Syrena watched amusingly as the other dragons start to fight among themselves. They were awfully loud. She spotted Fury flying off and another dragon go in the general direction. Curiously, Syrena opened her wings and took after them, it was better than sitting around. She didn’t know or care if someone saw her flying off.

When her ear twitched, she shot forward at top SkyWing speed, hoping to shake off her pursuers. She also shot a blast of frost breath behind her to mask some of her scent.

Leopard felt the wind from another dragon rush past her and knew someone in the group had also followed Fury. She growled and pumped her wings a little faster, determined to get there first, but, quite soon, the trail went cold. Leopard saw a large patch of frost and knew what Fury had done. She inhaled deeply and shrank back into the foliage. Her talons began to shrink and become more rounded. Her scales became fur riddled with spots. Her snout grew stouter with large, sharp canines. Her green eyes glittered as she shook her pelt. Though this body felt natural and comforted Leopard quite a bit, a tiny part of her brain still nagged at her. More than nagged, ridiculed. This was the only animal she had ever killed and ever planned to kill. Leopard huffed softly and sadly, but with her enhanced sense Fury's trail flooded her nose with the single inhale. She set off through the trees at a slower pace than before, but still quick enough, she believed, to catch up.

Syrena spun around the blast of frost that came her way and looked behind her. The other dragon was gone and only the cold remained. She spotted a leopard slinking away and shrugged, maybe the other one gave up. Syrena could still see Fury and with her powerful four wings she tried to catch up with her.

Fury growled under her breath and pumped her wings harder, now shooting fire at the trees so that the smoke would hide her scent instead. She saw a muddy lake and spiraled down to it, sinking into the depths without so much as a “plop”.

Leopard felt wings rush over her once more and growled in anger. Forgetting about the guilt and pain of being in this form she ran harder. Faster. She lept over a large tree that must've fallen to the ground quite recently and fell... right into a ring of fire. The tree had been blocking the fire from spreading further, as its surface was still slick with rain, but Leopard had ignored the signs and the scent of smoke. She yowled desperately and tried to vault the tree again, but it had begun to catch on fire, too, and was too high up for her to reach. She knew she only had one option left, so she began to yowl, hoping a passing dragon may hear her and come help.

Syrena landed near a lake, looking for signs of Fury but all the scent disappeared. She smelled smoke and noticed that half the forest was burning. Syrena heard howls and realized it was the leopard from before. Swooping down she caught the small animal in her claws and dove towards the mud pit to escape the fire.

Leopard had curled up into a tiny corner the fire had not yet reached, shivering, although it was clearly not cold. She hadn't thought this was how she was going to go out. As the fire crept closer and closer, she closed her eyes tightly, ready for the fire to take her. When wind instead of heat brushed her pelt she opened her eyes to see clouds and the open air.

She looked up and realized that Syrena must've followed her and Fury from the group, though surely Syrena didn't know that this random Leopard was her. Though the facts added up, there hadn't ever been a dragon like Leopard recorded. Though if there had been, Leopard assumed they would've been another Rainwing with their almost vegetarian diets and their affinity for the furry creatures living in their jungle.

She curled her paws up away from the heat of the fire still raging beneath her and puffed out her fur a bit against the cold. She was just relieved to be away from her close call, until she saw the giant mud pit they were heading towards. Leopard as a Rainwing and as an animal didn't really mind the mud between her talons or paws, but the thought of having mud all over her fur and seeping in between her scales and clumping up sent her into a frenzy. She clawed wildly at the air and yowled louder than before, but, as they neared the mud, she was forced to take a deep breath in and shut her eyes as tight as they could go.

“Ah... There they go.” Wipe-out sighed before he began to fly off at a random direction. He really had no clue on where he’s going but he’s growing sick of being soaked to the bone.

Leopard felt the talons around her release for maybe only a second and she burst to the surface of the mud. Her paws flailed wildly as she took in heaving breaths. Panicking while going into the mud may not have been the best idea. It took quite a bit of oxygen when your mind ran wild. After calming down and realizing she was okay to stay paddling on the surface of the bog she took in her surroundings. The area she suspected Fury had set on fire was quickly growing, though she knew it would be tough, her village would soon arrive to put out the fire, or at least make it into a controlled burn.

(Btw I will be on a trip for the next week and a half, so I may not be ask quick to respond, but I'll be on when I can!)
