Who Keeps Your Flame? This is a dragon bio shop! I seem to be pretty good at words, so you tell me what you want and I write it.
If this is your first time here, please amble over to "Shop Rules" and "How Does This Work" for a basic rundown on ordering a bio. Of course, if there's anything you can't find or don't understand, please let me know! I'll be more than happy to help explain things.
When you buy lore here, you get a customized biography in a lyrical, story-like style and a specially coded format. I’m also available to do tune ups and alterations to stuff I’ve written in the past.

The Shop Rules!
1) I won’t write anything against the site rules.
That means nothing sexist, ableist, racist, or homophobic, nothing explicitly, graphically sexual or extremely violent in nature, nothing negative about religion or lack of religion, or anything which could be used to harass other users. If you have any questions about the above or other things I will/won’t write, feel free to either ping me here or send me a PM.
If I’m otherwise not comfortable I’ll let you know and we can try and work something else out.
2) Don’t bug me about dates. Seriously.
I’ll give you a timeline estimate once you place your commission. I’ll try and keep this to under a week in length, but it is subject to change depending on my RL stuff. If it does change after I’ve given you a deadline, I’ll let you know before the deadline comes up; if the deadline passes and you don’t have your lore or an updated deadline, I’ll cut the price in half and get it to you ASAP.
3) What you see us what you get.
If I’ve addressed what you asked me to in your commission, then I won’t go back and change things for free. If there’s something you’re unhappy with, contact me and I’ll be happy to change it for a small additional fee, which will vary depending on what you’d like me to alter. (If I missed something in the original commission then that’s my fault and I’ll fix it free of charge).
4) Once I’ve accepted your commission, any changes to the commission will invoke an additional fee.
The fee depends on the requested changes and how much I’ve already written.
5) Cancellations on your part will negate the need for further payment, but your deposit will be forfeit. (This holds for cancellations due to violations of the rules.)
6) Cancellations on my part will result in a full refund.

How Does This Work?

When I clear out the three commissions I’m currently working on, I’ll ping the top three people on the waitlist.

Short Answer - you own the story; I own the rest.
Long Answer - any of the writing you paid for is yours. You can change it (though I don't know why you'd want to ¯\_( ;) )_/¯ ), add to it, stick it on a different dragon. Just don't resell it, and please keep my little "this was written by me" tag line attached.
I will keep a copy of the bio in my personal files for record and backup purposes, but I won't reuse any of the writing.
If you decide to use my bio template on another dragon, please credit me.

She was alone but not lonely, with eyes like the mist over the waves, and she was foolishly wise in the way all the Shadowbinder's children are.
When she was young, Tarne went down to the tossed-salt water, cold and deep, and stood through the dawn and into the day, through the day and into the night, until the very stars themselves seemed to gutter out.
It was then the sea spoke to her, in the hissing curl of foam about her feet and the sucking of the riptide swinging out into the deeps.
It swore that she could have all the love she wanted, to be adored and famous, known and charismatic and silver-tongued, the most beautiful the most brilliant the brightest of them all -
If only she would yield her past to the sea.
Tarne turned away from the rocky beach and flew to her cave atop the cliffs.
The next day, Tarne again went down to the water and stood in the slapping waves, waited for the day to pass and night to rise, for the stars to vanish from the sky, and this time, the sea came more slowly.
Riches galore it promised, all the wealth hidden and lost throughout the centuries that sat in its belly, shining gold and ambergris and glinting glittering jewels -
If only she would yield her magic to the sea.
Again Tarne turned and left the water.
Now for the third time, Tarne again went to the water and stood in the salt against the pull of the tide and waited, and for the third time the sea came to her.
And this time the sea yawned its ice-toothed waves wider and promised her power, the chill of water in her veins and wind in her throat and the steady roll of mountains in her bones, power enough to make her mighty, power enough to make her a god, to give her [i]forever[/i] -
If only she would yield her heart to the sea.
And at last Tarne smiled, a terrible fanged smile, and let the sea fill her lungs and burrow in her bones and flood her veins and steal into her chest and slide out the core of her being. And the warmth at her center, caring and compassion, it was all gone in an instant - but she held the strength now to defy time itself.
So Tarne set out upon the ocean to plunder and steal, to content her emptiness with treasure -
to wait for her plot to blossom.
For the sea forgot that a Guardian's heart belongs second to themself and first to another, and one cannot yield what they do not have.

And it howled in rage and anger when her heart vanished.
Tarne had found her charge, and the sea had lost its prize.
It would have killed her if it could, but the sea had sworn to her forever, and Tarne had won. Still, the wrath of the sea beats a pounding rattle of whitecaps under her as she passes, waves whipped to fury -

The flat out, base price for my lore is 60kt. This is not negotiable, but it also isn’t subject to sudden increase!
The deposit is 33%, or 20kt.
Additional fees will be incurred if you decide to change your order after I've already started writing; depending on if minor details or major details need to be altered, I'll charge an additional fee that caps at 15kt; less charge for more minor things.

I'm interested in skins and accents, eggs, potentially hatchlings, gene and breed scrolls, certain familiars with a high resale value, and certain apparel; if you'd like to work out a trade I'm always open to talking about it. I will deny things I have no interest in, and the cash value of trade items will probably be calculated based on lowest Auction House prices. If that price is significantly more than the 60kt you're paying for lore, I can add it to your tab as credit (you would need to reenter the waitlist line but not have to pay when you achieved a slot) or we can work something else out.

I can send it to you again as a sort of system reset or I can take a look and tell you what I would try to potentially fix your problem (with the caveat that I am most certainly not a coding expert!).
