Any new games you guys have been playing or have recently completed which you want to talk about? For me I have three I've been into recently.
After hiatus for like a year I picked up Tears of the Kingdom again and am getting close to beating it this time. This might be an unpopular opinion but I kind of like BOTW more. I haven't played a lot of Zelda games but I feel like this one is almost too big compared to its predecessor and it seems to kind of overwrite the lore established in the last one too which I'm not a fan of. Maybe the game was just ruined for me though because a random anonymous person online made a spoiler post to be a troll and I saw it like a year ago. It's by no means a bad game, its just not hitting the same I guess.
On the other hand me and some friends have been trying the beta for a shooter mech game that was announced at The Game Awards called Steel Hunters and we're having a lot of fun with it. It's still obviously unfinished and buggy but we're having a lot of fun playing together and trying out all the features in the game. The mech designs are really cool and they all seem to have character lore which is really cool too. Excited to see what they'll do with this game.
My sibling beat Mouthwashing and gave me a breakdown of what happened because I can't handle horror really well and honestly it sounds really cool for a story based game. It reminds me a lot of the kind of storytelling they pulled off in Metal Gear Solid 2 where they intentionally leave you in the dark to pull a crazy mind bending plot twist on you in the end. That game's definitely difficult to talk about though because many interpret it completely different than others, but I like it for what I see it as and think it's worth playing or watching a playthrough of if you like story based games, just definitely look up content warnings if that's something you're concerned about.

Oh man I loved mouthwashing, it’s kind of a shame how the fandom turned out on TikTok though. A lot of the nuance surrounding the characters falls away and turns them black and white but it is what it is.
Ive been playing Hades a lot! Ive always liked Greek mythology and I like the way the gods are portrayed in game. The art is amazing and the game plays really well and is easy to pick up. I’ve been itching to play the second one but ouch my wallet. It’s not that expensive but with the holidays around the corners.. woof.

I finished up Mario & Luigi: Brothership last week! I had a lot of fun with it. Somehow a 35 hour game took me 42 lol. I really liked how most named characters are recurring. Thats the most I can say without getting too spoiler-y!
I also started playing Bravely Default II yesterday. I’ve watched my sister play it earlier this year/late last year but I’ve been itching to experience it for myself. I went on easy mode because I’m a coward so I’m having an easy time so far. It’s a 70 hour game I think so it’s a big time commitment, but that’s never stopped me before ^.^’

Continuing to play FFXIV as I gradually level every job to 100 while steadily loosing my mind. I am really looking forward to the 24 person Chaotic Alliance Raid even if I'm not going to play it. The arena looks insane and I can't wait to see how it plays.
Recently picked up Albion Online as a good casual MMO since I grind too hard in XIV and theres something really nice about the simplicity of Albion.
Also recently picked up Marvel Rivals and if anyone else has and has been swallowed by Jeff, sorry, not sorry. I'm enjoying my adorable little sharky boi so much *hums the Jaws theme*. If anyone would like to play together, message me!
I've been playing heaps of Stardew Valley! Plus, I recently got 100% completion on A Little to the Left, though I still haven't played the DLC.

KarateOdysseyman I get what you mean about Tears of the Kingdom. I've been having a blast with some parts of it, I honestly really enjoy the Depths. My favourite part of games like those has always been exploration, so getting a whole new map to explore was so much fun. But some of the lore felt like it was trying to make BotW/TotK into a bigger part of the timeline, rather than letting it sit where it is, almost like trying to replicate OoT's lynchpin place. Plus, best boi Kass wasn't there and isn't mentioned (except as a passing reference by Pelican guy), despite his kids and wife still being around. That really disappointed me, as he was my favourite character and he brought so much life to the exploration (unlike Pikango, who was limited to mainly stables).

The Slime Rancher 2 update! It's so good and probably one of the best updates yet. I'm obsessed with the lore tid bits they've dropped so far!
Other then that I play Core Keeper every so often with my friends :]

I've been playing Octopath Traveler 2! I picked it up after about a year of not touching it, even though I originally got it around the time it came out and even got all of the characters. Now I'm like, actually playing through more than just the first chapters and it is amazing! I don't know why I didn't play it sooner. Maybe because it's one of those longer games but I now have time to play them and !!!
As you can tell I now have a hyperfixation ":3

I'm replaying Miitopia! Most of my hours are creating Miis because I am simple: I see a creature/character designer and I lose my mind and concept of time. Not even out of the main area yet because.... so.... many.... Miis....

I've been playing Pokémon Violet again because my love of shiny hunting was sparked back up and I also missed my team, though it's only a matter of time before Sky: Children of the Light inevitably gets me back in its usual chokehold.
