Though its entrance is disguised by scraggly bushes and piles of wood, this hollow by a river's bank is the jewel of the clan's territory. The grotto is an almost perfectly circular cave, lined with strange silvery lichen and decorated with intricate paintings. It is used to house the clan's most sacred treasures, and -- in emergencies -- its dragons.
Guarding the grotto is an essential duty, although the chance to examine the wonders within has proved to be a challenging distraction.
