These are dragons who have given up their residence in their familial dens to dedicate their lives to the protection of the clan. While they may have had children before falling into this role, they are not permitted to reproduce except one at a time, in very strict periods of time. This ensures there is always a team ready to dispatch at the first sign of trouble. They are often off on training missions and wear their armor almost constantly.
