He snorted in defiance as distant clouds from the invading Shadow Flight grew ever so slightly closer.
"Chai, enough pondering. There are gatherings to conduct if we are to feed an army." A strong faced female Imperial emerged from within the lair as she spoke.
"I have not lost track of time sweet Eliswyr. I am simply sizing up the enemy." He retorted.
"Oh how frightening you will be on an empty stomach my Lord. Come now. No time for banter."
The two retreated back into the lair. All was not as well as it seems, for a spy was lingering among the shadows... watching...and waiting.
