@Extrics I'm not even sure quite how much of the carving is in the shadow part; all I know it that it has to be 'noticably darker' than the rest. You can try putting it through as is though; see what happens lol (I've never worked with so much pure white; I just know what when artists 'erase' parts of the wings they usually make it blueish or something; like you did with the line work. C:

Staring at it again, I think you may have expertly kept (most, maybe even) all of it out of the shadow area??
