Name: Rourke
Gender: Male
Personality: Rourke is, simply put, a lone wolf. He never quite fit in growing up in the human world, and as a result he’s built up walls around him. He’s cautious when meeting new people, and it takes a while to gain his trust. He tends to keep a low profile around others, especially in groups. After all this, he
is eager to find somewhere to fit in (he once even tried to join a wolf pack), because at heart, he's tired of being alone. Once he gets attached to someone, he's protective and loyal.
While he may be quiet, Rourke couldn’t be described as shy. He doesn’t back away from conflict, rather he embraces it. It’s more familiar to him than affection; he understands it. Luckily he’s slow to anger, and fights don’t happen often.
Human form description: Rourke is a man in his early 20s, standing 5’10” tall with a wiry build. He has short, dark brown hair and bright blue eyes. His skin is tanned where his clothes don't cover it. The clothes themselves are a pair of faded blue jeans, a greyish t-shirt that was probably white at some point, and some old sneakers. He's clearly had the clothes for a while now, and they're sorely unkempt and neglected.
Werebeast form description:
Source
Rourke’s werebeast form is always feral, and he’s indistinguishable from real wolves except for his enormous size (around 3.5 feet tall at the shoulder) and distinctly unwolf-like blue eyes.
Specific Werebeast breed: Wolf, but unlike any wolf subspecies around.
Crush/Mate: N/A
Children: N/A
Kin: N/A
Advantages:
+ Skilled in his feral form (hunting, fighting, etc)
+ Shifts at will, instead of with the full moon.
+ Wiry build gives him speed and agility, especially in his feral form.
+ Feral form has all the sharp senses of a wolf (sight, smell, hearing), and his greyish fur camouflages well in the dark forest and rainforests.
+ Fast healing, since the shifting process breaks/reshapes his entire body.
Disadvantages:
- Shifting is a long and painful process, so he avoids it whenever possible.
- Human form is rarely used and thus weak.
- Could never live in the desert with his thick fur.
- Doesn’t play well with others.
- Crooked bone breaks/unclean wounds won't heal correctly and will need to be refixed, although shifting forms will usually fix this problem.
