus and his team fighting the monsters through his scrying crystal, and then spotted Cane, Snowy, and Liora entering. The Nocturne summoned some monsters, ordering them to bring Liora to him. Percival and Brahm visit Baldwin, who has been transformed into a completely unrecognizable breed of dragon. Baldwin revealed that his cauldron had splashed all over him after a lightning strike from the Stormcatcher. He then asked the twin Tundras to help him discover the science behind his transformation. Percival and Brahm gladly agreed. Cane, Snowy, and Liora encountered some monsters in the Ghostlight Ruins, which were much too strong for them. The monsters even blocked their escape by locking the entrance. The dragons ran deeper to search for another way out. Lazarus, Handel, and Aether heard the racket, but believed that it might have been caused by Reiko, Kitty, and Brenna. Cane and his partners reached a dead end. Cane and Snowy argued before Liora pointed out a hatch door on the ground. The three went down the hatch, running down another corridor into a room with a crystal ball. The obsidian Nocturne appeared by the crystal ball, introducing himself as Erebus. He revealed that the crystal ball could let him see the entire world, and that he's had his eye on Liora for some time. Erebus seemed to know something about Liora, that she had a spark that was unique. However, he would not reveal it, as Liora had to discover it for herself in order to reach her potential. Enraged, Cane and Snowy attacked, but Erebus knocked them out easily. Erebus then pinned Liora to the ground with his magic, approaching her to intimidate her. Lazarus and his team burst into the room, and he and Aether tried their luck at fighting Erebus. They were no more match for Erebus than Cane and Snowy were, but were able to endure his attacks better. Erebus then vanished, vowing to check on the clan every so often. Liora then begged the dragons to get her out of the ruins. Upon returning to the lair, Lazarus instructed Amadeus to summon the clan.

16. New Resolve – Qubine held an assembly, where Lazarus, Handel, Aether, Cane, Snowy, and Liora shared their encounter with Erebus. Liora was shaken from the encounter, and Qubine told her to pull herself together. He concluded that the clan should still focus on the Passage and making themselves stronger. Liora returned her den, and Handel visited her, gifting her with a tabby cat. Elsewhere, Cane and Snowy argued with one another before Amadeus stopped them. They needed to concentrate on how to support Liora, and Amadeus pointed out that she would rely on Cane and Snowy more than anyone else. Cane and Snowy then went to visit Liora. They noticed the cat she was playing with, and struggled to come up with a name, settling with Tabby. Then they discussed what to do about Erebus. Liora decided to find the Fae of Light, and all three resolved to become stronger in the Passage.

17. Rise of the Darkness – Liora found Erebus in the Burial Grounds, unleashing his dark magic upon the graves. Erebus asked for Liora to join him, but she wanted to stop him. Unfortunately, Liora was too paralyzed with fear to do anything. Once Erebus was finished, he fled. Liora quickly flew to warn the clan, crashing into Qubine. They returned to the Burial Grounds, where Qubine examined Kladeos's grave. Kladeos's talons reached out, grabbing Qubine's head. When Qubine managed to free himself, Coco and Azalea came to check on him. Malus and Amadeus came as well. They watched in horror as the dead dragons rose from their graves. Qubine gave the order to observe them and warn the rest of the clan. Liora went to Cane and Snowy, and they spotted Redda coming at them. Deciding that Redda wasn't a threat, Cane simply tossed her out of their den. Then a horde of the deceased dragons came their way. When the sun had set, the dragons suddenly started to run. Cane and Snowy fled, while Liora went to warn Qubine and Shayla. Qubine fought off a zombie Mirror as Shayla fled the den. Usha and Grim came to see what was happening. Grim used his strength to knock the dead Mirror off its feet, while Liora was stunned at the fighting Fae. Qubine ordered Usha and Grim to evacuate the Filia Clan. Then he ran to help Shayla after hearing her screams. He ran into Malus and Amadeus again, and Qubine gave them the choice to fight or flee. He decided to have the clan reunite at the Windswept Plateau, and charged Malus and Amadeus with spreading the message. Qubine then ran towards Shayla again, who was still trying to run from the dead dragons. He managed to trip one of the dragons, causing the others to trip over it. Kladeos got up, coughing out a black sludge. Qubine ordered Shayla to fly away, and she complied. Erebus fired a Dark Bolt at her. Qubine flew after her, shielding her from the spell as it hit him. He then fired a chunk of ice in Erebus's direction, and the Nocturne shielded himself with a barrier. Qubine and Shayla crashed into a river, while Erebus admired Qubine's strength. Meanwhile, Percival and Brahm spotted a strange object forming in their cauldron, and it turned out to be an egg. However, their excitement was cut short when a horde of dead dragons rushed in, destroying their cauldron. As the dragons chased the Tundras, Orphne rescued them with an Arcane Slash. A Mirror attacked, knocking the egg out of Percival's talons, but Brahm was able to retrieve it. The possessed Saphira coughed out more black sludge, which materialized into a Centaur with hatchets. Percival and Brahm cleverly wrapped a vine around its neck, snapping its head off. More monsters energed from the sludge, and Orphne and her sons decided to flee to prevent anything from happening to the egg. Cane and Snowy crashed into each other again, and Liora met up with them. More black sludge monsters appeared, forcing the three to fly away.

18. The Broken Clan – Shayla regained consciousness and woke up Qubine, who had been injured from Erebus's attack. Qubine informed her of the situation. Their goal was to make it to the Windswept Plateau, but they had crashed in Dragonhome. Qubine couldn't fly in his condition, so he told Shayla to fly on her own, but Shayla refused to leave him. She fetched a potion from Qubine's pack, and he drank it eagerly before falling asleep again. Malus and Amadeus landed after their flight from the lair. Amadeus recognized Erebus's power as the Shade. He realized that they needed to reunite the clan, but also realized that they had no idea if they were alive or where they had gone. The only thing they could do was head to the Windswept Plateau to inform Qubine of their failure. For now, they needed sleep. Cane, Snowy, and Liora landed by a waterfall. Liora sobbed, believing that the entire incident was her fault. Cane and Snowy promised to become stronger so they could defeat Erebus. They decided that they would continue their Passage once Liora recovered from her shock. Orphne, Percival, and Brahm landed in the Starfall Isles with the mysterious egg. The Tundras were disappointed that their brew was destroyed, but glad that they were able to save the egg. The egg soon hatched a Bogsneak hatchling. The Tundras realized that it felt like their very own child. They informed Orphne of Baldwin's transformation. They determined that the hatchling was female and decided to name it Boligra.

19. Checking the Damage – Usha and Grim attempted to calm down the Filia Clan after they landed in the Windswept Plateau. Usha assured them that they would return to their old lair to check for any signs of the Kalma Clan. The following morning, the founders returned to the lair, only to find it completely dead, with the black sludge covering everything. They decided that nothing was here, so they decided to leave. Grim noticed the sludge moving, and soon it began to engulf him. Grim escaped from the sludge and rejoined Usha. They started to flee, but the ran into the Gladekeeper on the ground, withering from the sludge. She informed them that the Shade had corrupted the lair, and that they should flee before the Shade reached them as well. The Gladekeeper told them to warn the other deities, and assured them that Qubine, Shayla, Malus, Amadeus, Cane, Snowy, and Liora were safe, but didn't know about the others. The founders then left the lair. Cane, Snowy, and Liora visited the Lightweaver. Liora shared her experiences from her Fae of Light search so far. The Lightweaver instructed them to visit the Sunbeam Ruins to learn the history of Sornieth. The dragons left after that.

20. Crash Course – Lazarus, Handel, and Aether landed in the Ashfall Waste after fleeing their lair. Aether suggested that Erebus was fixated on Liora because he was either attracted to her, or she was the biggest threat to his ambitions. Concerned for Liora's safety, Handel wanted to return to the lair, but Lazarus pointed out that they weren't going to find anyone there. They dwelled on their Passage so far, and on their fallen partners. Lazarus decided that since they were still alive, they should complete the Passage anyway, if only to lay their old issues to rest. Cane, Snowy, and Liora visited the Sunbeam Ruins, where Liora read the writing on the walls, depicting the deities' birth and their battles with the Shade. Liora wondered if Erebus could be reasoned with if they couldn't defeat him physically. However, they decided to continue the Passage first.
