Religion

Dragons in The Clan of Faint Sunlight primarily worship Lightweaver as they are dragons of the Light Flight. However, some dragons choose to secondarily worship their deity by birth, which is determined by the flight they were born in. Others may secondarily worship the deity they feel represents them the most. However, all sacrifices made go to Lightweaver. This is overseen by Spark.

Abilities and Powers

Dragons in the realm where The Clan of Faint Sunlight resides are blessed with abilities and powers. There are two types of powers, elemental and secondary abilities. These are eplained in the next sections.

Elemental

Almost every dragon is born with elemental powers, this is determined by the flight a dragon is born in. A light dragon would have light powers, a fire dragon would have fire powers. The only exception to this is 'studs', dragons who are born power-less. In most stud cases, they have more useful secondary abilities. Studs do not usually live long, as they have no 'Elemental Tolerance', an abilty all dragons with elemental powers have which protects them from being completely annihilated by an elemental attack. Without this ability a dragon will die instantly upon coming intact with an elemental attack. Some studs do have elemental tolerance, though, which comes in the form of a secondary ability. Despite this, these types of studs still don't live long as elemental magic is what keeps a dragon alive. The longest living stud ever recorded lived for 3 1/2 months.

Secondary

Some dragons are born with a rare secondary ability. Almost all secondary abilites are hereditary.

Star Telling
Some dragons are born with the ability to read the stars and foretell the future. After it's discovery, a Star Teller became a role in many clans. A Start Teller's purpose is to read the stars, foretell prophecies and decipher them, but also to bring the knowledge to the clan. Star Telling is an extremely rare ability, and if both parents have the ability it is only a 25% chance a hatchling will obtain the ability.

Current Dragons:
- AshenLava
- Luna
- Sanctaemagicae
- Maremagicae
- Gloria

Spirit-Speaking
Spirit-Speaking is a common secondary ability that comes in two different forms. "Bone-Speaking" and "Ghost-Speaking". Bone-Speakers have the ability to speak to ghosts through the form of bones, preferably skulls. The spirits in the form of bones often have worse memory than those of normal ghosts, making bone-speaking less desirable than ghost-speaking. Bone-speakers often have an obsession with collecting bones before the ability shows in them, making it much easier to spot in young hatchlings than other abilities. Ghost-Speakers on the other hand have the ability to speak directly to ghosts, as well as see them. Ghost-Speakers can see and speak to ghosts from the moment they hatch, but only at night.

Bone-Speakers:
- Ataraxia
- Hedera
- Amethystus
- Felix
- Felixcarnium

Ghost-Speakers:
- Sapphirus
- ShadowedOak

Healers:
Healers are dragons blessed with the ability to heal any dragon from almost any wound if they possess magical abilities. In other words, healers do not have the ability to heal studs.

Healers:
- Minty
- Cursus
- Silva

Elemental Tolerance
This is a rare ability that is not hereditary that exists amongst some studs.

Current Dragons:
- Breezy
