Gravity works differently here, or sometimes not at all; sounds echo oddly and doors are not always the same size on both sides. Neither of the two are especially parental and their (mostly self-raised) children tend to wander away from home when they're old enough to explore the world. [/i] [b](Mystery Spell)[/b] [img]http://i.imgur.com/sOxuiTi.png[/img] [i]Originally from deep beneath the oceans of Sornieth, this pair refuses to discuss whatever drove them from their abyssal home. They have their own strange magic, patterned from ocean-floor geysers and years without sunlight; some of their hatchlings adapt it to the surface world, and some force the surface to adapt to [/i]them. [b](Deepwater Vent)[/b] [img]http://i.imgur.com/oJNYZ7X.png[/img] [i]These dragons tend to be nice, if awkward, but they're so identical it's hard to keep track of how many are around. Their eggs are unnaturally perfect crystal spheres, all the same size, and all of them seem to know exactly where the others are at all times. Weird. [/i][b](Thaumacrystal)[/b] [img]http://i.imgur.com/1HYgZMM.png[/img] [i]Whoever built the Syllabary's towers also enchanted these living crystal dragons to guard them; since their mysterious creator has long since vanished, their destiny is unclear. The oldest of the statues are fairly mechanical, but each subsequent generation seems to be getting more and more unpredictable, developing their own personalities and even leaving the Syllabary. You could almost say they're getting more [/i]alive. [b](Guardian Statue)[/b] [img]http://i.imgur.com/JYH0e6l.png[/img] [i]Nobody has any idea why these sweet-tempered, normal-seeming dragons have chosen to live on a remote floating island, but their group are the social butterflies of the Syllabary.
