It has been countless ages since the first dragons were domesticated, but comparatively, farming them is a new development. Few people truly know what happens behind the doors of the great dragon mills, and even fewer people care. Dragons are a the perfect livestock, producing several tons of meat even when fed on the most scant diets, and taste loads better than the average cut of horse or smidge of soylent green. The anguish of a few trillion dragons is a small price to pay to feed a constantly-growing population.
Our dragons are 100% dragon-fed for that double dragon goodness.
