@AbyssRanger [s]Oh no this came out of me help[/s] Name: Ginelle (Gin) Saashte aka "Fist Mother" Age: 31 technically, though physically she is about 23 Race:Redguard Gender/Pronouns: Female She/her Sexuality: Pansexual, though seems to be more attracted to females Equipment: She wears a full set of Dawnguard armor. She prefers not to wear a helmet or any head coverage into battle. She carries a Dawnguard shield, and a Stalhrim mace at her left hip. She has a thick wooden crossbow set at her back with a mixture of different kinds of bolts she's gathered and collected. Faction: Ex Dawnguard Turned Companion Skills: block, one handed, Archery, and a bit of hand to hand (I know that's not exactly a perk in skyrim but she'd probably have it if it was) Appearance: (just for the general face claim XD) She's rather striking and beautiful in a rather unorthodox way. Fierce, with cat-like yellow eyes which are highlighted even further by the yellow and slightly skeletal face paint she uses to help her intimidate others. Not that she needs much help in that manner. Despite her rather average and forgettable height, she commands attention and radiates an intimidating aura when she stands in a room. She has dark, course and thick curly hair which she keeps buzzed closely against her head, if not completely shaven. She is a warrior, born and bred, with a strong and powerful, thickly built frame with powerful muscles. She stands in a rigid and powerful stance, and seems almost stiff, as if she is incapable of smiling or laughter. Topping off her rather professional appearance with her weapons and armor, she seems as if she might be the kind of person who could fight anyone, with rough calloused hands and scars along her chocolate brown skin which promise she has seen her share of battles and come away alive. Personality: Ginelle was born and raised like most Redguard, expected to fight for everything from birth. She is mature, calm and collected, with a no-nonsense way of dealing with things. She can come off aloof, cold, and even harsh to those around her. She seems unobtainable at times, erecting walls between herself and others and keeping them at a strong distance. She has a rather militaristic way of talking and treating others, and seems as if she doesn't know the meaning of relax. She does seem to have a rather soft spot for children, however her 'affection' for them is probably going to consist of her teaching them how to fight or kill something. Its important to note that she, like most Redguards, does not put much faith in mages. She is a bit less fanatical than some of her kind, even allowing restoration mages to work on her in a pinch, and having the flametongue spell in her repertoire. However, she does get very uneasy around conjuration magic, and tends to dislike or be wary of those who delve down that pathway. "Fist mother" is a name which has followed her into skyrim, and she was called that when she joined up with the Dawnguard for her stint with them. Backstory: She was the eldest of four, and expected to be the example for all of them to live up to. And when her parents fell in a fight, she was also expected to help raise her younger siblings and prepare them as her parents had prepared her. She rose to the job with all of her skill and abilities, wanting to prove herself to the community and help her siblings. She raised them with such efficacy and grace that other Redguards would use her to raise their own children when they went out into battle. And before long, after raising hundreds of children into powerful warriors, she garnered the nickname 'fist mother.' Most Redguards as such hold high respect for her, especially the younger ones, who are the ones who gave her the nickname in the first place. When her only sister was killed by a clan of wandering vampires, something changed in Ginelle. She, in her fury and youth, left her life behind and moved to Skyrim to join up with the hunters of vampires, the Dawnguard along with her youngest brother. The other brother stayed in Hammerfell, taking over her position in educating the children in her place. As such, her younger brother brought her monacre 'fist mother' with him, and the Dawnguard started referring to her as such. Side by side, her brother and her worked their way up the rankings in the dawnguard, taking down vampires one by one and learning more that they were planning to eventually take back to Hammerfell when the time was right. Before long the vampires took note of Gin and her brother and made plans to draw her out. Sending out one of their eldest and most powerful members, they took Babette and sent her to lure Gin. Since Gin has a soft spot for children, the lure worked as intended and Gin ended up with Babette's teeth in her neck. Thanks to her brother, Gin ended up escaping with her life, however this is what the Vampires had wanted. Within a few weeks, Gin had fallen to the curse of the Vampire. She did her best to fight it, everything in her power to pretend it didn't exist, until she woke up with her teeth sunk into her brother's neck, having drained him of his blood. Coming in to see what she had done, a senior member of the Dawnguard sounded the alarm and set everyone after Gin to kill her. Using her newfound vampiric strength and powers, Gin managed to escape within an inch of her life. She fled across Skyrim, all while trying to find a way to break her curse. She fed on animals for as long as she could before the hunger grew too great and she had to satiate it by drinking the blood of common bandits. With each body drained she grew more powerful, but she hated herself more and more. Especially when she noticed that her body had ceased aging. She would have fallen to that shame and let it consume her, until she heard a rumor about there being a stone that she could find which would take away her curse. Needing connections and some kind of clues to help herself find this stone, Gin ended up traveling to whiterun and muscling her way through the gates and rather boldly joining the companions. Throwing in her lot with them, Gin's nickname and monacre returned to her via some visiting redguards. Unfortunately, her monacre gathered some unwanted attention in the form of Dawnguard warriors. Her new companion friends helped her take care of them, and she was forced to let them know why they had come for her. Feeling for her, and sensing her need to want to be cured, Kodlak, to Vilkas' distress swore Gin to secrecy and took her underground where he used the beast blood and Hiricine's blessing to drive the vampiric curse from her body. It was far earlier than she should have ever been turned, but with this simple gesture, Gin promised her mace and her life to Kodlak's service, vowing to never say a word about the Companions and their furry little secrets. Over time, Gin has proved herself to the guild, and finally did earn her place as a member of the inner circle in her own right. Other: -actually hates vampires -knows exactly one spell, flametongue (handy against vampires) -is more religious than she lets on and does wholeheartedly believe in the Yokudan pantheon. She even does little prayers here and there in certain situations -is rather scarred by her brother's death at her own hands -spent ten years as a vampire -worships Hiricine in the same fashion as she worships the Yokudan pantheon, has a very strong reverence for the Daedra who saved her from what she viewed as a fate worse than death -seems to have rather rigid control over her beast self, though even she can get carried away at times -her werewolf form has curly fur and several darkened scars. -Fist Mother is still a monacre which seems to have stuck and most of the companions rather affectionately call her as such.
