The Trading Post was bustling more then usual. There was a lot going on, and dragons of all sizes, breeds and colors were mingling about, selling and trading goods or just hanging around. The sun was burning down on the area, but it was surprisingly cool that day thanks to a breeze.
A small caravan of three Mirror Dragons stood away from the crowds, on the edge of the post, near Swip's Swap stand, their dark colored wings and scales blending perfectly with one another. All were quite large dragons--save the female charcoal Mirror. She was a bit shorter then the other two--and one would have to look hard to spot the tiny goldenrod colored wings, coal colored scales and shadowy eyes of a young Spiral. Her tiny body was laying stretched across the chocolate colored Mirror's back, but she didn't seem to mind.
The hatchling yawned, showing off little ivory colored teeth and a dark pink tongue. The Mirror looked back at her three foot long passenger.
"You alright, little v'one?" she asked, her voice thick with a Russian sounding accent.
The Spiral blinked her violet colored eyes, and nodded. "Oh, 'ja, I'm fine. Just a little bit tired is all," she replied, laying her head back down. She sounded as if she was straight from Germany.
The darkest colored Mirror looked back at them, his four blue eyes glinting with a childish spark. "Lil' squirt's tired, eh, Arrow?"
"Oh hush. You v'were like dis as a 'atchling, Night'v'ing," the Mirror addressed as Arrow snorted.
"Yeah, yeah," the azure winged Mirror huffed. "Yo, Roonie, you hungry? I could real quick go buy us somethin' t' eat," he quipped, quickly turning his gaze to the third Mirror. One would think they were siblings, but no. The two were soon to be mates.
The Mirror gave a good natured snort. "Sure, I don't see why not," she replied with a shrug.
Nightwing simply nodded. "Be back in a sec'," he growled, flashing the Mirrors a grin before he ducked off.
Arrow shook her head. "I do not know v'hat you see in zat Mirror, Rune'v'ing..." she muttered.
"Neither do I..." the azure winged Mirror sighed, cocking her head ever so slightly. "But I do know I love him."
Arrow rolled her eyes. "Ah, to be young again.
HA!" she gave a bark of harsh laughter. "I v'as a real idiot back zen. I have no idea v'hat I saw in zat Guardian."
Rune grinned and simply laughed at this.
