Though she hatches much like her first nest sister, Itri's egg glows in a bizarre pale shade before she finally tumbles out. Maple blinks a few times in surprise, then reaches down and lifts up his new daughter, who grabs onto his hand tightly with her own. Seeing her bustling relatives speaking to one another, she attempts to mimic them and opens her mouth widely before letting a giggle escape.

While seated within her father's arms, a pattern of glowing spots trace down Itri's body as her excitement grows, betraying the cause of the mysterious light of her egg.

"Dire Krysanalas are leafy, bark-armored beasts that are especially attuned to nature magic. Like those with the Glade Blessing, these creatures can sway the growth of plant life, but to a lesser extent. Faeries who use this form prefer to fight up close, slashing at opponents with their sharp root claws. They have a powerful bite as well, and they can release a haunting call that lowers reflex-time in enemies for a few moments. Besides battling, these Faerie types like receiving orders and are great at completing chores. They make excellent companions."
