Roleplay

I am looking for roleplays based on the Wings of Fire books by Tui Sutherland. I am open to multiple RPs, and I am all caught up on the books, including the Lost Continent, so don’t worry about spoilers. I am open to RPing on either Pyrrhia or Pantala, or even a different setting somewhere.


Where and what I will RP:

I am willing to RP on either Flight Rising or Discord. I have no preference for which one. Please note however that I do not RP through Flight Rising messages, and if the RP is on FR it must be on a forum thread.

I’m open to pretty much any kind of WoF RP. HOWEVER, I am open ONLY to RPing as OCs. I will not consider any RPs where we roleplay canon characters. Canon characters CAN exist as side characters, but I do not like to RP them as main characters.


What I will and won’t RP:

I will RP basically anything besides nsfw. I am okay with violence, minor gore, dark themes, seriously anything except nsfw. However depending on how dark the RP gets we might have to take it to discord, depending on how dark you want it to be.

I am okay with any genre except romance. Romance is fine as a side plot, but not as the main focus of the RP. I don’t like slice of life RP as much as a good adventure plot, but I may take one slice of life RP if you must.

I am open to either group RPs or 1x1, but I prefer group RPs are kept on FR. 1x1 can be either here or Discord.

I'd love to do a WOF RP with you! I've got a handful of characters that I haven't really done anything with so this would be fun
I'd prefer 1x1 and I don't have a discord, so it'd have to be on here. Also, I haven't yet read the newest book even though I reeeeeaaally want to
I also don't really like romance as a main plot all that much, and adventure plots are always tons of fun!

A 1x1 on FR sounds good! No worries about not reading the new book yet.
Do you have any ideas about plot? Would you prefer something along the canon timeline, long before, long after, etc?

I've got a couple characters who fought in the big war, if you want we could base the RP around perhaps having characters who fought on separate sides and therefore still strongly dislike each other. Then maybe something happens where they live and they have to work together to stop them.

So kind of like following the canon timeline until book 5 and the sort of diverging from there (I forget how long after book 5 book 6 takes place) also im really bad at plots so feel free to jump in if you have a better idea

Character-wise I have: a mudwing whose sib group got killed and he fled the war, a seawing who's blind in one eye and definitely fought in the war, a nightwing I don't have much of a backstory for yet, and a sandwing someone gave me that I haven't thought of a personality or a backstory for yet whew thats long sorry

Hey! I'd love to do a 1x1 with you! I don't have discord since that always glitches out for me so we'll have to do one here. I haven't read up to the newest but my friend has basically spoiled some of it so I guess Pantala is partly playable ;-;

I like that idea! So our characters are on opposite sides of the war and dislike eachother at first, then I guess we’ll work out a plot that makes them work together lol. Maybe they get held prisoner by someone and have to work together to escape? Maybe they have to fight in Scarlet’s Arena? I’ve always wanted to do something with that.

Hello! Id' cool with doing a 1x1 with you! I haven't read the newest series (tbh, I'm not really planning on because I kinda lost interest in plot wise after the fifth book even though I've read the last five :/) I don't have any plot yet, if you're willing to discuss on that? I'm fine with both discord and FR ^^ (Discord might be better for me since its easier for me to keep track of)

I don't quite remember if Scarlet's arena is still a thing after the fifth book, but I like the idea anyways so I'd totally be down for that! The plot could basically be that they were both captured for whatever reason and they have to work together to not only break out, but also not get killed

Pyrrhia it is then! I'm not to sure if it would help with the plot but I have a dragon I'd love to try out! In summary, he's a seawing prince. So maybe a kidnapping? A universe where the palace is in ruins? Not sure.

I don’t think so, but we can make it an AU kind of idea where the arena stayed in use after Scarlet disappeared.
I think we should work out characters before making the thread. MudWings and SkyWings are allied with Scarlet, so I say our characters should be from other tribes.
