Pangonaut's Clan

During your travels, the piping of a flute and distant cheering on the breeze piques your ears over the calming babble of Singer's Brook. You follow the sound of merriment between cliffside falls, and soon the savory smells of roasted treats reward your hungry nose.

Eventually you come across a grassy treehouse suspended over a stream between clustered stalks of giant bamboo. A jade-colored Fae, perched in the window on mulberry wings, meets your eye and excitedly waves an invitation for you to come inside.

You fold your weary wings to land and trot up a wooden ramp into a lively treasure-cluttered space that looks more like a colorful tavern than the elegant teahouse suggested by its exterior. Drinking and dancing before you are a bizarre guild of dragons of many breeds and tribes, some curiously shrunk or grown to fit inside the building. You look down and see that even you're slightly closer to the floor than usual...

The Fae introduces herself by the name Tippie and gestures to the colorful group upon noticing your stares. "We are the Atmonauts, Atmos for short, a clan of the curious and creative, the wise and, to some, the weird. We explore and study the reaches of Sornieth wherever the breeze takes us and return home with the spoils of adventure." She takes a heroic stance for effect (not very successfully with her monotone voice), then composes herself and turns back to you with a smile.

"Mossfeld says we needed a 'dramatic hook' to introduce the clan and grow our numbers, hah. You're always welcome to join our family, dear, but if you'd only like to rest your wings for the night as a friend, that's okay too. Come, come, have a seat and enjoy the mingle and music with some supper, you look famished. Moss makes a wonderful caterpillar rotisserie."
