.:Pestilence - Yautja:.
Pestilence gently tugged at her black collar, causing it to ring quietly. She sat perched on the edge, her front claws hanging from the sharp drop of the cliff's edge. Pestilence squinted her eyes, attempting to see movement across the Wasteland. Nothing. The Mirror sighed, hoping she would see movement soon. She wanted nothing more than to crush the Order with her claws, rip them to shreds with her fangs, and allow her Plague to take over the land. Pestilence spat some of the black venom out of her mouth and off of the cliff, hearing the faint sizzle when it hit the ground. She smiled. That sizzle was her favorite noise in the world, other than the sound of bones being crushed under her feet. Pestilence turned her head, scanning the area behind her. Where on earth was Neiravel? No matter. He would be back soon, she figured.

.:Death - Order:.
"Ha! Got it," exclaimed Death. He had just lifted up a small rabbit with just the power of his mind. Death tilted his head as the rabbit fumbled around, flailing its tiny limbs in shock of being lifted from the ground. A smile was plastered on Death's face as he slowly let the rabbit down. He sat in the grass, content with his new skill. Death's tail flicked gently, quietly ruffling the grass beneath it. He turned his head, rattling the horns on his head. There wasn't any other prey nearby. He shrunk down as he thought of Athena. She would be back soon enough. He laid down and rested his head on his front feet, awaiting her return.

Neiravel/Yautja

Like a lizard, he darted from rock to rock, skeleton to skeleton, hiding in the crevices and shadows they provided. The smell of dead bodies choked the air, a smell that he has long since gotten used to when he was born into these lands. Crouching low to the ground behind a cracked skull of a guardian, his head pointed up, he looked at the sky. Rather than the violet skies he lived under, it was blue. Neiravel let out a deep breath, the fae male was in enemy territory now. He had to be very cautious as his bright, jungle green scales reflected in the sun's rays, exposing his location to The Order.

He sniffed the air and looked around and then dashed to the next rock, nearing the cliff that housed his enemies. There was a sudden pang of panic when the dragon saw a dragon from The Order flying in his direction. "That dragon is flying too fast," he thought, "I won't be able to make it out in time." Shaking his head and quickly regaining his calm posture, he stepped back and fell. Caught by surprise and confused, he fell backwards into an abandoned rabbit hole just as the shadow of the dragon passed over him.

The small dragon tumbled blindly into the darkness, loose dirt flying everywhere and broken roots falling from their fixed positions. The green fae landed on his head, cracking the bird skull he wore from the back of the head to the spot into between his eyes.

His vision went dark.

.:Pestilence - Yautja:.
Quite a while passed, with still no sign of the tiny male Fae anywhere. Pestilence sighed. He must have run off somewhere. But with his size, he could be anywhere. With one final scan of the Wasteland before her, she stood up and stretched, bones popping in their sockets. Pestilence snorted, sending a small cloud of dust over the edge of the cliff. Without a second thought, crimson wings shot out, stretching almost twice the length of her body. Pestilence simply walked off the edge of the cliff, free falling for at least 5 seconds. Right before she hit the ground, she spread out her wings, which tremendously slowed her fall and she hit the ground with a loud thud. Pestilence was unfazed by the landing. She slowly proceeded to walk forward, crushing bones under her feet as she walked. "Neiravel? Are you out here?" she called out.

With no answer, Pestilence turned to her other senses to try and locate the tiny Fae. She halted, making no movement as she lifted her head and inhaled deeply. Some other kind of dragon was here, not a Fae. In the distance, the silhouette of another dragon was flying fairly quickly. "Let them come," she mumbled to herself. Pestilence broke out into a trot as she headed in the direction of the flying dragon, but stopped once again to check for Neiravel's scent. This time, the faint smell of the Fae tickled her snout, teasing her to find him. "Neiravel?" she called quietly, venom slowly dripping from her maw.

Athena - The Order

A near silent hum vibrated from her throat as Athena slowly wondered around, small ice shards appearing and disappearing around her. She scrunched up her nose in annoyance, shaking her head slightly as any conjured ice shards immediately melted away. She slowed as she neared Death pausing her thoughts momentarily to glance at him before sitting down and returning to her thoughts.

.:Death - Order:.
The Mirror could feel Athena's eyes glance at him. He gently shook his head, as if disappointed at himself. He glanced at the blue Pearlcatcher, his eyes quickly preening her like a bird preens its feathers. He envied the beauty of her; the blue scales, those fascinating stripes. For a split second, he attempted to peek into her mind, but he did not get a clear reading. She seemed to be deep in thought, but Death had not trained enough to learn what she was thinking about.

Death's eyes returned to the Wasteland. Another dragon had landed in the vast boneyard, and it appeared to be searching for something. His eyes narrowed slightly, focusing on the unknown dragon. It must be a rogue, or a Yautja. Without taking his eyes off of the anonymous dragon, he tilted his head slightly. "Athena, do you see this?" he asked quietly.

Athena - The Order
She let out a silent sigh, ice shards evaporating quickly as she slowly opened her eyes. Her irritation of his interruption was a little apparent, but she had given him the benefit of the doubt that it was something important. She glanced at him once more to follow where his eyes pointed. Her tail swished once, rather violently, kicking up dust. Her mouth curled open slightly, a small hiss passing through her sharp teeth. "Death..." Athena was unsure of what to do. She was torn, her guts were pulling her to run off and chase whatever idiot was unwise enough to expose themselves, but the other half knew the Elders would chastise them both for even noticing them when they should be deep in their studies. "This is frustrating..." her tail flicked again, forcing it to come out more calm than the first.

Unlike the others, Death has become the least annoying, and most likable company in her mind. She did not once think it around him nor tell him though, she wouldn't want him to feel like it meant he could spill his life out to her. In all honesty she had too many thoughts in her mind to even care for his tales.

Death - Order
Death slightly drew back at the sudden hiss from the female. He sometimes worried that she would lash out at him someday, as she always seemed to be irritated at him. Maybe he was over thinking it, and maybe she wasn't mad at him. He sputtered as the dust cloud drifted to his face, frantically clawing at his snout to clear out his nose and mouth. He shook his head to get the dust off of his horns, letting out a content snort as he finished.

He tilted his head again, still watching the dragon below. He turned his eyes to the rather aggressive looking Athena, hoping she wouldn't hurt him. Death quickly said what was on his mind. "I don't think the dragon is on our side of the Wasteland yet. If she crosses, I'm not sure what we should do," he stated calmly. He turned his attention to a small rock in front of his paws, carefully focused his energy, and the rock began to levitate. With a slight movement of the claw, the rock shot over the edge of the cliff. Death simply smiled and chuckled with pride.
