TOPIC | Differentiate Progenitors and Gen Ones
@mageoftime
That actually is the way I initially suggested to differentiate them. :)

I'm gonna breed change all the deities into Wildclaws.
Looking to buy a 5 digit, btw!
As a player who regularly sells G1's when I find them, I'd say that I want this feature to be implemented. Support from me!

IM LEAVING FR. SEE THIS THREAD FOR DRAGONS: LORE, LVL 25, etc
I definitely support this! It would help a lot, and stop a lot of confusion
So, what I'm proposing is this to differentiate them: -When you hover over the dragon, if it's a Gen One or a Progenitor, it'll say "First Generation" under parents. For progens, I think it should say "Progenitor" instead. -Likewise, on the dragon's page itself, it should say "Progenitor" or "None (Progenitor)" under parents.
Fantastic, I definitely agree with this idea, it'd be much more clear and give the progens a bit more definition of their importance in the lair.

Support, it seems small and easy enough, though I don't intend to give up my progens, it'd be nice to have a differentiation. I remember making this mistake when I first joined.

luckily I didn't try to sell them because I loved my babies :'>

I love coffee. I love it oh so dearly. The caffeinated joy that brings me to waddle my penguin legs to freedom and join my fellow short brethren. One goal upon all our minds as a collective hive of couch potatoes: feed, sleep, feed. Yet I dared to defect, and ventured to the vast lands to sip the nectar of holiness. The frappuccino size grande. I fell many great beasts; titans of giraffe leggeths, shopping carts of short person annihilation, and crowds of tiny human destruction. I have conquered them all.
I support a small note specifying the G1 type -- 'progenitor' could be put in brackets next to 'Parents: non', like you see with Roundsey dragons; I see no need for "normal" G1s to have any additional notes, however - keep 'em how they've always been.

Personally, (and I have probably posted on this thread before), I would rather they didn't add this, and instead perhaps allowed users to optionally denote their progens.

However, with the search options for the lair, you already CAN distinguish progens from regular gen 1s, so you don't have to worry about asking to buy a progen. (would be nice if there were a filter for gen1 dragons that didn't include progens)

I would not, however, really like mandatory marking as progens, because not everyone wants a lot of labels (even the raffle dragons being marked had some people upset, and others saying they might have liked a raffle dragon but not if they are marked etc..) on their dragons, nor want their progens distinguished from regular gen1s etc.. So, it should be up to the individual player whether they want their dragon marked as a progen visibly (without the search option).

I'd love a little marker for progenitor dragons in the same style that the roundsey dragons have a special identifier in their lineage box! Full support for this!
