Across the vast and plentiful lands of Sornieth, there are some dragons that live in flawless serenity. They live with few worries, other than what tomorrow's weather may be. Their scales are without a speck of dirt or scarring, their fur or feathers always pristinely kept.

Some dragons...are not so lucky.

Some dragons are raised within a society that hates creatures of flaws, though they themselves have far too many.

Some dragons try their best to help those closest to them, but can only find themselves causing pain and suffering.

Some dragons are destined for something that they cannot find in the place of their hatching. They require solace and sanctuary. A greater purpose, from a greater mind. Something ancient, and long buried.

The crimson deep calls out their names...
