TOPIC | Skin/Accent tips?
Hiya! Lmk if this is the wrong place to put this but I was wondering if any of you guys had any tips on creating skins/accents/skincents?
I've been looking a lot and I haven't really found much that would fit my dragons and, out of desperation, am probably going to end up buying blueprints instead.

If I were to do that, i might even try selling them since that'd make up for the cost and money drain.

I try to make a general sketch outline of what I want on the dragon on top of the base, but I can never exactly get the positioning to look right. As well as that, textures and things tend to be a lot harder than I first realized. o_o
Things I have trouble with:
- The shadow layer being so dang dark
- The lineart clipping over the skin

Anyone have any ideas on how to work around something like that? I know this is kinda a weird thread, but any magicians out there looking to teach new tricks? ;)

This guide by kaenith is extremely good https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/skin/2815957#post_42131597

Regarding lines and shadows- yes lines will clip but you're allowed to change the colors of the lines and shadows to have them not stand out as much as long as it's still visible. If u look at skins that do anatomy alterations or cover a lot of lines u can kinda see hints of the original lines that aren't immediately noticible.
