I feel like rp's are just easier for me on forums. I mean, google docs are okayish, but I remember a friend inviting me to this one RP server and there were so many new posts when I had things to do and I ended up missing a bunch of plot and had no idea how to respond to anything...

Yeah. I've been in a couple of Discord RPs before. Used to be much more active in previous years, but when I started getting busy, I'd find that I'd fall behind the plot fairly quickly. Also being Discord, it was kinda hard seeing what happened if there were a bunch of 2-liner posts in succession that day, unless you were there.
Maybe it could be a simple multifandom-group talk Discord? I can probably drop in a few moments when I could, but not super important if you can't get into discord.
