i really think the word "cringe" to describe interests you don't like or whatever should be retired. i see so many people afraid of being who they are because they're afraid of being perceived as "cringe". it's gross! humans are pack animals, so it's common to want approval from others. but you shouldn't have to hide things about yourself/who you are/what you like from people who you want approval from. get better friends, find a community even if it's only you and two other people. all this to say i hope everyone, including myself, embraces who they are and what they love more and becomes their true selves.
@darkpassage THIS THIS THIS! Louder for the people in the back! Honestly, this is exactly why I don't support "cringe culture." Let people enjoy the things that they love without fear of being made fun of. "Cringe" is just a term people use to invalidate someone's interests. As long as it's not harming anyone else, just because someone doesn't personally like that content does not necessarily make it bad. People are all different, and have varying things that matter to them or speak to them. What may be incredibly meaningful to one person has no affect on another. But that's no reason to shoot someone down. I especially see this term get tossed around with people's AuDHD hyperfixations, and it frustrates me to no end, acting like neurodivergent people are just people "silly" or "childish" with their interests, and honestly, that's so ableist. People can have fun with whatever they want (again, as long as it's not hurting others). I'm so tired of seeing people just try to tear others down or make them feel like they can't be themselves or like what they like, or are afraid to admit what they're interested in because it's met with such societal backlash. That's really not okay. It needs to stop!

Another post about my adventures with PokeRogue: Still lost at Level 25 and the second rival battle. On the bright side, I’m adding Lotad to my usual lineup on my next run because it’s going to be busted, since I caught a couple of Lombre right before the rival battle

I'm glad I've finally got motivation back to draw AND ink and colour my drawings. It's been so long. I'm honestly not even sure I coloured anything last year save maybe one or two drawings, and I barely drew at all. I've got so many drawings to work on though, including character designs and ref sheets... I'm only just starting to try and teach myself that it's okay to be ne again after I spent basically my whole childhood being "cringe shamed" by others for my interests AND personality. Even for using emoticons like ":3" and "XD", which is just part of my personality! It's so sad that some people are so apt to tear others down just because that don't like/understand/do something themselves! :<

Sleeepppy. Sleep schedule all out of whack so bf is making me a new espresso drink he learned about because he wanted to practice and I know I'm not gonna sleep anywaaay @_@ Hopefully I can get some work done while I'm awake. Otherwise I might go back to playing some more Song of Horror :3 (or do some crafts, who knows~)

I just caught a Mantine in Pokémon Go that has a “height” (wingspan?) of 3.53 meters, or ~11 ft 7 in. In awe at the sheer size of this lad!
