A sub-group of the Calix Coalition. They were originally an experiment by Leanan on forced convergent evolution using the Painted Vulture subspecies as a template. Now that the project has run it's course, they are the outer-guards, keeping the clan safe from intruders. They are very insular and rarely interact with the rest of clan, instead staying on patrols or in their private bunker out in the desert. It was this separation that saved them from illness ravaging through main clan.
