Let me start with the disclaimer that none of my lore is located in Sornieth; everything here takes place in a universe inspired by, but not quite the same as Sornieth, with its own separate set of gods. The clans I write about are assumed to be gajinkas, as most of my dragons are already inspired by characters from an ongoing novel project I am working on for my creative writing master's degree. This is just a sort of side-project alternate universe I work on to destress, for fun! * Please note that the stories I write can be graphic and WILL contain violence. I'm interested in what comes after. - Somewhere beyond the stars, a consciousness lost long ago begins to stir. Fate may have shattered her body, but it cannot shatter her soul. In the darkest reaches of the highest heights, a former Weyrleader paces restlessly out of his self-imposed seclusion. Long ago a prophesy was fulfilled, and as with all great prophecies, a life sacrificed. Since that day, Navarre has roamed in perilous exile. A former Weyrleader defected from the scarred wastelands has many enemies, and lingering in any one place is hazardous. But something has brought him halfway around the world, to the tomb of the gods, where it is claimed that he may find the answer to what he rationally knows to be nothing but whisper and hope. Abandoning his former wehr, accompanied only by those who have chosen a life in exile, he swears on his partner's name to slay the Last God, and so join her once and for all. Tasked with ensuring the fulfilment of a Prophecy protected by the order of the Archangelus Forum since the last Age of Gods, Irael can not accept failure. His career as a politician, his ambition, and his pride all ride on the this success, and he will stop at nothing to see it through. But the world is still dying, and his rash actions have left him a fugitive of the Forum. Travelling halfway around the world to enlist an alliance with the infamous Baroness of Karth, he is no longer bound by the morality of the Forum to see his goals through to the bitter end.
