I totally agree about taking a break being necessary sometimes! Being very offline for a few months did help clear my head a bit. But I should have said something before I disappeared, that was pretty thoughtless admittedly.

I've followed you on ArtFight! There is nothing on my profile yet (I really have 0 refs for any of my characters because I keep them in my head, I need to get them out of there and onto some PNG files soon). I don't know how ArtFights go down; I hope it will be interesting to watch!

1? 2? its one of those - hatchie skins per festival, i should be able to afford to grab them if i like them without draining my bank. i usually don’t put on a lot of skins or accents, and almost never use doubles, so i think maybe only a handful of my babies will get accents. no way i’m doing it for 200+! :joy: and why im totally avoiding the UMA because i can resist the temptation of the adult accents pretty well but i know people are going to make the cutest hatchie accents known to man and i am not that strong lol. yeah, i love line breaking terts but they certainly make the whole skincent thing a whole different story.

actually, that makes a lot of sense with the approval and uploading system meaning it’s no longer individual property of the creator but property of the website itself which makes them responsible. ALSO, that is so generous and thank you so much! i will let you know if i have any ideas for hatchie skins going forward, and i don’t mind slow art / recolors if i do!

okay, little more awake now so here we go! thank you for the heads up, i will definitely let you know when i come out of my grieving period and feel up to socializing in a more direct way. i am excited to get to download the PSDs just to draw on altho i have no intention of designing any skins, haha. i just wanna design hatchlings for funsies. would love to hear about the new additions to your lair. are they fandragons? or just little babies that you have skin ideas for? i’m always excited to see new hatchies. i have been crawling the AH and bought a few during my hiatus for a serotonin boost myself.

i wish they would make clothes wearable for the babies too. :sob: but i realize the sheer amount of work that would go into that. who knows? maybe we will get lucky and get hatchling only gear in the future if they’re already doing this. heyo friend! i’m taking care of myself the best i can, i’ve lost track of the passage of time more than usual lately so i’m sorry about not replying to this sooner. i know you said no worries but idk where the last month went. augh. well, it’s a triggering subject so i won’t dwell on it in my comments, but like, you get it so i appreciate the patience and understanding. i miss talking with you but i definitely wanna make sure i’m in a place mentally where that’s not going to be overwhelming for either of us. :sob:

i totally missed this news announcement since it was so soon into my hiatus but your comment literally got me so hyped omg this is my dream?? i was SO RELIEVED to see they’re prepping slots for fest skins. cus uhhh i was 98% sure it was going to be custom skins only and unfortunately i would have had to simply ignore them the way i do adult dragon UMAs because i am not ready to spend my life savings on skins, even for hatchies.
