@SuperDoctorMatty The only person bothered by YOUR unnamed dragon in the offspring list is YOU. If you don't want that, it's your problem, not someone else's.

Is having Unnamed that much worse than Bottle or Snot? These are legit random names that can happen.

@SuperDoctorMatty This suggestion happens often, usually after a large dom battle. There haven't been any in a while, thus the lack of similar suggestions. As I mentioned, since you're the one having issues, you should take care of the problem yourself. I don't know how familiar you are with dom battles but the key is to exalt as many dragons as possible. Naming dragons can take as much time as exalting one. A lot of people who regularly exalt dragons actually prefer they are sold pre-named, because the previous owner might pester them if they don't like the new name.

Another point. The admins have stated that once a dragon leaves your lair, it's no longer yours. You have as much right to demand someone else to name their dragons before exalting as I have to tell you that you should change all your dragons into triple basic tundras.

No support. When someone buys a dragon it's theirs to do with as they like. If they want to exalt the dragon they paid for unnamed that's up to them. If the seller doesn't want any Unnamed dragons in their offspring lists they're free to name before they sell. Since you can't call a dragon Unnamed you've fixed the problem :D
And what about if someone buys an unnamed dragon and never names it? We've had some dragons for 3 years that are still unnamed. What if they then go inactive? How is that different to exalting an unnamed dragon?
Is Unnamed less appealing than something like xXxPrEtTyxXx or EDGhdasfU or wingwing?

@SuperDoctorMatty
You really should have searched that topic before bringing this up again. Trust me, you are far from the first and the answer is always the same. Name the dragons before they leave your lair if it matters to you. Once they are in somebody else's lair, they are no longer your dragon in any way. The person they then belong to is free by game rules to do whatever they wish with them. Some choose to exalt unnamed for lore purposes. Bear in mind that other than extreme conquest battles for dom as we just had, one would almost always lose money exalting an untrained dragon. They have to be named to go into the coliseum. Your wish to have them named once they aren't your dragon any longer doesn't trump somebody elses right to play the game as they wish within the rules.

Oh and yes adult fodder was selling for 20 gems in the last minutes of LvN so yeah, those were getting exalted as fast as they were being bought.

@SuperDoctorMatty That's down to personal opinion. We'd rather have Unnamed, which looks like a regular name at a glance, than something that's a mix of capitals or clearly gibberish. You'd really prefer sdghyh to Unnamed in an offspring list?
It still wouldn't fix the issue of users buying an unnamed dragon then going inactive. You're still stuck with that particular name in your offspring list forever.
All dragons can be fodder. But if you have a dragon you don't think is fodder then you should be naming before selling. Multiple polls have been done and all show that the vast majority of people are not put off buying a pre-named dragon. Offer renaming scrolls with every purchase if you think it might put people off.
And if you think a dragon is being spite exalted you can report that through contact us, it's not ok. But just exalting a dragon unnamed isn't necessarily spite exalting.

I don't see anyone ripping your head off, they are just not supporting the suggestion and explaining why. The solution really is to name dragons before selling. People who plan to keep them long term won't mind picking up a renaming scroll if they don't like the one you chose.
