The pastel pink dragon was pretty sure she'd gotten everything right. All of her equations said this would be successful, so she wasn't sure why she was hesitating. Uneasy, she paced around her circle again, checking for anything out of line. No, everything was fine. With a huff she sat down again, golden chains jangling with her movement. Even her instructor in the arts had agreed what she was attempting should work. Honestly she didn't know what she would do if this didn't work, it was her last ditch attempt. She had to find the goblet or her little brother would never be free again. Pushing that thought from her mind (confident, she MUST be confident), Letty placed her claws in the designated spots. Taking a deep breath, she began to channel her magic into the circle, chanting the spell to summon the spirit who could help her with her goal. A bright light suddenly erupted from the circle, causing the large dragon to squint and jerk back. Blinking, she tried to peer through the light to see if she had succeeded or failed. @PreferablyAlone

As it happened, what seemed to be dust made out of light bursts and quickly settled. As it touched the ground, it faded. Gray and black feathers were scattered across the floor. A winged figure stood upright with its back facing her in the middle of the circle.

It sighed simply as it dusted itself off, a timid masculine voice spoke up. "Please call me first, I was busy with..." his thoughts got interrupted at seeing her when he turned around. The look on his face said it all, this wasn't something he'd stumble across in his daily life. The garden shears clutched against his chest were his only defenses in this alien situation.
"WHO are you??" It wasn't as timid as before, but far from intimidating. His face looked angry, but his tone gave away his nervousness. Shears pointed wide open to Letty, it still had some rose leaves stuck to it. Very scary, totally.

He looked down below him, before back at her. "How did you get my summon mark???"

His appearance was interesting, tan skin, black hair, yellow eyes with slender pupils. He was well-kept, his clothes almost seemed from another decade. Darkly suited with a layered frilled blouse, he didn't seem too out of place in this room of magic surprisingly.

That... wasn't the spirit of a dragon. Sitting on her haunches, she took one clawed finger and rubbed her temple as she thought, muttering to herself as she went over her calculations. It was right, everything had been correct! What went wrong? Huffing, she looked down at the figure. What even was he? Huffing in amusement at his threat display, those things likely wouldn't even tickle, she examined the creature. It was bipedal which was already strange. The only bipeds she knew of were wildclaws and this being was no dragon. She brought her head closer. Well, at least he had wings like a proper creature. Not like some of those ghastly beast tribes. Was he a beast? He didn't have fur but he did wear clothing. There were some dragons she knew from a neighboring clan that dressed like that. Deciding she should probably try to answer his query before he panicked even worse, Letty allowed her innate magic to wash over her, shrinking herself down to a much more manageable size for the creature to deal with. With a sigh, she broke the circle before walking up to the creature. "I have no idea of what you mean. I don't use summoning marks. My summon spell is written into the circle, not some mark designed to bring you." She paused for a moment, eyes narrowing at him. If she had lips they'd be pursed in annoyance. "What even are you anyway? You're no dragon and I don't think you're some new beast tribe. And there's the fact you're living. I needed a specific spirit."

It seemed to settle his nerves, but only some. His flared and fuzzed up feathers told the extent of it. But he lowered his gardening tool and cleared his throat. He may not be comfortable, though he knew better than to freak out with a creature that currently acted benevolent.

He took off his glove on his left hand, it wasn't only to protect him from dirt; it had a mark on it. It didn't look burned in or anything, it looked natural, as if it was a birthmark. It was a perfect circle along with an upside-down triangle within it. There was a stripe that struck through the bottom of the triangle. It was a simple marking, easy enough to remember... And to accidentally summon.
"I'm guessing someone passed it onto you..." He muttered to himself, his right hand occupied with the spare glove. Twirling it between his fingers with some internalized frustration.

"I'm an angel... A living one, yes. I've no idea what a beast tribe is. In a similar vein, I've no idea where I am. Which... Is a big issue for me, how far are we from Germany?" He asked, his voice was less wavery. It was formal as of now. "I'm hope it's not a lengthy flight back, I don't have any change for a train ride back."
He didn't rush her to reply... Though took a step back from her, preferring to keep his distance still. He quickly glanced at his surroundings, intrigued by some of her belongings. But he held his tongue about it for now, at least with whatever she had summoned, it wasn't worried about her forward use of magic.

He pensively pushed some feathers of his back towards him with his foot, attempting to be subtle about it. There was plenty to go about...

It was for a larger form than what she currently was, but not so large as her full size. Her grimoire lay open on the surface, her summoning spell writ across the visible page. The mark on the back of his hand matched one in the name of the spirit she had tried to summon. Sighing, she took a moment to look around the room. It was a large cave she had turned into her workroom. It was big enough to house her full size, but the furniture and magical items within were for a dragon much smaller. It was hard for a dragon of her kind to do magic, so most things were fit for smaller dragons like faes. It was also easier to do potions in smaller amounts. Enough ingredients would be hard to find otherwise. Deciding her temper was under control, she flew back down so the so-called angel. "Are you a fish, then? The only thing here with that name is the angelfish," she informed him, once again sitting back on her haunches so she could cross her forearms. Germany? Train? Letty cocked her head to the side in confusion. "No idea what you're talking about. We're in Sornieth, specifically the Sunbeam Ruins, home of my master. Maybe this Germany is across the sea? We don't tend to travel." Turning away, she wondered where exactly her master was right now. He'd need to be informed... "Oh!" she said suddenly, turning back to face him. "I'm being incredibly rude. You may call me Letty."

"Oh!" she said suddenly, turning back to face him. "I'm being incredibly rude. You may call me Letty."
The strange creature slid his glove back on, "It's all right. I suppose we've both been caught equally in an unexpected situation. I'm Sacarel, however I get called Zack as well sometimes". He introduced in turn, "That's a bit uncanny how oddly similar the marks are..." he muttered to himself as stroked his chin, in thought as well. "No two are alike..."

He didn't ponder too long about it yet, as he went to address her other points. "Angelfish? You're pulling my leg, right?" his tone wasn't accusatory, more so a little confused. "I can't be summoned or teleported overseas either... I'm not sure why either, I-" He started to get increasingly uncertain. He flew to one of the windows before she'd be drowned in questions, pressing his face against the window to ground himself again. He's well-traveled, surely it's just a local's name?
Well, maybe not. He tapped his fingers against the window, what country, located in Europe, had yellow grass like this, and yet the residents spoke English just fine? He let out a nervous laugh, "Oh god no" he commented as it started to piece together things.

"No no no, ooooh" he landed back where he was before. "Have you seen the buildings floating out there???" Sacarel asked, of course she had, but wiseness would escape in a situation of panic, however internal it was. He crossed his arms, his smile and posture was extremely awkward. Clearly he felt deeply discomforted by whatever he figured out. "I-I may be an uninvited guest, though your magic study is gorgeous... sorcery room? I don't really know anymore" He complimented to distract himself.

He sat down after a moment, "I really need a moment, phoo" he excused himself. Hand on forehead, trying not to bite into his knuckles. He grabbed his own personal diary of witchcraft, flipping through it quickly.
