Please let me know if you're Light or I may forget![/b] [size=4][b]Lore[/b][/size] Dusk and Dawn, the children’s progenitors, have always had curious abilities. They were extremely sensitive to changes in the weather. As they grew older, wiser, and stronger, they began to grow in power as well. This power allowed them to control small weather patterns, which was a mighty boon to the clan’s farmers. Dawn could beckon the clouds to release warm rain. Dusk had the ability to create large thunderstorms to drive away would-be intruders. Their children inherited these abilities as well. Curiously, it all depends on their colors. Energetic and playful, they dance in the clouds and use their magic to seed the clouds and create small, localized storms. Their magic varies between hatchling to hatchling, with some having the power to create rain, others wind, and others the power of snow and sleet. These powers do not inherently belong to a particular flight, as the babies themselves inherit pale yellow eyes from the Light magic present in the nests. They are valuable when they grow up, as they are very sensitive to changes in weather and are able to predict even the smallest snowfall or drizzle. The children of weather are fickle. Their personalities vary wildly from hatchling to hatchling, depending on their "weather colors". [b]Each hatchling will include a short blurb of lore describing their personality and weather ability![/b] [size=5][b]Be sure to make necessary bio changes after you receive the hatchling! For example, white and grey Coatls can resemble the cold snowstorms or violent thunderstorms; while yellows and pinks can symbolize the warm weather of spring and summer; while purples and blues can symbolize cool rain. A single hatchling can have colors of wildly contrasting weather patterns, creating a unique effect on their powers.[/size][/center] [center][size=4][b]Primary colors:[/b][/size] [b]White, Grey[/b] -White and Grey bodies of these unique Coatls symbolize cold. Coatls with these colors tend to be very calculating and intelligent. The attuned weather for a White or Grey Coatl is usually a storm. [b]Yellow, Pink[/b] -Yellow and Pink bodies of these unique Coatls symbolize warmth. Coatls with these colors tend to be very kind and welcoming. The attuned weather for a Yellow or Pink Coatl is usually a calm, warm weather pattern. [size=4][b]Secondary Colors:[/b][/size] The Secondary colors of the Coatls don't seem to have an effect on its weather pattern. However, their wings come in two different colors, with one lighter than the other. Coatls with lighter wing colors tend to be diurnal, while Coatls with darker wing colors tend to be nocturnal, although this correlation has not been proven conclusively yet. [size=4][b]Tertiary Colors:[/b][/size] [b]Black[/b] -Black bellies on these unique Coatls usually symbolize very violent wind or thunder. [b]Purple[/b] -Purple bellies on these unique Coatls usually symbolize cold rain, or ice. [b]Blue[/b] -Blue bellies on these unique Coatls usually symbolize rain or snow. [/center]
