I don't know if it's just me, but it almost seems like the fae's left elbow is behind it's right leg:

For a second, I thought the little bump connecting the elbow and the leg was the elbow dimple thing (like you know how the elbow has the little dimple-like thing?) but then it connects to the leg, so I think it's the thigh muscle?
I'm really not sure...it just looks a little awkward to me :)

dragonhorselover if i understand what you mean, the bump is just the way the flesh near the elbow bunches up when the forearm is folded against the upper arm. it gets that kind of uh, chicken drumstick shape? you can see it in humans too (probably seen best in thin people, though i can't find a picture right now).
the two outlines overlap almost perfectly in that point, so i agree it does look a bit unfortunate. that kind of thing is generally avoided in art because it messes with our brain's ability to imagine a flat drawing as a three dimensional shape with perspective and all that stuff, and that's what gives the feeling of awkwardness and wrongness. as far as i understand it.
either way, it would probably be too time-consuming to fix it (they would have to modify all the primary genes for the fae male base too), since it's not really a mistake. some other bases also have slightly awkward positioning in a few places, but i guess that's just how it is.
sorry for the mini-ramble ^^'

Not entirely sure that this goes here, but I just ran across this dragon in the forums and something seems a little...off xD

A marking form Tapir is bleeding under the tail. It pops up with most colors but I don't know if its all colors.

Nothing is wrong with that dragon's primary that I can see. Underbelly (and a couple of other genes) affect Imperial noses and the line under their eyes.

I'm looking at the body area, it's just a dark splotch without any real definition like Skink shows in any other color o:

Might wanna check your screen settings - the same pattern is there on its side that all dragons have, it's just that charcoal is one of the lower-contrast ones.
