nope, Tarnished Doubloons wouldn't count as a special item! fest currency items (so this applies to Magical Shards as well) have a high drop rate from a very large percentage of encounters, so counting them would make the "special item" tasks a little [i]too[/i] easy [sub][emoji=aether tongue size=1][/sub]

Idk if this was asked already but what specifically counts as "special" items?
I have a battlestone, a scene, and a crystalized satchel drop from CryPools. Are they like battle stones, scenes, eggs, apparel, etc. only? Or does this only include specific items like boss fams, eggs, and eliminates? I want to know just in case I have a task for it already completed so I can add the task to the screenshot too.

@Makomo - here's a list of what types of items count as "special"! the battlestone and scene would qualify your screenshot for the "Get a drop with 2+ different types of special items" task :)

Yune really seems like what the boss tasks needed! I can beat every boss in the game with a single DPS statted for Culex's really old Kelp Beds duo + a mage very similar to Yune. 120 INT/59 QCK/35 VIT on my mage. She's even Shadow as well, lol. The one thing I'd recommend changing is swapping Dark Bolt to Shroud. I've found that Shroud simply does more damage + can inflict Blind for the same breath cost as Dark Bolt. Pinging just for the battlestone recommendation.
