What are Nu-Kai?
Nu-Kai are carnivorous, nocturnal creatures that live mainly in marshlands and is basically a mix between a canine and a feline. Despite how cute they may look, they are a very dangerous species. They will eat just about anything that wanders into their territory especially going after those that end up lost and confused, using the light of the lure to fool what they are hunting. So the prime time to hurt for them would either be during mist/fog or at night. Even though they are man eaters, this still doesn't stop those from hunting them, either it be just for the thrill or for their fur with is incredibly soft. Since this is a dangerous task, the fur of a Nu-Kai is quite pricey.
Groups/Pups:
Live in small groups called Families which only have about three to six members at a time. Normally a female will give birth may have one to up to three pups at a time, per year until they reach the age of ten. The pups never usually stay in the same family they were born into, leaving as soon as they reach the age of two or four though most don't live by themselves if they leave when they are two or younger.
Features:
Quite tall, standing up to about five feet at the highest and can either be just a little bit smaller or bigger than that. Their manes are very fluffy that only goes to about it's chest, around the head/neck, and down the it's back to connect to it's tail. They also have long fur that covers it paws though under it hides hook like claws. The last feature would be it's 'face' which is completely flat and resembling a mask. These masks can vary in shapes and sizes, as well as having different patterns on them which can go as face as looking like other animals or even humans. However, the only actual part of it can move would be it's eyes, even if they have a mouth like pattern on it since their actual mouths are located just below the mask and hidden under the mane.
