Just where what one would assume to be the end of the cave, a small crevice in the rust stained rock reveals itself to be the pitch of a steep descending gorge carved out by the running of water. Nearly no natural light at all graces the slick rock walls, even less so within the dark pools at the bottom. No dragon has dared dive deep enough to find out exactly how deep the water goes, feeling an ominous sense of bad energy that imitates asphyxiation with each passing meter of descent.
