Twilight Clan

A small clan of outcasts, residing in the mountain range of mount Nemus

following Lumen ridge in a wide circle to Mount Aurum. In the center of these mountains lies a valley covered in tall grasses filled with hidden dangers. While Mount Nemus is mostly rock and ice, it provides caves and other rock face shelters that create a well fortified home. In the summer the ice melts and some of the caves tend to flood which is usually when the clan migrates to Mount Aurum which is covered in nice greenery year round, this would make a perfect home except for the fact the the trees hold many secrets and other dangers lurk about.

The indigenous life among these two sister ranges include, squirrels, fowl, owls, fish, varying insects, fruit, and elk.

Hi guys! So I found the length, wingspan, weight to be a bit useless and changes as the dragons age. Therefore I have implemented a new system, I thought was pretty interesting and gave you guys some options as you "level"

I looked at your dragons current levels and saw they were mostly low and figured this would be fairer if we all started at the same level, with the exception of small bonuses made to different ranks.

We can use this system to fight "beast clan" enemies and so we know who's stronger/faster and such. I also mentioned abilities coming in later but plan on waiting in the rp a bit for that. The higher your manna, the stronger your ability will be if you choose to level that but wont get it until later.

Speaking of which I have started a small list of abilities/side effects they may come with, if you want something added just send me mail explaining what the ability is and a possible side effect so no one is over powered.

While today didn't seem like a very exciting day so far, Cypress kept vigilance in the top of a great oak. This vantage point gave him easy view of land and sky in the immediate area. Sun shining brightly on this unusually warm day and so far only a few minor clouds drifted across the sky here and there. It was the beginning of spring and plant life burst through the mountain ranges as if to challenge all who might oppose them. His stomach growled and Cypress grew tired of watching the uneventful horizon but he kept his eyes peeled because danger didn't usually give warning. A particularly large squirrel passed by but he fought the urge to hunt it since that was the job of the hunters and they tried not to hunt more than they would eat within a day or two, preferring fresh food over food they had stored. The leafs rustled and Cypress looked suddenly in a northern direction as the scent of one of his clan mates drifted towards him but Cypress was down wind and his clan mate wouldn't likely know he was there right away so he choose to stay hidden for the moment.

Redspring traveled through the trees in search of one of his scouts. He tried traveling their scent but, due to the wind, he wasn't able to track them with his nose. So instead he kept his ears pricked, listening for the slightest hint of any living being. He was well aware that something could possibly be stalking him, with so many trees to hide behind, but continued forward nonetheless. The weapon strapped to his side made a small clink with each movement as he stepped around fallen trees. A creature with good hearing could easily pick up on that.

Aventurine had been busy all morning, but finally she was free. After dealing with a handful of squabbles, she had finally gotten everybody settled and sent off to their daily tasks. She wasn't done, however. One of her tasks this morning had involved a couple of their youths, who could use a talk from Redspring. When she was told that he was out in the forest, she decided to go find him. She could use a flight, and things were quiet enough now. Besides, she'd be back soon enough. Landing near the woods, she plowed through with none of the subtlety of the scouts or hunters, but then she was not and never had been either.

Lillian sighed as she wrapped the last bandaged around her neck, this is what she got for adventuring to far into the forest herself wasn't it? Well like it was going to stop her, she needed supplies for her herbalism & medical mixtures and if no one else was going to collect them for her then she just do it herself. Besides, she needed certain herbals for what she'd been making and other dragons never could seem to bring back the certain plant she'd respected, she'd just do it herself, easy, no? She knew how most others would become easily angered for leaving, some would go on about how she was a healer not a fighter & blah, blah, blah, bullsh*t she know or care for in that matter... As she quietly sprawled for the den's safety, she rooted herself on a tree, using her green skin as camouflage beneath the tree's leaves as she twisted & twirled from above the group upon the branches, it was much safer up here then it was some there for sure, she felt stupid for not thinking of this before hand. She removed her staff just in case of course, while physically she was rather weak, her magically abilities where quite high compared to most for both defensive & attack.

~Feel free to add more dragons or friends who might want to join :D Cypress continued to sit in his tree as sounds of familiar clinking came into ear shot, he figured it was Redspring and the scent matched his leader but he wanted to be sure and wouldn't give up his spot in the tree before he was sure. Loud brushing of leafs, sticks, and bushes rustled as Aventurine plowed through the undergrowth making her way through the woods... Had no one the appreciation of stealth? he thought wondering what kind of creatures their noise might attract. On the other hand Lillian was the one who was quiet enough that he didn't see her twist up her tree somewhere nearby. Cypress jumped down stretching out his wings just enough to glide down and stand besides Redspring. "Greetings Redspring!" @ultimateTroller Xelth on the other hand wasn't trying to be loud but was running through the woods wildly trying to find where his Queen had run off to. Being one of her guards it was his job to keep her safe. His bright pink and purple hide made it nearly impossible for him to be sneaky or hide out here in the wild which was why he constantly trained and worked out, lean muscles rippling as he ran after his queen, finally catching up to her you could easily tell she was much larger than him. @Atilwi "You shouldn't be out her by your self, my Queen!" he protested her leaving the camp but knew he couldn't stop her. [img]http://flightrising.com/images/cms/familiar/art/361.png[/img] Smallest - Life: 25 | Defense: 1 | Attack: 5 | Stamina: 5 Largest - Life: 35 | Defense: 1 | Attack: 7 | Stamina: 6 Strongest - Life: 37 | Defense: 2 | Attack: 8 | Stamina: 7 Unbeknownst to the group they where wandering in a chimeric territory where three large beasts stalked their prey. Redspring and Aventurine being the loudest had the two biggest following them while @8BitFey Lilian had managed to climb into the tree with the smallest one unfortunately hanging above her from his branch.
