Imperials are my fav, by far. I got so obsessed with collecting them back when I started playing, and that's never changed.
My least fav breed is probably tundras. I just don't care for the look of them.
In ancient breeds, my fav is Sandsurge, they just look so fierce and pokey.
Can't really get behind Gaolers and Dusthides, the other ancients I at least like a bit depending on the color/gene combo, but I tend not to collect a lot of them.

Fav modern is probably Skydancer F, a little generic lol. Spiral M are pretty close though!
Least fav modern is probably between Snappers and Mirrors. I try to have a few mirrors out of respect for Plague, but Snappers I can't bring myself to keep. The way they wear genes is very bland to me.
Ancients wise... I hesitate to say Everlux because recency bias, but I can safely say Aether and Abbies! Gimme a few months and I'll know where Everlux stand hehe.
Least fav is Banescales, no question. Their design is fantastic, I desperately wanted a legless wyvern, but their poses really bother me and the way they wear genes is also very bland and overly busy to me. In another world....

Favorite moderns: Probably Coatls and Guardians. Coatls make for some very fun scries, and I love their snake-like heads and feathered wings. Guardians are your tried and true classic dragons, and I adore the female and hatchling pose for each one. Bogsneaks are also a breed I love, but I've yet to find one that truly clicks for me. Ridgebacks have been growing on me as of recent.
Least favorite moderns: I abhor Pearlcatchers, and I don't care at all for Imperials. They're just... not to my taste. I don't like their shapes or poses at all (especially Pearlcatchers. Ugly as can be, in my opinion). Faes, Fathoms, and Tundras are just boring to me and I can't see myself using them all that much, if at all.
Favorite ancients: Veilspuns are super elegant and pretty, and I love a lot of the genes that come with them (I'll do anything for a modern port of Shell/Web). Auraboas also sit at the top because they have so many good genes. I love the shapes of Aberrations, but they're a bit lacking in the gene department and I hope they get an expansion soon. While the recent release is probably giving me some bias, I really do love Everluxes and how their shape completely destroys the mold. Check back in a few months, but right now I have very positive opinions of them.
Least favorite ancients: Banescales and Undertides are boring to me, and I can't see myself hanging on to any of them. Aethers are too cutesy and I don't care for any of their poses.

My all time favorite dragons are easily the Coatls, I adore the way the species is designed and I can't get enough of them! Some honorable mentions go Aberrations, Aethers, and Skydancers. The list goes on, I think most species on the site look great.
As for my least favorite? I think it depends on when you ask me since there's a lot of dragons that are just "meh" to me. The first few that come to mind are Tundras, Obelisks, Dusthides, and Fathoms. I don't dislike any of them, I'm just pickier than usual when it comes to colors/genes on these breeds.
I think it has more to do with the actual line art of the dragons themselves than it does the actual design of the breeds. For example, I think Crim is absolutely adorable and one of the best NPCs design wise, but the Tundras in the game itself? Not my favorite.
Regardless, I'm hoping to diversify my lair a bit more! Maybe I'll grow fonder of some of my least favorites once I own a few that I really love

Fair warning: my profile has a very brightly colored dragon slapped onto the front of the page. Just letting you know in advance! ;D

Favorite moderns are Obelisks. I love them so freaking much and their release stays my favorite memory of playing Flight Rising.
Least favorite gotta be imperials. Nothing to do with design tho, I just despise not being able to have one as a g1 so I opted to ignore their existence. Such is life.
Favorite ancients my beloved Aethers and Auraboras. Paying respect to my first and current flights with my love for their ancients. Honorable mention goes to Gaolers, my first FR love.
Least favorite are Everlux. I love the idea behind them and I appreciate having a new fat dragon, they're just the breed that's the least my cup of tea of them all by elimination. They feel like the least "dragon" of the breeds to me which is bound to happen to some ancients. But they're the newest kids in the street, maybe i'm just not used to them yet.

I don't have a favorite. I love them all.
Except Aethers. I cannot stand them.
Even though I have one.
But I have it because I don't like it.

Favorite moderns: Pearlcatchers and Tundras <3 I find them very easy to dress and gene nicely, and the f Pearls and m Tundras are some of my favorite site poses in general. I especially love how Tundras wear primary genes... f Skydancer, f Snap, and m Imperial are also up there for poses, but I don't care as much for their counterparts.
Least favorite moderns: Mirrors and Nocturnes - both are very hard to dress for me, and both adult Noc poses look practically identical which I don't care for.
Favorite ancients: Aberrations and Everlux - two heads are better than one hahaha. And I just really adore Everlux, first time in a long time I've REALLY liked an ancient; I don't usually have strong opinions about them because I like dressing my dragons, but I enjoy both of these guys. Sandsurges too, but mostly because beard is one of my favorite terts.
Least favorite ancients: Aether and Auraboa. Could also argue Banes could go on this list on account that I often forget they exist ^^;

Disclaimer, I love all of the species each for their own reasons and I'll give anything a shot at least once - I don't hate any of them at all :)
Favorite modern: easily Skydancers! I also love Spirals, Wildclaws, and Imperials, but I have so many skydancers in my clan. I get a G1 and immediately scry it as a Skydancer. It's not an addiction I swear. :')
Least favorite modern: Mirrors have always felt a bit bland to me? Not sure if it's how smooth they look, or their little head frills, or how they wear apparel? They're okay but I've never really found myself thinking "this would be perfect if it were a mirror"
Favorite ancient: I'm not huge on ancients but I do enjoy Auraboas and Aethers quite a bit!
Least favorite ancient: probably hot take but Gaolers have never been my thing. I think it's the small wings for me - I've found that I like highlighting the secondary gene/color combo in most of my dragons and I can't do that very well with Gaolers :( the design is very nice but i love big wings
