WwW's are an [u][b]unofficial[/b][/u] shadow subspecies, founded by myself & @Valtherion.

Wispwillow Waders are a curious breed of skydancers. Most generally described as smaller in stature, with lankier, thinner extremities than the average SD.
They dwell about the watery areas of the Wispwillow grove - which is their namesake, feeding exclusively on glowflys and any other insect that eats the local mycena.
By tending to the predators in the area, the local glowshrooms are quite prolific in an area where a Wispwillow Wader lives. It is thought that these dragon's diet has led to the startlingly bright blue patterns on their bodies.
Favoring the water, with their stilt-like long legs rarely do they leave the shallows of the murky rivers and ponds they call home.
Ethereal and beautiful though their stained glass wings are, these fragile looking dragons hide a ridge of deadly sharp thorns within their manes.

Female Waders are fascinated by bioluminesence; laying their eggs amist the glowshrooms and often picking mates with the brightest blue iridescent feathers.
Being quite fragile creatures; males won't actually spar or fight with eachother if it can be avoided. Preferring to display and flash their beautiful wings at a rival until one or the other concedes defeat.
