Ever since the Ice v Wind battle in October, I've noticed the Recent History page on the AH loading abnormally slowly. I was attributing it to having unhinged amounts of transactions in there due to the battle, but the problem has persisted since then, long after those receipts are gone.

I've noticed the page taking a minimum of 3 seconds to load, sometimes upwards of 7-10, while every other page on FR (including the rest of the AH) loads instantly. First world problems, I know, but it makes using it to get to the relist button a little unpleasant. I do have 79 pages of history currently, but I've had more than than that before October without issues.

I tested the same pages under the same parameters. Results are from the Network tab of inspect element in Vivaldi. Everything except AH history is consistent with loading times across FR (except AH history) and other websites. AH history is the only one that has changed in the past few years, like I said only happening starting in October.

I have cleared my cache since then and even reinstalled the entire OS (Fedora 41) (tl;dr be really sure it's done updating before shutting down) with no change.

auction-house: 1.14s
buy/realm/food: 1.51s
buy/realm/dragons: 2.04s
activity/sold: 1.26s
activity/history: 13.92s (to fully load, it took just over 6s to load into anything more than a blank page)
game-database/item/18434: 1.62
for fun, the familiar section of item attachment which is big and laggy enough to crash my mobile browser: once time taken to get to that point is subtracted, approx. 12s. (unusually fast actually. then I clicked over to apparel and gave up on watching it count up around the 40s mark)

edit: doesn't really count as "the same pages" if I use my lair instead of yours huh. brain stopped working there.

You guys had fast ah histories in the past?? Mine's always been slow. Granted I always tend to have 200+ pages but I literally don't know it faster than 7 seconds. Currently it's around 10ish seconds with 370 pages. (Can't pull up exact times rn cause mobile)

I wish it would only load the past 24 hours as default...

I've gone down to 42 pages since posting with no change in loading times. Going below 30-40 pages for testing purposes sadly isn't realistic with my fodder and food activity, but I can't imagine it would make a difference at this point anyway if 42 is the same as several hundred.

my internet is a little slower today, but overall i'd still say most of these load times fall within what i normally see:

i have 5 pages of history. my /sold page was empty.

today, history was the slowest page to load.

i'm going to bloat my AH history and report back.

EDIT: currently at 14 pages. load times for first visit to /auction-house/activity/history are still within the norm for me, between 2 and 6 seconds.

Had the network tab open any time I visited the history today and I seem to be ranging between 5-15 seconds with ~369 pages. Average seems to be around 6 seconds with a few 14-15 second ones every hour or so. Any other page has been consistently at ~1 second.
