Pumpkin squeaked in fear and darted away, stumbling through the trees and underbrush as she attempted to flee. Her wing snagged on a particularly jagged branch, and she let out a cry of pain.

Wild darted after Pumpkin, finally seeing her snagged on the tree. She reached out and freed Pumpkin, before flying back to help Glitch with Autumn.

Pumpkin stayed there, dreadfully confused.
Why would a Lycan... help her..?
She shook her head, deciding not to chance it. She still couldn't trust them... She ran back to town.
((Should we timeskip to the next day?))

The next morning, 6:00 a.m.
Autumn stumbled back into town, managing to scramble into his room through the window before the sun rose. He shuddered as he changed back to normal, his adrenaline fading and leaving behind a dull ache. He curled up in bed, trying to forget his misadventures as a new Lycan, though the taste of blood lingered...
~~~
Pumpkin trotted through the village, making her daily commute to the journalist's guild. Her eyes sparkled with nervous energy; she had so much to report today, though the reality of what she'd witnessed was steadily catching up with her.
As the morning sun glistened on a now normal Wild, she realized that she was very hungry. ‘I’m normal now’ Wild thought. ‘I can just pop into town for a minute to get something to eat’ She flew into town, hoping that she made the right choice by letting that normal dragon go.
Glitch woke up in his home, walking out the door with a hood draped over him. He walked into the square, looking rather pleased with himself.
Pumpkin happened to spot them. She tensed, trying to just walk past without meeting their eyes or causing a scene.
She ducked into a nearby coffee shop as an alibi. In faded writing above the door, so pale that only a Lycan or a dragon with exceptional eyes could read it, there was a sign that said, "Lycans Welcome."
Pumpkin failed to see it in her haste.
While Wild was browsing some small stores, she noticed the dragon she saved from last night headed into a coffee shop. She pays for her food and leaves, then noticed the sign saying ‘Lycans Welcome’.
Oh no.
She noticed Glitch and ran over to him. She gestured the coffee shop and whispered “a NORMAL went in there!” Before following Pumpkin inside.
As soon as Pumpkin entered the shop, she was hit with a blast of strongly scented coffee. The smell of espresso wafted through the air heavily, making Pumpkin feel almost sick.
The lights were dim and warmly tinted, giving the shop an orange hue, which, when paired with the wood and darkly colored brick, as well as the plush couches near the fireplace, gave the area a nice, cozy feel. Nonetheless, the sudden dim lights made Pumpkin's eyes hurt, and she had to blink a few times just to see.
Disoriented, she stumbled towards the counter, keeping an eye on her surroundings.
"E-excuse me?"
The dragon at the counter didn't seem to hear her, loudly chatting with an unfamiliar Bogsneak and a Fae that Pumpkin recognized from the journalist's guild.
Pumpkin huffed, then repeated herself, "Excuse me!"
Her sudden yell seemed to break the spell, and everyone in the shop, previously preoccupied, turned to face her. She squeaked, anxious.
