Petal is a very soft spoken Fae with a great sense of humor, a strong sense of compassion, and a genus level IQ. She is one of only a few medical students that has not only accelerated in her training, but developed and mastered her own branch of techno healing methodology.

Though she possess a vast intellect it is difficult to recognize right off. Petal is quite humble and unlike most with her level of mental gift she does not see herself above any other. This stems from her belief that each living creature possess their own strength and intelligence and where as one might be stronger in one regard or another there will always be another out there that is stronger in something else. To assume otherwise is to belittle one's self.

Petal is family oriented and has been known to bend over backwards to ensure her loved ones have everything they need or want. She would do anything to see them safe and that includes lifting a hand in combat. An act she despises. Violence of any kind sickens and saddens her and because of that she is one of the few that has refused any real combat training. She doesn't know how to fight, but that doesn't keep her from using her inventions to harmlessly put an end to any act of hostility. She is so good at this that she is the first one the healers call when they have an aggressive patient.

Journal Excerpt 7.14.18

I only remember the Azurenight Clan, meaning anything that came before hand is a lost memory. I was so young that it doesn't surprise me that this was the case. Not that I really wish to recall those I was born too. It took me some time, but I have finally come to the understanding that I was not wanted by them. That is the only logical explanation I can come up with. Why else would a hatchling be handed over to perfect strangers?

The reason my birth parents relinquished me matters not, it proved quite in my benefit that they did. I do not think I would have been provided the opportunities I have had I been raised by any others. And I know for a fact I wouldn't have found Flux; my mate for which I am very thankful.
