DESIGNS AND LORE
Lore
Once upon a time there was an ancient sorcerer who lived alone in a small cottage.
In this cottage she created and brewed all kinds of new treats, but she was sad as she had no one to share them with. She outlived all her family and foolishly in her youth, had never attempted a social life. Everyone she tried to introduce herself to now would run away in fear.
Every night she would blow out her candle and stare up into the sky, she would close her eyes and wish, wish, wish with all her heart for another dragon to befriend her.
One night over an open fire, our sorcerer was brewing a rich coffee. As she went to blow out her candle a tear dripped from her glassy eye, was there really any point in trying to wish again? Would it really ever come true? As she sobbed the tears fell into the pot, making tinkling, happy sounds. The dragon looked up in shock, there, hovering above her was a bright light. "I can see you are very sad", spoke the light, "is there anything I can do to help you?"
"All I want now is a friend," cried the sorcerer "I just want to share with somebody."
"I see you have a good heart," said the light "I will grant you the power to make many friends in exchange for one thing, every new recipe you make you must share with us."
"I will do anything!" The dragon exclaimed.
The light produced a large bottle filled with golden liquid, she popped the cork out the top and added a tiny drop into the brew.
"Leave this to brew over hot coals and come back in the morning." The light then disappeared in a crack of light. The dragon, bewildered, sat with the brew for as long as her eyes could stay open.
She woke up as the sun rose over the hills. The bitter scent of coffee hung in the air, looking to the pot she almost shouted in surprise. Inside the pot, instead of the coffee, lay a large brown egg. As the sorcerer watched the egg cracked and a small nose poked out, then a brown wing and creamy fur. A small tundra fell out the egg and stared up at the sorcerer with deep brown eyes.
The sorcerer taught the dragon everything she knew, and just as she promised, the lights got every recipe she created. Soon the sorcerer's time on Sornieth passed and the tundra carried the knowledge she had passed on.
And that tundra is me.
Please, take a look at our dragons. My goal is to share the goodness my mentor taught me and to continue her legacy, her legacy she deserved.

Commonly born tundras, but can occasionally pearlcatchers. These dragons take pride in knowing they were the first coffee dragons ever created. I've been a bit slack on replying recently. I'd be happy to add you to the pinglist along and I would LOVE to be affiliates! Have you seen the official coffee designs thread? It's just up in the notices. :)
And yes, I do need to get round to remaking this thread. <3
