A large, engraved spiral staircase leads to an upper ring-shaped 'shelf' that sits above the foyer. It houses those in healing and supportive roles, the nesting grounds, and a hospital and triage for the injured. A carved tunnel, lined with painstakingly-created murals, opens up to a north-facing ledge where hatchlings and dragons unable to fly are taught to do so, or are rehabilitated. the gardens are also kept on this same ledge, where the apothecary and gardener both work and reside.
