TOPIC | A World at War [Open!]

-The Eleven have abandoned us-

At least, we thought they had,
until we got a strange message. The things
we were witness to; the sights and scents
and sounds! A bloody war flashed in our
eyes that day. We have been warned. Our
future is not secure. Our world is in danger
of falling into despair and disorder. And we,
the Firsts, are the only ones who can stop
it. Some of us are still hesitant. Some still
hold grudges against the Eleven for leaving
us. Some are afraid of what fate has in store
for them. However, our order was clear;
Return Home.
Our world has succumbed to evils unprecedented.
Those who we considered our friends, family,
have fallen to this horror. With our Gods out
of sight, busied by divine troubles, the flights
have began to fight. Light now battles
Shadow for dominance over our world.
Nature and Plague stain our world red
for inheritance of Sornieth. Each and
every flight now pitted against one another.
Among all this, cults have appeared. Do
not be swayed by their charm. They are
evil, corrupt, and sadistic. Their practices
are vile. Their intentions disgraceful.
Their only wish being to stomp out all
other competitors, to take over our world
and shape it in their glory. We're unsure
of what we might find when we seek out
'Home', but most of us can agree that we're
more terrified of what we may see if things
are left unchecked. And so, our time has
come. Let us journey together. Let us fix
our broken world and secure peace for our
future!
Or, that's what we thought. It
seemed as though they had left us to fend for
ourselves, as though they no longer cared for
our well-being. It was a gloomy start. As we
watched the grass wilt, the winds cease, and
the light fade, we wondered what the future
could possibly hold for us. But there have
been those brave enough to rise in their place!
They have told us the truth. The Gods are gone,
plain and simple. But there was hope yet! They
explained that it was our turn now. Our turn to
rule Sornieth. We can make it our home and shape
it for our future children. We could breathe life into
it once more. It is unfortunate that so many yet
refuse to accept the truth that our Flight is the
best suited for the job. Why can't they see that
if it were any other, everything would fall apart?
It pains us to see our friends, our family fighting
to preserve something that is doomed to break.
We only hope they will see the truth in time.
Yet they are not the worst of our problems.
There are those who wish to stop us, to
let the world crumble to dust. They seemed to
appear from nowhere, no way to trace their
lineage. As though they had popped into
existence merely to oppose us! And so, it is
up to us to stop them from destroying what
little order we have left in this world, from
unleashing true chaos. As we seek out the
means to restore everything to it's former glory,
we must also overcome these obstacles. We must
take down those who desire to let our world die
along with all of Dragon-kind. For us, our friends,
family, children, we must stop this madness.
We must secure Sornieth for the future
of Dragon-kind!

-Plot-

You're in a library, walking down an aisle of books. None look too interesting, that is, until you pass by one left open on a table. It's old and falling apart; the open page partially stained by some drink. For some reason, you find yourself sitting down and reading a passage at random...

Almost a hundred years ago, the Eleven vanished. Those still alive back then recounted how they had flown among Dragon-kind and how they spoke with us. Now, many are starting to doubt if they ever existed in the first place.
We tried to make due without them. We continued our festivities and monthly celebrations. But everything seems to have lost it's spirit. The plants, once the pride of the Gladekeeper, have started to droop. The light shining down on us from above seemed dimmer than it had once been. The wondrous waves of the ocean have stilled and the wind no longer seemed to flow under our wings. The Beastclans have begun to best us, prey was hard to come by, and all of us were caught in the middle of misery.
Tensions seemed to rise between the flights over the years, almost as though they all blamed one another for what was happening. Fear fueled the fire for our anger. Our celebrations, once held dearly, were disregarded. Instead of celebrating the flights, we now disgraced them while worshiping our own. Cults were formed in their place, lead by those who stood up and spoke the things that we all wanted to hear at the time. They have risen and spoke of hope, of good things and a good future. The Risen told us that, to get those things, we needed to fight for them. To take the world and shape it into a better one. And of course, we listened.
Lead by our new leaders, we fought for control with every other flight. Light against Shadow, Nature against Plague. Each and every flight was against everyone else. It was a brutal and bloody.
While we fought, others, the Firsts, were lead by our old leaders. The Eleven spoke to them, telling them to return 'Home'. Those that took the call journeyed together in the search for such a place. When we heard of this, we quickly made them our enemy. Out of everyone we fought them the most, seeking out and killing Firsts even if they had chosen to stay out of it. We made their life hell.
No one is quite sure of everything that happened then. Between the Risen, the Firsts, the war and general madness, much is left unknown, but out of everything, we know that oh hai there won in the end. They had managed to baahh I'm a sheep baahh and bahhhhhh. Sornieth had BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH . The Eleven behhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

You're disappointed to find the rest of the passage stained. You flip through, trying to find some sort of conclusion elsewhere, but the book continues onto others subject instead. The interest you held for the book quickly fades and, discouraged, you begin to roam the aisles once more, soon forgetting about one of the most important times in Sornieth's history.

These dragons are the ones who have received the call from the Eleven to return 'Home'. Risen: A Risen is a dragon who fights for one particular flight to win dominance over Sornieth. They're almost always loyal to their birth flight, however some choose to fight for the element they were raised in. Note: Your dragon may be 'eccentric' in their history or lineage, however don't go too overboard with it. So long as it doesn't interfere with the rp/plot than it should be okay. Things not to do are- Don't have your dragon be related to any of the Eleven, and don't use their history as a means to give them special powers. Character List: Name: Ozmith Played by: ChibiKittens Appearance: His right hand is a bit curled inward, made so by the years of hauling a large telescope to and from a large hill outside the clan he lives in. Position: He's a First Element: Ice Personality:
Kind-
Despite his rough childhood, he has already found it easier to treat others kindly rather than hatefully. He speaks politely with others and, when he's able to, likes to dive into discussion with others when the topic is one he's interested in. Under the care of Chime, he has learned how to help his clan for the better, and when he sees a dragon fighting another, he will do what he can to stop it.
Socially Awkward-
While he can be a bit of a talker when it comes to his favorite topics, truth be told, he can go a bit overboard sometimes. Get him talking about stars and he will never stop, but talk to him about 'how well the weather is this fine day' and he'll nod lazily, often never adding much to the conversation. He'd much rather be out star-gazing than talking it up with others.
Passive Aggressive-
Many know him to be a weird, if harmless dragon. But those feelings may soon change when they find that, after upsetting him or offending him, he will often shoot glares toward the offending dragon and refusing to speak with them until met with an apology. These moments can last for weeks if not months.
Nerdy-
Stars, stars everything. Even when he meets someone for the first time he may suddenly switch the topic to the nightly beauties, listing off random facts that he finds the most fascinating. For example, while talking about something as simple as hunting or the weather, he may blurt out "Hey, did you know that the smallest stars 'live' the longest? Well that's because they-" And there he'll go, rambling to his hearts content about stars. Truly one would expect his eyes to be pink under his hood instead of whitish blue. History: His egg was brought in from the outside world one day, and from there he was born and raised in the Clan of Strong Hearts, near the end of the first monarch's rule. At the time, the condition of the clan was poor, and many made a living performing dishonest jobs or by stealing. The clan often fought with others, and as such most hatchlings were trained to fight fiercely at an early age. While he didn't enjoy it, he too was trained to fight against others. He most often used these skills not when the clan was battling, but when he was stealing. His family was one of the poorest and he was forced to steal food and clothing from others. Other hatchlings were in the same position he was in, and as such he was often left fighting them for things he needed to live. His (adoptive) parents, as kind as they were to him, could not always watch him. They never helped him when in a fight. For them, fighting another's hatchling would put them at serious risk in their own home, a risk they could not afford to take. That was when he met Omen. The little Noc didn't fight much either, but she was always there for him after the two met over a stolen lunch. He was wary, but soon realized that she was as scared as he. The two bonded quickly, tied together by their shared fear. She even helped him get a new outfit, which he still treasures to this day despite it having become a tad too tight. Whenever he was due for a fight with another, Omen would try to scare the other by mimicking various voices from around the clan, often switching one out for another and confusing or frightening hatchlings who didn't know any better. They kept up their way of life for a while. He was older, but still too young to live on his own. A new Monarch had been appointed, and while things were getting better for some, a lot were still left in poverty. A wage gap had left some rich and others still poor, and unfortunately for him he was still left without much to his name. But this would all change one day. It started out like any other, however he had happened upon a bit of good luck. Someone had foolishly left a basket of freshly made bread out to cool, and taking the rare opportunity Oz snatched it up and whisked it away. The aroma had drifted, and while he was making his way back home, another dragon stopped him. It was a brutal fight. Tooth and claw sailed between the two, and Oz quickly fell in defeat. The dragon didn't stop, however. He kept attacking Oz over and over, interesting in more than just bread. It seemed like his days were over, until a huge, dark shadow swept over the entangled two. Chime, a Guardian and the new Monarch, saved him that day, and took him to be healed. While healing, she quickly learned of Ozmith's plight as he tried leaving before he was well. He had tried going back for the bread in order to feed both his family and his friend. After that, Chime hired him as her personal assistant, and later on as her part-time astronomer and star reader. With this new life, Ozmith, Omen, and his family are now able to live comfortably. Strengths: Like all mirrors, Ozmith has exceptional speed and duration. He was trained in the art of combat, however due to his new life style he isn't as good as he once was. He can still pack a mean punch however. His strengths more lie in his knowledge of stars. With stars he is able to figure out where he is and where he needs to go. He has particularly good night vision coupled with the heat-sight that Mirrors have. Weaknesses/Fears: Even among Mirrors, he's a poor flier, often only managing to glide from place to place. His fear is that he will find himself high up, unable to fly away due to his lack of being able to. He's also very sensitive about his underside and always keeps his stomach covered should he be found in a fight, but because his right paw is a bit odd, his enemies are able to use that to catch him off guard. Other: He's childhood friends with Omen. Name: Omen Played by: ChibiKittens Appearance: Position: Aligned with the Firsts Element: Ice Personality:
Moral-
Omen would never intentionally hurt another being unless the circumstances were dire. She always obeys the rules and laws set down in any clan she is currently in, and always treats others with respect when she can, but on occasion can get to be a bit noisy and may tend to annoy those around her.
Sensitive-
The smallest things will set this Noc off. She's not very capable of keeping her emotions in check, and will easily become overwhelmed by sadness, fear, joy, anger, and all the rest of them. She's often seen twisting her head around and keeping an eye on her surroundings at all times. She easily becomes overwhelmed should anything start to get crazy or complicated, and much prefers to flee her problems rather than try to overcome them. When she meets other dragons, she easily warms up to them and will show this by fluttering around them and hitching rides off their backs.
Cowardly-
Omen is an easily frightened dragon, most often choosing to run away from anything that scares her and endangers her in any way. If she can't run than she will try hiding. The Noc will avoid new situations and experiences if they seem scary or overwhelming to her, which happens quite often. She rather prefers that others take on these new challenges for her.
Absent Minded-
She's not one for socializing, even if she could talk normally. The only thing she will keep an eye on are her surroundings, most other things quickly fading from her mind and her awareness. If she's talking with someone, she'll try to keep up in the conversation but will usually drift in and out when talking with another. She's not forgetful, per say, she's simply easily distracted from her thoughts. History: Her beginning actually starts with another. He was a Fae, born long ago in a clan now gone, and in it's place now stands the Clan of Strong Hearts. He was morally-ambiguous, often doing just what he needed to get by and not paying others too much mind. He led an average existence, but his life changed when he met Adrianna. She too was a Fae, stunningly beautiful. But more than that, he admired her toughness, something which he himself did not possess. They would meet when she approached him, a bit concerned with how he watched her train for so long. She found his shyness to be rather cute, and the two quickly took a liking to one another. They'd live together for years after. There were arguments and rough spots, but they were able to pull through every time. It couldn't last forever, though. In the night, their clan was ambushed by a rivaling clan. It was a slaughterhouse, dragons left and right being dragged from their houses and slain on their own ground. The same would happen to the Fae. He watched as his love was attacked. He was paralyzed between fear and protectiveness. He wanted to save her with all his might, but at the same time the thought of risking his life in battle shook him to his core. He gleefully thought of killing the assaulter while also being sickened by the thought of taking another's life. As he watched, another swept in, killing him before he knew what had happened. However, his tale doesn't end there. His spirit, driven by the need to stay and help his mate, awoke in an odd place. It was dark all around, and stone walls kept him in. His body had turned wispy, and the heart beat he hardly noticed was now achingly gone. He would be greeted there by a dark force. The Shade, or at least an embodiment of it, resided had felt his presence. The Shade sensed easy prey and had come to take it. Forcing it's hand into his soul, he wrestled for control, to make him shade-touched. A part of him caved in, but the other half, the one that desired power, fought back. In a bizarre show, the Fae almost seemed to rip in half as the Shade tugged at his soul and took hold of only half of it. In place of the Fae, two separate dragons now stood. A Spiral and a Nocturne. Both halves of a greater whole. One was cowardly yet moral, and desired to return to the comfort of their love. The other was power hungry and made miserable by his failure. The Shade, meanwhile, found it couldn't take control of the dragon. It didn't have enough of a soul left to be possessed. This would be the true start of Omen. Scared, frightened, and confused, the dragon searched desperately for a way home. The Spiral, using magic he hadn't had before he was split, unknowingly sent her soul back to life while also taking something important from her. When she awoke, she found her speech was taken from her. No-she found could still mimic, she would have to make due with that. Greatly flustered, she rushed home to try to find her love, ignoring the fact that her new form would go unrecognized. But when she returned, all was different. Much time had passed, and her clan had been replaced by another. She wandered, sc scared and alone, looking for Adrianna, but instead would find Ozmith. Strengths: Omen has the great talent of perfectly mimicing those she hears, and can use this to confuse others. She's very agile and a quick flier, making it hard to catch her. Her small size makes it harder to fight her in battle when she's against larger foes and she can use this also to reach places that other's cannot. Her acute senses often tell her when danger is nearby Weaknesses/Fears: Her speech is limited to the dialogue spoken by others. Her speech is sometimes choppy and because she speaks with in the voices of others, it's often hard for others to understand her. She's terribly afraid of being alone and can always be found in the company of at least one other dragon, typically Ozmith. She's has very poor fighting skills and is unable to hold her own ground in a battle. Other: She's friends with Ozmith. She can only speak by repeating words or phrases spoken by others. Name: Kai Played by: ChibiKittens Appearance: Position: A member of the Risen, she fight for Light to win. Element: Light Personality:
Caring:
Kai is the type of dragon who's guilt overpowers them if they leave a dragon in trouble even if there was something she could do to help them. If they're friends, family members, or even hatchlings besides her own as well as strangers, she often makes their troubles her troubles when helping them or trying to find a solution to their problem. When it is that she finds herself in the midst of company (which isn't too often, as she loves the peace and quiet of the woods) she will often times find herself getting roped into someone else's problem, though usually doesn't mind it unless she finds she is simply being used.
Stern:
Despite being a caring, motherly type of dragon, Kai will make it clear that she is no door mat. When making decisions she will stand by them whole-heatedly, and is rather stubborn when it comes to changing her mind when it had already been made, even if her assumptions are off or plain wrong. If she thinks that someone else is 'wrong', she may bring it up and challenge the other dragons views, often when they clash directly with her own. However she doesn't intend to be mean, and will do all she can to be polite about it, but even she can get a bit hot headed from time to time. Overall, she's the kind of dragon who will stand her ground firmly.
Observant:
Being a dragon who lives by herself in the forest most of the time, she has come to notice the little things that happen under every leaf, in every stream, in every nook and cranny of the forest. Her hearing is exceptional, and her eyes are fine tuned to notice the smaller movements of prey skittering around from here to there. This all does a 180, however, when she is confronted with large, bustling crowds of dragons. Being so used to the forest she becomes extremely overwhelmed by the bold life of it all, and finds it hard to navigate such areas without some sort of help. History: She grew up in a small clan residing in the Sunbeam Ruins. It was more of a village than a clan, a neat tidy little place that kept mostly to itself. She grew up there for a lot of her life, and had chosen the life of a hunter as she proved talented for it. It was when she was older that she met who she thought to be her life long mate, a showy Coatl who admired her beauty and elegance. They would live together, and even have two loving children together, but their relationship was strained. She wanted to remain in the forest, selling her catch to neighboring clans, but he wanted to travel to immense clans and cities. He pushed her into moving along with him, but eventually she had to stop. Such a life overwhelmed her, and she could no longer put up with his indirect bullying. Even though it pained her to do so, she left him and returned to her life in the forest, where she would soon raise a son and daughter. Her daughter was a reckless, fun loving sport, and often got into trouble. Her son, however, was another story. He admired the Shadow element and became entangled in it's history. When he was able, he moved to the Tangled Wood and would continue his studies there, hoping to one day become a teacher or even a professor on the rich history behind the land. Afterwards, when both her hatchlings had left the nest, she would continue to hunt and sell her catches to nearby clans. Occasionally she would sell her strength to others by fighting for them in clan battles, both with the goal of earning more money and to keep her physical ability in check. For the most part her life is one of happy solitude. Strengths: Agile and strong, she makes a great fighter and is able to match dragons who outclass her in size. Her calm fierceness enables her to fight efficiently and to hold her own in battle. She's a decent flier and runner, making her very able for travel to most places. Her strengths lie mostly in her physic. Weaknesses/Fears: She's a very caring dragon, and because of this she finds it hard to fight against others who she deems to be nice dragons, which often tend to be most dragons she encounters no matter which side they fight for. Her solitude has left her being bad at fighting in a group, or at most social tasks presented to her. Her fear lies in large crowds of dragons. She is easily flustered and made fearful when surrounded by many dragons even if they pose no threat to her. Other: She has two Wildclaw children. One fights for Light and the other is sided with Shadow. Name: Willow Birch Aka Rose Needle Played by: Rinjichan13 Appearance: Willow has distinct callouses on the tips of pads near her claws because of her occupation as seamstress, making clothes and fashion for other clans. Position: Traveling Seamstress; Aligned with the Firsts (though planning to join the journey to home during plot). Element: Arcane Personality:
-Patent-
Willow is nothing but a calm dragon. You will not find her jumping into anything head first or letting her emotions cloud her judgment. She sits back and observes all options before making a decision on what she needs to do. Often requiring her to pander for long periods of time, with is nothing her, especially since can sow while she thinks.
-Polite-
With both manners and grace, Willow speaks like someone of high birth. Using descriptive words, and speaking slow and steady so others can understand. She rarely cusses, founding both unladylike like and unfitting in a normal conversion. Watch out as Willow might scold you for using coarse language!
-Judgmental-
The pearlcatcher likes to put other in distinct boxes as it helps her learn how to interact with others. This can be both a good and bad thing. Making Willow decisive in who she hangs out with, however, she can come off as rude, making a strong judgment based of just you first impression and giving you little time to change her opinion.
-Stubborn-
Remember the last personality trait? Well this ties into that. Willow is often stuck in her ways, taking long periods of time to come around either to change her opinion of someone, or look at something a different way. She will fight you on decision she find unnecessary or wrong, fangs and claws. Almost to the point of arguing and pain. But if you manage to change her ways, when you do, she says in that mindset for an even longer time, so choose wisely! History: Willow was originally born in a large arcane clan, located in Starwood Strand in the Starfall Isles. The clan lived almost a town called Birchbow, which was highly metropolis for a dragon clan and had its own flourishing economy. Made of merchants, trailers, machines, jewelry, royals enthralled with politics and poor folk, friendly, but money savvy, it brought many tourist and for a while, people lived peacefully. Willow stayed with her parents, helping in the family business of making clothes for both royals and poor folk. However, nothing can stay golden forever and Birchbow couldn't stay neutral with dominance going on, so they had to choose arcane over there peaceful palace. It came under siege quickly in a fight for Dominance as a Nature clan attacked the town. Only having a few dergs, (namely the guards) who could really fight and the town become a forest of flames. Willow parents unfortunately died in that fight, but managed to keep her safe by sending her off into The Wandering Contagion in the Plague lands. With just a few books, her precious pearl and her sewing equipment, she struggled to find work and eventually found herself making rugged clothes for Mirrors. She disliked this work, not fond of styles of clothes they liked or in which the rudeness they treated her with. Often cursing her, making fun of her misfortune and pushing her around. However, despite their distasteful behavior, work was work, so she took it with the patience of slow moving snail. Then one day, when she found herself sewing yet another ugly trouser, she overheard a talk about the Eleven. Willow was never a Gods fearer, or really believed in them for that matter as they have disappeared long ago, but this conversion interested her to no end. Talking of a library and rumors that the Eleven called on the First, or first gen dragons, to come to home. Ever Curious and looking for some better work and a more dignified life, she escaped in the night one day. Running as much as her feet could take her and the soaring into the wind where the dragons would never find, leaving the finished trousers in her midst. Willow followed the trail to library, tracking traces, following more rumors among her travels, and even some more work for other clans that aligned with her sense of style, till she found the isle of books and a particular stained pages of parchment that she came for. The Eleven, she thought to herself, i have to find them with the first! After all, Willow wanted Soneith back to what it used to be, and with that, she set off to find the First. Strengths: -Willow has a remarkable ability to retain information. She can remembers patterns and words, at the drop at the hat. Making her good at various puzzles and using said information when it is of her biggest benefit. So if you need a plan or key to a puzzle kept well, tell her. -Willow is an agile flyer. She can take the sharpest turns, left off with little hovering time and dodge attacks with easy. Preferring to fight in the sky, she shoots her long range Arcane breath at her enemies, as her flight makes it easy to see them. Weaknesses/Fears: -Tying into her strength above, Though Willow is great long ranged fighter, she is considerably weaker on land. Close is not her forte and she struggles to fight off enemies with normal fangs and claws, preferably magic over brawn. Though agile in air, she is not the fastest on land, so most of fights she instigates, she tends flee or run from. -Willow actually has great fear of fire, given that is most of what she remembers when her town when up in flames. A fire ball here and there doesn’t scare her, but a river of flames, stops her in her place. Other dergs would need to shake constantly to awaken her from her frozen state. Other: - Willow knows most dragons languages from her travels; From Pearlcatcher and Imperial to Mirror, from Snapper to Wildclaw, and from Face to Coalt. The only languages she still struggles with, are Skydancers, Nocturnes, and Guardians. With Tundras, she can understand enough to communicate mildly. - Willow is a fashionista herself. She has an acute sense of fashion and constantly analyzes of her form of dress as well as others. - Willow got her nickname from the skill and beauty in which she sows with. Looking at pretty as a rose, but nimble and precise like it’s thorns or a needle. - Willow go her name because when she was just an egg, she was born under under a willow tree, and when she hatched, a new one began to sprout where her egg used to be. Name: Azmodeus, has the nickname of Deus though it is rarely used Played by: CreatureHollow Appearance: Position: First, present Leader of his home lair. Element: Arcane Personality:
- Family-Oriented:
It does not have to be by blood to be seen as family to the Tundra. He is incredibly benevolent to those he cares about, to a degree that it's enough to make a dragon ill with how sweet he is. He always puts his family first, and tends to make decisions that benefit them rather than himself.
- Defensive/Loyal:
Not so much for himself, but for those he cares about once again. He will defend them to the death, even if they don't ask of him. He will not hesitate to confront anyone who dare harms his family, even if it means it will result in a violent out come. If you manage to gain his trust, hold onto it tight and don't break it because he is the most loyal dragon in Sornieth if you give him a reason to be so.
- Manipulative:
He is not above manipulation to keep others safe- no matter who he has to manipulate. This leads him to be highly untrustworthy, regardless if you're on his side or not. To avoid this, it's best you remain on his good side and become close to the Tundra. Watch your tongue- he is not afraid of twisting your words.
- Two-faced:
He puts up a highly innocent, oblivious facade to those he could careless about. He acts dense and unable to read the atmosphere. Meanwhile, if you are considered close to the Tundra, you see he does display genuine kindness, though has a sense of brutal honesty and is highly sensitive to tone shifts in not only atmosphere but individual dragons. History: Found as an abandoned egg in Arcane territory of a lair known as the Hollowbound, Azmodeus was soon taken in and once hatched, raised by the elder dragons of the clan. He originally was to be a lair guard, but the Progenitor who had once formed the lair them self and lead the residents, had vanished without a trace. Azmodeus had then stepped up to the role of leader and was welcomed to the position. All residents of his home lair are aware of his methods and the facade he throws around, but they do not stop him from doing so- he has lead the lair into an time of peace and prosperity as he has promised when he first rose to the position- a surprising factor considering the war that rages on outside of the lair's territory. They all regard him highly and do indeed consider him family even if some of them may not act like it. He had learned from the Hollowbound seer, Melodis, about what must happen. He had then left the lair to seek the Eleven along with others who have been picked to return to the aforementioned home. He wishes for the war to end- for his families sake. His own personal thoughts on the matter of meeting the Eleven are unclear. Strengths: - Azmodeus is incredible at getting information from others. He has an easily approachable atmosphere to him, facade or true nature, and just has a feeling about him that is able to make other dragons unwind and feel relaxed. He often takes advantage of this ability to work situations out in his favor and unveil the information from the other dragon- most often they realize too late. - Like most Tundras, he has an incredible sense of smell and is able to track a scent that is several weeks old. This has lead him to be an incredible tracker and a living scent encyclopedia- he remembers every scent he has ever come across and can easily explain what the scent was from, why it smells the way it does, how he can tell the difference from other scents, and so on. Weaknesses/Fears: - His weakness is where his heart lies. He has a one-track mind and its for his home. It understandable, a leader must care for those they lead but Azmodeus takes that feeling and has heavily amplified it. It's to the point of obsession that he must keep them safe- he will do anything to keep them alive and happy. Threaten his family in any format, and he certain to find a compromise and fulfill your wishes. - He is heavily scared of being alone. This fear does indeed play a role in his earlier mentioned obsession of keeping others he cares for safe. It is highly self-destructive to Azmodeus- if he is alone for a split moment he grows incredibly restless and becomes a hollow shell of a dragon. Why this fear is so strong is unknown, but some speculate its the fact that if no one had come along and found his egg in Hollowbound territory, he would've grown up to face the elements on his own as he has no known parents. There's a good chance the fact he realizes that it was a strong possibility for that to actually to happen could play a role in how he acts. Other: - He has had a mate in the past along with two children. All of which had gone down the path of being exalted. He rarely speaks of them, though it is clear he misses them dearly. It is unclear if he hopes to see them by crossing paths with the Eleven. - Contrary to typical Tundra nature, he is incredibly aggressive and will often not hesitate to partake in conflicts if needed. - Ironic enough as he hates being alone, he decided to travel alone until he came across other going to meet the Eleven. He felt it would be better to go about it in this way, rather than drag someone else along. - If he had brought someone along it would have more than likely have been the Hollowbound scryer, Lyrick. Name: Liling Played by: Moonpelt Appearance: Position: Aligned with the Firsts Element: Wind Personality: Gentle Liling would take in the Shade into her den, which can prove to be a good and bad thing. She often believes anyone can be a good dragon, if you give them time and kindness. Sensitive Liling cannot take even the smallest insult without beginning to tear up, unless it comes from Sakiya (below). Due to her rough history, she cannot stand the sight of blood, or injury. Easily Manipulated If not with Sakiya's guidance, Liling is easy to trick if you hit her in the right spot, since her mind melts easily. She has never been a victim of manipulation before, but that is because she's hard to find without Sakiya (except in the bathroom, naturally). History: Liling lived in the Zephyr Steppes for a long period of time, until one day she came back with her first hunt. Her parents, who had adopted her, were lifeless corpses on the floor. She realized after lots of thought that they had died from the Earth flight, and went into hiding for a long time. When she came out, the entire plain was a battlefield, and she saw her sisters and brothers, who had been gone on a trip when her parents died, fighting among the ranks of the Wind flight. One by one, they all fell, every last family member she knew. She continued hiding, until one day she was found by a equally young Shadow child named Sakiya, and they both went far beyond the reaches of the war, to the Arcane territory, to study what others called alchemy, and they called magic. Strengths: Liling is quick and slender, able to fit in holes as small as a fae dragon with ease. She also has been practicing magic/alchemy, causing her to occasionally be able to cast minor spells. Weaknesses/Fears: Liling will often read a book, not noticing if she dies. She could be threatened, and begin reading out loud. She also can easily be manipulated as stated before, if not with Sakiya. In fact, you could tell her she killed someone and she would probably believe it. She is scared of fighting, due to her history. Other: Further Information: Liling is as well versed in general knowledge as Sakiya is in 'alchemy', knowing as much as possible is everything to her. Name: Sakiya Played by: Moonpelt Appearance: Position: Aligned with the Firsts Element: Shadow Personality: Gruff/Rough Sakiya prides herself on her name calling, often meaning it as a friendly greeting. For example, she often calls Liling 'banana-face'. She has a don't-you-dare-or-I'll-rip-your-flesh-off kind of attitude, usually doing this to hide her extreme kindness. However, she will rip your flesh off if you dare... Loyal This is mostly to Liling, as she never leaves those she cares about alone, and never stops hunting her enemies. She will fight forever if it means something to her friends, and does it without a second thought. Well, I mean, she thinks for days... V Sly/Cunning Sakiya loves to use her wit, often tricking her enemies into eating a thornbush, or trying to kill a hatchling. She often sets up plans for hours, staying in her study for days before even starting anything. History: Sakiya lived in the Wispwillow Grove alone, one minute a mercenary, the other a innocent witness. She had a great time, until one day she saw light for the first time. Gleaming dragons with armor made of the stars, were approaching her with blazing swords held high. Sakiya ran, and ran until she bumped into a battle between the Plague and Nature flights. She ran for years and years, until she finally met Liling and developed her gruff attitude. Strengths: Sakiya as mentioned has lots of cunning, and can occasionaly conjure up spells. Weaknesses/Fears: Sakiya doesn't take to insults kindly, often reckless when confronted. She can over-think, causing things to seem harder than they are, and she fears extreme amounts of light, being a Shadow dragon and all. She also flinches at the sight of war, due to her history. Other: Further Information: Sakiya is well-tuned with alchemy, and is just one year older than Liling. Name: Silamich Possum, Salem Played by: Ragnaroc Appearance: She has a third smaller set of wings like the second set, that appear just before the black lace, about two and a half, three feet from the second set. Position: She is really just looking for her parents. War makes orphans if the other profiles have not made that clear. Element: Earth Born Witch, Wind Grown, but a Priestess of Water Personality: Salem is a little sweetie. She is very docile and highly curious. She works well in groups and enjoys the company of friends however is creative and intuitive enough to strike out on her own. History: You know that legend about that hero, the Firsts they call them. The Chosen Ones. They say some have bi-colored eyes, were born under X stars and have ___ blood-types!! There is a Prophecy or some jazz maybe, rumors yanno? Well.....Salem was Almost that person. I decided the rest was way to long, ask her if you want to know. Strengths: Salem is a witch, just like her mother and father. Her blood is what she is using to find them. She is very good at making cures and curses, salves and ailments and potions. Offense? She is a Witch not a Mage, Not an Alchemist. She makes herbal concoctions, draw on earth, reads tarot and such. She does not launch fireballs and very rarely does she have anything close to a bomb on her. She does not buff via song like bards. Her craft is small and specialized but good at what it does. What it doesn’t do is fight you live battles. It wins battles Slowly by poisoning the entire town or weakening the mind.. Long Distance Flight. Salem has unusually large wings and glide for many miles with only a few beats, a good gust and a high thermal. Kindred spirit. Salem gives off a natural aura of kindness. It is hard to want to punch her in the face. A Priestess's gifts. She can heal you if she finds untainted water to do it with. Untainted water is any water not steeped in pestilence or evil aura, all streams, rivers and brooks are untainted water. Weaknesses/Fears: Salem fears dying before she can reach her parents. It is a big scary world out there and she really just hopes she can find them before its too late. Salem is also Terrified of things with lots of eyes. Might be weird but if something has more eyes then it should...wigs her the flip out. She also doesn’t like holes in living things. Freaks her out but is more manageable then eyes. As far as weaknesses She has really stumpy legs so she can’t run fast and because her wings are so large she needs space to fly though is agile when she gets too. This makes her all but useless underground or in tight alley ways. She doesn’t have much in the way of offensive abilities for this reason also, not like you can swing a sword or throw a dagger with stump legs. She does have rather sharp teeth if you get in snake range of her.... Size Matter. She is a Medium sized dragon so Guardians, Imps, Ridges, even mirrors are scary for her. She can’t really fight on a heated battle field outside her normal dragon abilities to bite and breath water. Other: She is afraid of carrion birds, takes them as a bad omen. Salem loves sweets and cute rocks, escpailly if either are smooth. Her family is Large including her mother and father, Clan Alabaster of Rangaroc, The Tidelord and a brief hat tip to the Earth Shaker. She counts the stars among her friends and talks to the planet whenever she is down or worried. Couldn't decide is this was a strength or a weakness it’s either or both dependents. I did say she was a Water Priestess. She is depending on the clan alliances that can hurt or arm. Yes she can bless you but Yes persons that do not like Water will probably raise claw faster against you. Familiars: She has two, a large beetle twice her size. His name like all my beetles is G’dar and he is rarely out but can be used for transport and supply luggage as well as combat if the need arrises. Turkey ghost about the size of a male fae. His name is Dorthy and he can run through walls, he is not very bright. Salem can summon the turkey from a small jar she keeps on her, a mason jar. The beetle is also summoned via an artifact you can see it on her dragon but imma not tell you what it is. Summons take LOTS of effort and energy to bring onto a field, Fighting with a summon is mentally Exhausting. Keeping one out for smaller more mundane things liek carrying you, not such a problem. Name: Smaug Played by: CrestaGamer Appearance: Position: Risen Element: Shadow Personality: Smaug is a loyal defender. He fights for what is important to him and for what he believes is right. Though his loyalty can blind him, his heart is pure in its intentions. He comes off as an unfeeling brute, but a certain dragoness wormed her way into his heart of thorns, helping to show others that there was a warmth on the other side of his ferocity. History: Smaug knew best how the Shadow and Light flights never quite got along. As the world felt to be dying around them, hostilities were quickly growing stronger between the clans of the flights. Despite whatever was happening with hostile attitudes and slights, the Shadow dragon had a deep secret. Flying to a special meeting spot on the shores of a passive Water clan's territory, Smaug met with his secret. A beautiful Light dragoness, named Rivera. Her beauty was second to none, and her kindness to everyone was unfathomable to him sometimes. She being the daughter of a Light clan's leader and he being a Shadow clan's defender that was at odds with her clan, their affections would be scorned by those who valued the purity of blood and loyalty to one's birth. But neither of them cared, for they had their secret meetings. One night when they met though, Rivera had a wonderful surprise for Smaug. The leader of the Water clan had allowed Rivera to nest, and she presented Smaug with two eggs. Even though they would be born in the Tidelord's domain, the pair couldn't be happier. Though their happiness was short lived. A runner for the Light clan Rivera was born to followed her at the request of her father, as he was concerned for where his daughter could be flying off to all the time when there were suitors from other Light clans coming to try and win her favor and be her mate; of course a political standing for him since the joining of another clan would strengthen his clan should war break out against the Shadow clans. The runner revealed to Rivera's father that she had been seeing a Shadow dragon and that she was coveting two eggs. Outraged, her father set out to bring her home at once. The pair was unprepared when her father's defenders descended on them. Smaug was brutalized while he fought to reach his mate, but her father was ruthless. He made Smaug watch as he took a vicious bite at her throat and cast her into the waters to die. Her body sunk and with a rage broiling his blood, Smaug slew all he could reach. Rivera's father and half of his party ran, and Smaug was left to his misery. In the struggle, the precious eggs Rivera had lain for him were damaged and cracked. Even he could tell that their lives were lost... He lamented to the heavens, and then he felt the utter loneliness as none of the Eleven gave him comfort. The Tidelord had sat by and allowed such a travesty to happen in his domain, the Shadowbinder had done nothing to help him protect his mate and eggs, and the Lightweaver had allowed a clan from his domain act in such a way against innocents. A brutal bloodlust grew in Smaug's broken heart... The Eleven had forsaken him, and the rest of the world. No matter what, now, Smaug would be certain that the Light would be consumed by Shadow. His own spec of light was gone, and he was lost. Strengths: *Physical Prowess and experience in battle *A drive to fight his battles for the injustices done to him, the Eleven are dead to him and he will strive to make the world great again, in the blessed embrace of Shadow. Weaknesses/Fears: *Smaug becomes powerless where nests are concerned, he cannot threaten the live of a hatching or those that have yet to hatch. Above anything, he values the children. *Ever since he had been surprised by Rivera's clan, Smaug has a fear of being out in the open. He will hide in the shadows and not rest unless he is certain that no one can sneak up on him. *He will never allow another Dragoness to be close to him. After losing Rivera and his eggs, he sooner attacks a female that tries to make advances rather than chance another loss like he felt that night. Other: What Smaug doesn't know is that his family is alive and in hiding. The leader of that particular water clan, Sapphira, nursed Rivera back to health and tended her wounds while the best brooders in the clan looked after the eggs. They had been badly damaged, yes, but their healer, Farore, would never let an innocent life die in such a way. The hatchlings were small and weak, but they lived. And completely uncharacteristically, Smaug will roll around and play with hatchlings. He has a fondness for children and is great with handling them. He mourns still though, for the ones he 'lost'. Name: Drake Played by: Nick462 Appearance: Drake is a mostely green dragon, which is perfect for stealth in thick bush. He wear simple clothes, perfect for adventuring. Position: Allies with the First. Will be tagging along with them to help them out. Also for the adventure. Element: Water Personality: -The Everydragon- Drake dosen't see himself as superior to most dragons. He knows he has flaws, and makes mistakes, and always try's his best to fix them. He doesn't go fortune hunting for glory, fortune, or recognition (ok, maybe a bit for fortune). He goes for the fun of it, and for learning about the past. -Kind/Loyal- Drake is extremely kind and loyal to the ones he cares about. He would risk his life on any occasion for them. -Adrenaline Junkie- He knows the life he chose is dangerous, but this doesn't deter him. The dangers of his work is why he loves it. This kinda makes him a adrenaline junkie. This has caused him to be callous and somewhat have a sadistic disregard for his adversaries and kills without remorse, albeit in self-defence, though it can be seen as cold. -Merciful- However, he is completly against cold-blooded executions and killing defenceless enemies, which is why he dislikes the Risen. He would even sometimes offer them help. -Humorous- Drake's most prominent trait is his dry humour, even in dangerous situations. This can cause him to appear unprofessional. He is often sarcastic aswell. No one knows where this humour came from, as he keeps it to himself. -Smart- Drake is very good at solving puzzles and following clues However, at times, he does mess up. History: Drake was the only hatchling born in the nest of his parents, so he was often seen as special. However, with no other hatchlings to play with, beacause of the complete lack of them, he often left the nest to go out exploring. This was the start of his adventurous attitude. As he grew older, he often researched from books he found while scavenging about Sornieth's past. He found many stories of ancint cities, legends, artifacts, and the elemental deities. When he was fully grown, he decided to leave his parents, and search the world for the many artifacts and lost cities he found out about. However, the biggest reason he left was to solve the mystery of the vanishment of the elemental deities. Where did they go? Why did they go? These are the questions that fill his mind. Strengths: -Drake is an exceptional climber. He is able to climb cliffs, structures, and mountains without the need for safety equitment. If he can't fly, he carries a rope in his pack. -Drake has been able to do something quite special. He is able to fire magic bullets out of his peral. It basically acts like a gun. This took him a long time to master, or even get to work. -Drake seems to have luck on his side. He always seems to get himself out of the craziest situations. -Drake is quite skilled in claw to claw combat, and is able to take down most enemies. However, he isn't a professional fighter, often fighting by instinct. Weakness/Fears: -With his good luck, Darke also seems to have extreme bad luck to balance it out. Things always seem to go wrong. Basicly, everything he touches turns to s word. -He has a phobia of commitment. He is willing to get close to others but at the same time distancing himself repeatedly because of his passion. This often makes him question his life choices, and can sometimes make him make the wrong choice. Other: On his adventures, he found a wounded Skydancer dragon named Snowflake. He felt sorry for her, and he helped her get better. Unknown to him, she was a member of the Risen in the shadow flight. However, they grew a strong connection to each other as they stayed together. This made Snowflake decide to leave the Risen, and join Drake on his adventures. They have been partners ever since. Name: Snowflake Played by: Nick462 Appearance: A female Skydancer with the colors of ice. At first glance, she looks like an ice dragon, but, she has purple eyes. So she is from shadow. She wears aviator cloths that say that she is a flyer. Position: Once was part of the shadow Risen, but now goes were Drake goes. So she is an ally of the Firsts. Element: Shadow Personality: -Loyal- Beacause of the kindness Drake showed her, she now follows him and helps him as best she can. She will fiercely protect dragons she trusts. -Flirty- Our dragons often say she is very beautiful. She uses this to her advantage, and sometimes will be flirty with others to get what she wants. Some say this is manipulation, but Snowflake says there's no harm done since she never puts others in danger for her own gain. She has no love interests at the moment. -Intelligent- Snowflake is quite the intelligent dragon. She sometimes has to correct Drakes mistakes. She is more of a quick thinker, finding options quickly. -Depressed- She tries to hide this trait as best she can. She doesn't like talking about her dark past to anyone, not even Drake. She hopes finding the deities might help her get past this. History: Ever since she was born, Snowflake's life has been a hard one. Her parents were from different flights, ice and shadow. Which is extremely rare to see since the Risen ban multi-flight breeding. She was born in the Tangled Wood, so her eyes are purple. Even when she was born, she was not safe. Risen soilders soon found out her parents, and killed them both, right in front of her. They decided to take her in to turn her into a solider. As she grew, she learned countless different flight maneuvers, and even made some of her own. She practiced every day, and soon became one of the greatest fliers in the land, and was often praised. However, she never felt comfortable with this. She always felt like an outcast in the Risen camps. She never liked how they treated other flights, but she dared not say it. She tried to avoid as much battles as possible, coming up with excuses. However, she was forced into some, and she will never forget those moments in battle. Later, as other Risen watched her fly, they noticed something strange. As she flew, she always left a trail of snow and ice behind her. Another strange thing was that when others stood near her, they felt a strange coolness which seemed to come from her. They decided to do some studies on her, and what they found out astonished them all. She had the power to conjure ice and snow. This must be because she has a genetic mutation. She has the eyes of a shadow dragon, but had the powers of an ice dragon, enhanced powers. At first, dragons saw her as an outcast, a mutant. But they soon came to the realization that they had a dragon who could create blizzards on their side. They soon decided to exploit her powers for their own gain. Luckily, Snowflake found out of their plan. She was heart broken. She never saw the risen as nice dragons, but she never thought they would go this far. They didn't see her as a dragon, only as a tool. They had crossed the line, and so she decided to escape. During her escape, she was shot by an arrow on her leg by pursuers trying to bring her down. She pulled it out and kept on going. After about an hour of flying, she lost them, She fell to the ground from exhaustion. She thought she would die there, and laid down and waited for her fate. Soon, a green Peralcatcher, Drake, came to her aid and helped heal her wound. He showed her kindness she never thought was possible. She soon grew a connection to him, not of love, but friendship. Knowing she had nowhere else to go, she tagged along with him on his journey. To this day, the two are still together. Strengths: -Snowflake is a spectacular flier. Able to do all kind of flips, expert evasive maneuvers, and fly at fast speeds. She is often called the most graceful, and deadly dragon in the air. -Because of her mutation, Snowflake has the power to conjure up ice and snow at will. From ice shards, to chilling winds, to snow storms, you name it. -She can resist extrem cold temperatures. Weaknesses: -She hates the heat, a lot. -Because of her leg injury, she has a hard time landing. So she spends most of the time in the air. -She is quite frail, and is not a claw to claw fighter. -She has the fear of others finding out about her past. Especially since she was once a Risen. Other: She has a Frostbite Hummingbird named Snow Streak as a famillier. Name: Rivera Played by: CrestaGamer Appearance: Position: Rivera's focus is to find her lost mate while caring for her hatchlings, if she can stop some battles along the way, then she will. She is also more on the side of the Firsts. Element: Light Personality: Rivera is the sort of dragon where unless you harm her or one she loves, she will welcome you with a warmth and kindness that only the purest souls know how to give. After a troubled past, her kindness comes with a hesitancy presently. She is slow to trust others given a betrayal within her family, but once she knows that you mean no harm to her or her small family, she will treat you as one of her own. She is by no means a gentle flower though, she knows how to defend herself and her young if it would come down to it. She isn't the best fighter, but she can hold her own one-on-one or against smaller opponents. She is a smothering mother. Her two hatchlings, Sapphire and Garnet, were small and weak when they hatched, and only by the help of a powerful healer did they survive. She coddles them and if anything threatens her babies, they had better be ready for a big ol' can of Imperial whup-***!! History: Rivera was raised as a prized daughter. She was the last to hatch of the last clutch this specific Light clan's leader would have. Her father doted on her every needs and she could most likely get away with murder from how her father frequently turned a blind eye. And it was her father's blindness that lead to her exploring and eventually coming into contact with a striking male Imperial from a neighboring Shadow clan. His very being bled a sense of dominance and 'I'll kill you in one bite', but she wasn't put off. Rather, she sought to befriend him. After several chaste meetings, she offered her heart and loyalty to him as a mate and they were happy together; even though they had to sneak about. Her father was clueless to her goings on, he would still set up suitors for her to meet with. One in particular would have won her over had she not already given herself to Smaug. He was a striking Light dragon! Heir to a neighboring clan, and he knew how to respect a female of power. But it wasn't fated for them. With this rejection though, her father grew suspicious. All of her other clutch-mates had been mated and proudly did their duty to strengthen ties throughout all the Light clans, why was Rivera denying every suitor? Especially the ones he personally picked! He knew his youngest well and the suitors he sought out, he was certain would make her happy. But still she turned them away! It was then when he noticed her flying off every spare chance she had. He summoned a lowly runner who had just grown into his wings and sent him off to follow her and bring back news of what his daughter was up to. He had his fears that she had found a mate outside of the ones he had chosen for her, Lightweaver forbid she be mated to another species or flight!! But when he found out was much worse... The enemy. At first, her father had been happy to hear that she was seeing another Imperial, but upon hearing that it was of the Shadow clans he was furious! AND that she had delivered that slimy creature's clutch! Rivera's father was NOT going to stand for such a disgrace! Rivera was happily curled around her clutch with Smaug while her father was rallying a party together to go to her. When she was roughly pulled away from her nest, she was more than surprised to see her Father. She tried to beg and plead and reason with him to spare Smaug and her eggs, but it was pointless. Smaug was doing his best to protect himself and their unhatched babies, but there were so many of them! When Rivera went to help, that is when her father struck; a vicious bite to her neck that left her reeling. He threw her into the waters nearby and when she felt someone grab her, her first instinct was to lash out; but she was too weak and stunned. Whomever had her pulled her down into the cool calm waters of the Sea of a Thousand Currents to a safe nest hidden in a cave in the reefs. Rivera gasped and fought for every breath as she bled, she could hear and see the blurred silhouettes of dragons running about her but she couldn't make anything out clearly. Before she lost consciousness, she heard a lamenting cry that chilled her to the very marrow of her bones. It was a cry filled with such hurt and rage, and she knew it belonged to her mate. When Rivera awoke, she was greeted by a Guardian dragon that had a hatchling climbing about her forepaws while she hummed deep in her throat to the young one. The dragoness had an aura of power and authority, but watching her with her baby put Rivera at ease, until a stab of pain lacerated her heart. What had happened to her babies? She winced and let out a low growl, the sound catching the attention of the Guardian. It was then that the Guardian explained what had happened in the days Rivera had been unconscious. Unrest had grown all across the realms, and there was a pull to travel to someplace that she could only call 'home'. Sapphira, the Guardian, set her young in its nest; and it was alone, which surprised Rivera. She hadn't often heard of clutches that consisted of a single egg and wondered then if something had happened to the others or if it was just an ill omen. Sapphira lead Rivera to a separate room in the expansive home of her clan, the Water dragon seemed to accept anyone from any flight as long as they were open of heart and mind. Rivera was taken to an area littered with nests and there was an elegant Wildclaw tending to all of them. Upon seeing Rivera, the Wildclaw's expression turned grim. Introduced as Farore, she was the healer that had brought Rivera away from the cold clutches of death; and helped keep her eggs alive. Rivera let out a mournful keen as she saw the state of her eggs. The one was so badly cracked she wondered how it was even still whole. The other had a dent in the top along with the many cracks. With a protective instinct she curled around her babies and thrummed a loving purr against their delicate shells to let her young know that she was there, everything would be fine now. Rivera stayed with the Water clan and incubated her eggs. She rarely left them at all unless it was absolutely necessary. Sapphira would have food delivered to her and Farore helped keep a close eye on the health of the eggs. Soon enough, they hatched. A daughter first, a son second. They were as dark as their sire, but the girl had brilliant blue wings. In honor of the matriarch of the clan that saved their lives, Rivera named her daughter Sapphire. Her son was almost completely black, but he had bits of red from his father; and because he was just as precious as a jewel she gave him the name Garnet. They were both small and Rivera grew even more protective of them as they started their weak lives. Her instincts ruled her, and she would even growl a threat to Farore if she came too close without informing Rivera of her intentions. She was jaded to a point. Her father had betrayed her. Someone she trusted with her life was so quick to try and end hers and her unborn babies'. Her soul was wounded as badly as her heart at the injustice done. She would have turned her back on the Eleven had Sapphira not been there throughout her stay speaking kind words and being a reasoning voice. The Eleven hadn't abandoned them... they couldn't have helped at the time and that's the way it was meant to be. Rivera didn't understand and she was still hurt at the fact that the deed had happened, but she trusted Sapphira as it was she who saved her and her babies. She owed her life to the Guardian, and she wouldn't soon forget it. Once her hatchlings were old enough to travel (Or at least ride on her back) Rivera made her leave from the safety of the Water clan. She needed to find her mate. She couldn't explain the feeling, but she felt as if he was lost in a darkness that no light could reach. She needed to find him, and save him. Strengths: *When it comes to defending her young and those she considers family, Rivera will fight with a strength that is fueled fully by her emotions and resolve. *Her kindness is a gateway to positive interactions with those she meets along her way. She might be wary, but she is still kind to any soul. (Unless it's someone from her birth Clan.. then not even the Eleven can save them from her wrath.) Weaknesses/Fears: *Her worst fear is the death of her young, and they are her greatest weakness. If their lives are ever in jeopardy, she will submit or charge; regardless of her own well-being. Her focus is purely on keeping Sapphire and Garnet alive in her search for Smaug. *She fears that her Father will learn that she is still alive and set out to kill her again. *She has a weakness in her kindness. Even though she is a little wary of others, her kindness leaves her open to attacks. Other: The only family Rivera counts is her young, Sapphire and Garnet, and her mate Smaug. She remains close to the Water clan Sapphira leads and is leaning towards following their clan to the 'home' if her quest in finding Smaug is a failure.

Character List:

Name: Ozmith
Played by: ChibiKittens
Appearance: His right hand is a bit curled inward, made so by the years of hauling a large telescope to and from a large hill outside the clan he lives in.

13727975_350.png

Position: He's a First
Element: Ice
Personality:
Kind-
Despite his rough childhood, he has already found it easier to treat others kindly rather than hatefully.

Name: Omen
Played by: ChibiKittens
Appearance:
23187158_350.png

Position: Aligned with the Firsts
Element: Ice
Personality:
Moral-
Omen would never intentionally hurt another being unless the circumstances were dire.

She wandered, sc
scared and alone, looking for Adrianna, but instead would find Ozmith.
Her acute senses often tell her when danger is nearby
Weaknesses/Fears: Her speech is limited to the dialogue spoken by others.

Name: Kai
Played by: ChibiKittens
Appearance:
6279521_350.png

Position: A member of the Risen, she fight for Light to win.
Element: Light
Personality:

Name: Willow Birch Aka Rose Needle
Played by: Rinjichan13
Appearance: Willow has distinct callouses on the tips of pads near her claws because of her occupation as seamstress, making clothes and fashion for other clans.

8963663_350.png

Position: Traveling Seamstress; Aligned with the Firsts (though planning to join the journey to home during plot).
Element: Arcane
Personality:
-Patent-
Willow is nothing but a calm dragon.
History:
Willow was originally born in a large arcane clan, located in Starwood Strand in the Starfall Isles.

Strengths:
-Willow has a remarkable ability to retain information.
Weaknesses/Fears:
-Tying into her strength above, Though Willow is great long ranged fighter, she is considerably weaker on land.
Other:
- Willow knows most dragons languages from her travels; From Pearlcatcher and Imperial to Mirror, from Snapper to Wildclaw, and from Face to Coalt.

Name: Azmodeus, has the nickname of Deus though it is rarely used
Played by: CreatureHollow
Appearance:

11886277_350.png

Position: First, present Leader of his home lair.
Element: Arcane
Personality:

Strengths:
- Azmodeus is incredible at getting information from others.

Weaknesses/Fears:
- His weakness is where his heart lies.

Other:
- He has had a mate in the past along with two children.

Name: Liling
Played by: Moonpelt
Appearance:

20830276_350.png

Position: Aligned with the Firsts
Element: Wind
Personality:

Gentle
Liling would take in the Shade into her den, which can prove to be a good and bad thing. She often believes anyone can be a good dragon, if you give them time and kindness.

Sensitive
Liling cannot take even the smallest insult without beginning to tear up, unless it comes from Sakiya (below). Due to her rough history, she cannot stand the sight of blood, or injury.

Easily Manipulated
If not with Sakiya's guidance, Liling is easy to trick if you hit her in the right spot, since her mind melts easily. She has never been a victim of manipulation before, but that is because she's hard to find without Sakiya (except in the bathroom, naturally).

History:
Liling lived in the Zephyr Steppes for a long period of time, until one day she came back with her first hunt.
Other:
Further Information: Liling is as well versed in general knowledge as Sakiya is in 'alchemy', knowing as much as possible is everything to her.

Name: Sakiya
Played by: Moonpelt
Appearance:

20736851_350.png

Position: Aligned with the Firsts
Element: Shadow
Personality:

Gruff/Rough
Sakiya prides herself on her name calling, often meaning it as a friendly greeting. For example, she often calls Liling 'banana-face'. She has a don't-you-dare-or-I'll-rip-your-flesh-off kind of attitude, usually doing this to hide her extreme kindness. However, she will rip your flesh off if you dare...

Loyal
This is mostly to Liling, as she never leaves those she cares about alone, and never stops hunting her enemies. She will fight forever if it means something to her friends, and does it without a second thought. Well, I mean, she thinks for days... V

Sly/Cunning
Sakiya loves to use her wit, often tricking her enemies into eating a thornbush, or trying to kill a hatchling. She often sets up plans for hours, staying in her study for days before even starting anything.

History:
Sakiya lived in the Wispwillow Grove alone, one minute a mercenary, the other a innocent witness.
Other:
Further Information: Sakiya is well-tuned with alchemy, and is just one year older than Liling.

Name: Silamich Possum, Salem
Played by: Ragnaroc
Appearance:

3682217_350.png

She has a third smaller set of wings like the second set, that appear just before the black lace, about two and a half, three feet from the second set.

Position: She is really just looking for her parents. War makes orphans if the other profiles have not made that clear.

Element: Earth Born Witch, Wind Grown, but a Priestess of Water

Personality: Salem is a little sweetie.

Strengths:

Salem is a witch, just like her mother and father.

Weaknesses/Fears:

Salem fears dying before she can reach her parents.

As far as weaknesses

She has really stumpy legs so she can’t run fast and because her wings are so large she needs space to fly though is agile when she gets too.

Other:
She is afraid of carrion birds, takes them as a bad omen.

Name: Smaug
Played by: CrestaGamer

Appearance:

21198065_350.png

Position: Risen

Element: Shadow

Personality:
Smaug is a loyal defender.

History:
Smaug knew best how the Shadow and Light flights never quite got along.

Strengths:
*Physical Prowess and experience in battle
*A drive to fight his battles for the injustices done to him, the Eleven are dead to him and he will strive to make the world great again, in the blessed embrace of Shadow.

Weaknesses/Fears:
*Smaug becomes powerless where nests are concerned, he cannot threaten the live of a hatching or those that have yet to hatch.

Other:
What Smaug doesn't know is that his family is alive and in hiding.

Name: Drake
Played by: Nick462
Appearance: Drake is a mostely green dragon, which is perfect for stealth in thick bush. He wear simple clothes, perfect for adventuring.

23198210_350.png

Position: Allies with the First. Will be tagging along with them to help them out. Also for the adventure.
Element: Water
Personality:

-The Everydragon- Drake dosen't see himself as superior to most dragons.

Strengths:
-Drake is an exceptional climber.

Weakness/Fears:
-With his good luck, Darke also seems to have extreme bad luck to balance it out.

Name: Snowflake
Played by: Nick462
Appearance: A female Skydancer with the colors of ice. At first glance, she looks like an ice dragon, but, she has purple eyes. So she is from shadow. She wears aviator cloths that say that she is a flyer.

24177864_350.png

Position: Once was part of the shadow Risen, but now goes were Drake goes. So she is an ally of the Firsts.
Element: Shadow
Personality:
-Loyal- Beacause of the kindness Drake showed her, she now follows him and helps him as best she can.

Strengths:
-Snowflake is a spectacular flier.

Weaknesses:
-She hates the heat, a lot.

Name: Rivera
Played by: CrestaGamer

Appearance:

4453042_350.png

Position: Rivera's focus is to find her lost mate while caring for her hatchlings, if she can stop some battles along the way, then she will. She is also more on the side of the Firsts.

Element: Light

Personality:
Rivera is the sort of dragon where unless you harm her or one she loves, she will welcome you with a warmth and kindness that only the purest souls know how to give.

History:
Rivera was raised as a prized daughter.

Strengths:
*When it comes to defending her young and those she considers family, Rivera will fight with a strength that is fueled fully by her emotions and resolve.
*Her kindness is a gateway to positive interactions with those she meets along her way. She might be wary, but she is still kind to any soul. (Unless it's someone from her birth Clan.. then not even the Eleven can save them from her wrath.)

Weaknesses/Fears:
*Her worst fear is the death of her young, and they are her greatest weakness.

Other:
The only family Rivera counts is her young, Sapphire and Garnet, and her mate Smaug. She remains close to the Water clan Sapphira leads and is leaning towards following their clan to the 'home' if her quest in finding Smaug is a failure.

-Character and Ping List Continued- -Character List- Name: Janus Played by: Eumilax Janus is fairly small for a Nocturne. While he’s not the smallest dragon the world has ever seen, he’s a good handful of points below the average length and weight for his breed. Position: Neutral, Thief Element: Lightning Personality: Self-Serving While Janus isn’t an entirely uncaring dragon, he will nearly always put his own needs before anyone else’s. If he’s going to help anyone, either he knows he’ll get something out of it or he’s already taken care of his own business. Outspoken Janus is not shy when it comes to his feelings on any subject, and will not hesitate to make his thoughts known. He really can be a reasonable dragon, and does not go out of his way to be rude or abrasive, but he will not hesitate to call anyone out for something they have done, or to outright disagree with something he’s not completely behind. Likewise, he is not the type to manipulate or mislead people, and will usually be completely honest when it comes to his intentions (unless it’s a life-or-death, or at least a life-or-severe-buttkicking, sort of situation that he can somehow lie his way out of, of course). Tidy Surprisingly, Janus is able to keep his lair neatly organized, sorting out his loot in neatly folded and stacked piles of clothes, treasure, and miscellany. His cleanliness is reflected in his personal hygiene and the way he dresses. Though he does not wear much aside from what is most practical, he always makes sure his appearance is well-kept. He was like this way ever since he was a child, making sure even his loved ones were clean and well put-together, as much a show of affection as a means to satisfy the discomfort he has with disorganization. History: Janus is entirely disinterested in the war, at least when it comes to fighting. When his clan pledged allegiance to the Risen and began preparing for all-out war against their neighboring Flights, the young dragon wanted no part. Truth be told, he was more afraid than anything—small for a Nocturne, he knew there was no way he could survive in a clan that thirsted for blood. So, despite his fear for his loved ones’ lives, he ran away. Years now passed, he has been living in Shadow territory on his own, the dark and secluded forests a perfect setting for the path he has chosen in life. What he lacks in strength and size he makes up for in speed and cunning, and has survived thus far on an incredible talent for weaseling out of conflict, blending back into the woods as easily as he slipped out of them. What seems like forever ago, Janus lost faith the Eleven, the Risen, and anything in between. To this day, he has isolated himself from all of the causes and effects, rights and wrongs of the war at hand. It’s not the struggle for power that concerns him in this conflict: it’s the corpses. For all the weight of the blood spilled on the battlefield, there is twice the amount of riches to be collected, provided one is quick enough about it. Janus makes his living by keeping track of battles both near and far from his home, watching from the shadows, and making his move when the timing is right. When the battle is over and he has made his escape, he returns to his small, solitary hideout in the Tangled Wood, full of riches from clothing, to books, to jewelry and trinkets, either keeping them for himself or selling them for a profit. It’s not the most luxurious life a dragon could have, but Janus is perfectly happy with the freedom that comes with it. While he has no personal interest in taking any sides (though he does still occasionally take some sad time to remember his old clan), Janus will do anything for anyone if there’s some benefit to him. It’s not unheard of for dragons that discover his talents to threaten or bribe him into doing work for them… Strengths: Quick and Stealthy Thanks to his naturally small frame, Janus has an easier time slipping through the cracks than many other unfortunate dragon’s he may or may not have left behind in the past. He is incredibly quick and nimble, and can scope out an escape route from nearly anything he doesn’t want to deal with. Strong-willed When Janus really, really believes in something or someone, he won’t give up on it no matter what. Unfortunately, thanks to his self-isolation, it’s been a long time since that something or someone has been anything other than himself, or the money he makes doing what he does best. Weaknesses/Fears: Scrawny Janus can’t put up much of a fight on his own, as he’s learned the hard way from some of his less successful attempts at pickpocketing (and some more embarrassing experiences as a child). Though he can out-maneuver almost anything in his path, once he’s caught, the best he can do is maybe chuck a jolt of lightning magic and pray. Trust Issues Janus has trouble relying on other dragons, and chooses not to do so as much as he can help it. If he has to work with others, he is suspicious of his comrades more often than not, keeping an extra lookout for manipulation or foul play. Though he recognizes there are times when working with others, especially stronger dragons, is beneficial or even downright necessary, he will always keep a keen eye on saving his own skin, and will not hesitate to bail on a group he does not fully trust at the first sign of trouble, no matter how much they may need him around. Fears Janus’s biggest fear is getting hurt—or worse. Being of meager size, he knows how dangerous getting seriously hurt would be for him, and will avoid physical conflict at all costs. Dragons of large stature and obvious strength make him nervous, and anything that impedes his ability to run away in a risky situation will make him outright panic. Other: Familiar Janus’s most trusted ally is a crow that he befriended in the shadowy woods. While his familiar is not constantly with him, the bird will always return to him when he calls, and always seems to have one eye on him as he does his own bird thing. Aside from the company it provides him, the crow proves useful for scoping out and keeping an eye on battlegrounds with too little cover for Janus’s liking. Name: Verdugo Played by: RedOptics Appearance: Position: Risen Element: Plague/Death whatever you really wanna call it. Personality: Sinister and Sadistic~ Normally as so. Verdugo is a dragon who isn't afraid to crack a joke about death or hissing out how he plans to kill someone. He's deemed crazy, but that's not the case as it's simply his train of thought tilting into his element more. Calm and Collected~ This dragon may be considered insane, but being that he's calm in most situations and carries a cool smile that most simply want to slap off his face that theory was brushed off. He won't snap under pressure, and hasn't been known to. Cautious and Slightly Timid~ Even though he does show care towards those he has good relationships with, he can do much due to his current state. His form, though somewhat young, is very brittle and in some cases poisonous to the touch. So Verdugo is very cautious when it comes to helping fellow dragons. Sneaky~ Though kind in most cases, he won't hesitate to later sneak up and steal or spook someone for his own humour as he loves pranking. History: When he was a hatchling, he was this beautiful golden dragon who loved adventure. But in the wastelands, he had travelled too far and found his way to the wyrmwound. Straying too close, he had fallen in and immediately started decaying. His mother, Empress, and his father, Oro, couldn't do anything to save him. But Abyss, a Guardian who mastered only a few necromancy spells was able to keep the disease from eating alive any further. And as long as he wears a special gem hidden under his armour, he's sure to keep from dying until his preannounced time. Strengths: Pain does not slow him down, and he's rather intimidating for his size/appearance. The 'eyes' that infect his form are poisonous if touched by another dragon, but can only be so if the fluid is somehow consumed through either blood or licking it off. Weaknesses/Fears: His wings are a vital source of his life, so if they are completely severed he will lose the link to his gem. Another weakness is speed, something his damaged muscles can't produce. And his fear is death itself, even if he hates constantly being on the brink of it, death is something he's wanted, but also feared his entire life. Other: Verdugo had recently left his lair family to travel and to hopefully find a cure for his condition. Though highly unlikely that he may find it, he knows that he'll meet both hostiles and friendlies along the way. Name: Rose Played by: Sanzuwu Appearance: Position: A First by by birth, however, she is torn between her loyalty to the Shadowbinder and her adoptive flight, Shadow. Element: Light Personality: Polite: When you first meet Rose, she is as sweet and as well-spoken as can be. She doesn't outwardly show judgement and she isn't cruel for the sake of being cruel. However, she is incredibly measured which can cause her politeness to seem forced. Sarcastic: This is Rose's immediate response to those she doesn't like, people she has just met and those who make the mistake of treating her wrongly. These infractions include but are not limited to: underestimating her, looking down on her in any way, disagreeing with her and proving her wrong. This, paired with her polite tone can come off as extremely patronising, she hopes it does too. Her sarcasm is usually a defence mechanism, but can also be her means of humour. Narcissistic: Rose likes to think that she's better than everyone else in her field of talents; she also likes to think that she doesn't feel this way. There's a noticeable difference between the way she acts with her friends and others, treating them slightly more like equals. Unemotional: Being able to read people like books has its downsides, such as subconsciously believing that others can read you all the same. This causes her to repress her feelings, no shows of affection, no confiding, no nothing. She's above emotions anyway, or so she believes. History: Born on the border between Light and Shadow, her first sight was that of the Shadow domain. She was immediately enthralled by the dark forest, wanting to discover all of its secrets. She wandered, as a hatchling, and eventually she had reached the Forum of the Obscured Crescent. Peering into the murky depths of the pool, she discovered that she could see shapes dancing across the oily surface. Wanting to find out more from the pool, she decided that she would make her home here. She remained until reaching adulthood, believing that this place was indeed her Charge, however, it was not to be. With the war, the Forum was defiled, forcing her to leave. She had not felt the remorse she expected after leaving, sure she was sad for her home, but surely she would feel more for the destruction of her Charge. When she first arrived at the Forum, she vaguely remembers another dragon there, she believes that this was the Shadowmother, no matter how unlikely it was. Strengths: Rose is an extremely talented mage. Defending herself from adolescence has made her an expert at offensive magic. She's less likely to use other branches of magic, clairvoyancy making an oft appearance and assist magic not used at all. The fact that she uses Light magic isn't usually of concern for her. Rose can also read others like books; she doesn't empathise with them, more like checking their emotions and body language. Weaknesses/Fears: She relies too heavily on fate, which is enough to make her not make her own decisions. She's also inclined to believe that people can't change without influence, that they can't change simply by themselves. Her fear is linked to her weakness, she does not make her own decisions because she is frightened of making the wrong ones, things that would make her irredeemable in front of her friends. She also thinks that emotions are weak, both showing them and having them. While that fact isn't really a weakness, it does cause her to repress all emotion. It's probably going to reach boiling point soon, she's been having to repress a lot with the war. Other: Rose has not found her charge, she believes that such emotion for a single thing would come back to bite her. She's got some herbs with her, it's mostly for making teas and tonics though. She has dabbled in necromancy, her familiar, affectionately dubbed Casey, is the only being she has successfully brought back; Casey doesn't usually show itself until summoned. Name: Perren Played by: Pandacow Appearance: Position: Risen Element: Shadow Personality: Fighter Perren loves to fight, and her favorite method of fighting is ambushing. This is one of her best abilities, and sometimes she may even kill with this method. She likes to kill painlessly, as she has been dying with pain before, and she does not want anyone to experience that pain, even her enemies. Aloof However, she does have a sweet side, but this never appears unless you are very close to her, which has never happened since she was an adult. She is usually aloof, and brutally honest. When she sees someone becoming close to her, she may push away, becoming aggressive. She prefers to do action rather than talk. Intelligent Before the War, Perren was almost always found clutching a book. She loves to read and get her claws on new information. Because of that, she is very intelligent. She has read a lot on dragon psychology, and so knows a lot about manipulation, among other things. History: She was found as a hatchling by the Golden Shadows Clan, before the War. This was her happiest times, as she had playmates and an unlimited supply of books. This did not last long, unfortunately, as the clan split up when the Eleven seemed to abandon dragonkind. She was lost in the confusion, and ended up companionless. Eventually, some Light dragons found her, and they almost killed her, and then left her to die. She somehow recovered, though, and now fights for the Risen, convinced from the attack that there is no way out of the war, despite her hopes. But she still looks up to the Eleven sometimes. Strengths: Manipulation Being a Shadow dragon, along with knowing a lot about psychology, she knows a lot about how to manipulate. She is a master manipulator, knowing how to carefully convince a dragon to do what she wants, without detection. But, she will not do this with trusted friends, but any other dragon can be manipulated by her. Fighting Perren is a warrior, so she knows how to fight well. Ambushing is the technique she prefers, and is the best at, and she knows the best way to end an opponent's life quickly, and quietly, if needed. She is agile and sneaky, making it even easier to ambush an opponent for her. Weaknesses/Fears: Kindness Perren, due to her history, does not like to see any dragon in pain, even if it's an opponent. She will do her best to heal them, or if needed, do a mercy kill. This can lead to other dragons hurting her once they are healed, but Perren can't help it. She hates to see a dragon in pain. Size/Weight Perren can easily be taken out by a bigger dragon, but she can dodge easily. But if a dragon has their mind to it, Perren can be squashed by a bigger dragon quickly. Overthinking Things Perren can often overthink things. For example, if she is injured and alone, even if it's a minor injury, she can panic, often making the situation worse. She can calm herself down sometimes, but sometimes she overthinks so much that she panics so much that only another dragon can calm her down, and sometimes, she can panic so much that nothing will calm her down, and the only option is to knock her out and take her somewhere safe. Doesn't trust anyone Perren doesn't trust anyone, after being manipulated. Nobody knows how or who she was manipulated by, but it was probably somebody trusted, because when Perren is realizing she is making friends with someone, she will often shout something around the lines of "No! You're g-going to m-manipulate me! You're secretly using me!" Really, the only thing she trusts is her skills and her familiar, Koi. Other: -Perren's familiar is a Painted Protobeast, and it is not very useful in battle. But, it can be useful in other ways, like being the only thing that can calm her down sometimes. -Perren will react differently when she's making friends depending on the personality of the dragon that she knows of, and her gut feeling. Like if it's a more manipulative dragon, she will react aggressively, and a more kind dragon she will reveal some of her history of manipulation. -She has no clan or company except Koi. Name: Ember. You can call her whatever you want tho. Played by: KatLover4ever Appearance: Her wings are deformed and rest at an odd angle. Tiger/Butterfly/Glimmer Position: A First. Element: Shadow. Personality: -Quiet: She is very introverted and prefers to keep to herself unless speaking to her mate, those she considers friends or giving an opinion on an important matter. She isn't much for small talk unless you can find a topic that interests her. She will often speak with small words and openly avoid long conversations. -Sassy: If you order her to do something without asking nicely or offering to give her something in return be prepared for some cruel words to be shot at you. Or maybe some sarcasm.. -Gentle: If someone is wounded she'll be by their side immediately and shush them with kind words and a sweet tone. She'd never hurt something that is already injured or unable to completely fend for itself due to her past experiences. -Stubborn: If she feels a certain way about something that can't be proven wrong or right with facts then she'll stick to her opinion despite any cruel words or harsh treatments. -Loyal: Just like her opinions and beliefs she'd never abandon those who she holds close to her heart. History: Ember was found as a hatchling by Nightshade, a guardian hatchling. After noticing her deformity he decided to dedicate his life to protecting her as she was incapable of defending herself. Years later they formed a clan to which many dragons joined, life was good. -Character and Ping List Continued-

-Character List-

Name: Janus
Played by: Eumilax

24392531_350.png

Janus is fairly small for a Nocturne. While he’s not the smallest dragon the world has ever seen, he’s a good handful of points below the average length and weight for his breed.
Position: Neutral, Thief
Element: Lightning
Personality:
Self-Serving While Janus isn’t an entirely uncaring dragon, he will nearly always put his own needs before anyone else’s.

It’s not unheard of for dragons that discover his talents to threaten or bribe him into doing work for them…

Strengths:
Quick and Stealthy Thanks to his naturally small frame, Janus has an easier time slipping through the cracks than many other unfortunate dragon’s he may or may not have left behind in the past.
Weaknesses/Fears:
Scrawny Janus can’t put up much of a fight on his own, as he’s learned the hard way from some of his less successful attempts at pickpocketing (and some more embarrassing experiences as a child).
Other:
Familiar Janus’s most trusted ally is a crow that he befriended in the shadowy woods. While his familiar is not constantly with him, the bird will always return to him when he calls, and always seems to have one eye on him as he does his own bird thing. Aside from the company it provides him, the crow proves useful for scoping out and keeping an eye on battlegrounds with too little cover for Janus’s liking.

Name: Verdugo
Played by: RedOptics
Appearance:

21210125_350.png

Position: Risen
Element: Plague/Death whatever you really wanna call it.
Personality:
Sinister and Sadistic~
Normally as so. Verdugo is a dragon who isn't afraid to crack a joke about death or hissing out how he plans to kill someone. He's deemed crazy, but that's not the case as it's simply his train of thought tilting into his element more.

Calm and Collected~
This dragon may be considered insane, but being that he's calm in most situations and carries a cool smile that most simply want to slap off his face that theory was brushed off. He won't snap under pressure, and hasn't been known to.

Cautious and Slightly Timid~
Even though he does show care towards those he has good relationships with, he can do much due to his current state. His form, though somewhat young, is very brittle and in some cases poisonous to the touch. So Verdugo is very cautious when it comes to helping fellow dragons.

Sneaky~
Though kind in most cases, he won't hesitate to later sneak up and steal or spook someone for his own humour as he loves pranking.

Name: Rose
Played by: Sanzuwu
Appearance:

22809371_350.png

Position: A First by by birth, however, she is torn between her loyalty to the Shadowbinder and her adoptive flight, Shadow.
Element: Light
Personality:
Polite: When you first meet Rose, she is as sweet and as well-spoken as can be.

Name: Perren
Played by: Pandacow
Appearance:

24703689_350.png

Position: Risen
Element: Shadow
Personality:
Fighter
Perren loves to fight, and her favorite method of fighting is ambushing. This is one of her best abilities, and sometimes she may even kill with this method. She likes to kill painlessly, as she has been dying with pain before, and she does not want anyone to experience that pain, even her enemies.

Aloof
However, she does have a sweet side, but this never appears unless you are very close to her, which has never happened since she was an adult. She is usually aloof, and brutally honest. When she sees someone becoming close to her, she may push away, becoming aggressive. She prefers to do action rather than talk.

Intelligent
Before the War, Perren was almost always found clutching a book.

Strengths:
Manipulation
Being a Shadow dragon, along with knowing a lot about psychology, she knows a lot about how to manipulate. She is a master manipulator, knowing how to carefully convince a dragon to do what she wants, without detection. But, she will not do this with trusted friends, but any other dragon can be manipulated by her.

Fighting
Perren is a warrior, so she knows how to fight well. Ambushing is the technique she prefers, and is the best at, and she knows the best way to end an opponent's life quickly, and quietly, if needed. She is agile and sneaky, making it even easier to ambush an opponent for her.
Weaknesses/Fears:
Kindness
Perren, due to her history, does not like to see any dragon in pain, even if it's an opponent. She will do her best to heal them, or if needed, do a mercy kill. This can lead to other dragons hurting her once they are healed, but Perren can't help it. She hates to see a dragon in pain.

Size/Weight
Perren can easily be taken out by a bigger dragon, but she can dodge easily. But if a dragon has their mind to it, Perren can be squashed by a bigger dragon quickly.

Overthinking Things
Perren can often overthink things.

Doesn't trust anyone
Perren doesn't trust anyone, after being manipulated.

Other:
-Perren's familiar is a Painted Protobeast, and it is not very useful in battle.

Played by: KatLover4ever
Appearance:

7881662_350.png

Her wings are deformed and rest at an odd angle.
Tiger/Butterfly/Glimmer
Position: A First.
Element: Shadow.

Personality:
-Quiet:
She is very introverted and prefers to keep to herself unless speaking to her mate, those she considers friends or giving an opinion on an important matter. She isn't much for small talk unless you can find a topic that interests her. She will often speak with small words and openly avoid long conversations.

-Sassy:
If you order her to do something without asking nicely or offering to give her something in return be prepared for some cruel words to be shot at you. Or maybe some sarcasm..

-Gentle:
If someone is wounded she'll be by their side immediately and shush them with kind words and a sweet tone. She'd never hurt something that is already injured or unable to completely fend for itself due to her past experiences.

-Stubborn:
If she feels a certain way about something that can't be proven wrong or right with facts then she'll stick to her opinion despite any cruel words or harsh treatments.

-Loyal:
Just like her opinions and beliefs she'd never abandon those who she holds close to her heart.

History:
Ember was found as a hatchling by Nightshade, a guardian hatchling. After noticing her deformity he decided to dedicate his life to protecting her as she was incapable of defending herself. Years later they formed a clan to which many dragons joined, life was good.

Then the incident happened, the dragons who she had known to be friends and cared for immensely turned on each other. War broke loose within the clan... because a new lack of trust had formed when neighboring clans began to slaughter each other for their 'impurity'. Ember was torn, she didn't know what to do. She started to panic and wailed in distress, she felt helpless to what was going on around her.

Seeing his mate in such a state made Nightshade furious. He let out a ground shaking roar, easily getting the full attention of his clan. "I will not stand for this, no matter what insecurities you may have you must never turn on each other." A growl rumbled in his throat, "Those who disagree, get out of my sight." No-one moved. Nightshade huffed in annoyance before asking the clans' healers to help dress the injured dragons' wounds.

A few days into recovery, Ember and Nightshade along with two others where a part of a huge phenomenon. They had gotten a call 'home' and felt a strange pull towards eachother and into many different directions. Deciding to follow the pull, Ember along with two other dragons from the clan left to journey towards the strongest pull. The closest one...

Strengths:
Ember can speak Coatl so she understand what you're saying no matter what breed you are.
She can easily understand and decipher the emotions other dragons are feeling and is a great swimmer and can go without breathing for long periods of time due to her endless bordom as a hatchling.

Weaknesses/Fears: She is weak against light dragons and has a hard time coping with direct sunlight. She is also unable to fly due to a broken wing, this can easily cause her to panic in situations which require her to flee. She is scared of plague dragons due to their bright red eyes, their smell(decay/death) and usually twisted sense of humor.

Other:
-Her mate, Nightshade, got the call as well but decided to not come with due to his duties as a leader.
-She loves her familiar as much as her mate.
-Her familiar is a Tar-Trooper Slarg.
-A Shadow dragon at heart.

Name: Fuyuko. Often called Fuyu by Ember.
Played by: KatLover4ever
Appearance:

16262027_350.png

She is always seen carrying a black katana.
Skydancer/Crystal/Toxin/Spines
Position: A first who came with as a personal guard assigned to Ember and Amaya.
Element: Fire. Partially loyal to Ice & Shadow.

Personality:
-Serious:
Fuyuko is a no nonsense dragon and is not one to understand sarcasm or humor. She would never go back on a promise, taking all orders to heart and always trying to follow them to a T.

-Loyal:
Fuyuko is the kind of dragon that would die for you if you are considered an Alpha in her mind or even just a friend. Always putting herself in danger for the sake of the dragons she vowed to protect. Beware though, she can easily turn her back on someone if they betray her.

-Patient:
Unlike the typical fire dragon, Fuyuko has a crazy amount of patience and won't usually get mad if you do something that would normally **** a dragon off.

-Cold/Stonefaced:
The only pain she feels is from battle, not from dragons who speak badly of her. She doesn't usually show any emotions other than rage and contentment.

History: Fuyuko was found as an egg by a Coatl female who happened to be traveling through the Ashfall Waste at the time. She had been drawn to the Ashfall waste as it was her nature when ready to breed.
Her mothering instincts took over when she found the poor fire egg and so she brought the abandoned egg to the Southern ice field where she was currently living. She kept the egg warm and refused to leave its' side when told to until the fire egg finally hatched. A hatchling girl popped out and looked at the female Coatl with big, curious eyes.
After years of training within swordsmanship Fuyukos' mother decided that she was skilled enough to fend for herself and let her travel alone. This is when she happened upon Nightshade & Embers' territory and decided to join their clan along with her adoptive mother, Umbra.

Strengths:
Fuyuko is an amazing swordsman due to her fast reflexes and almost god-like sword. Her sword naturally coats itself with the venom of a viper.

Weaknesses/Fears:
Fuyuko is weak against water magic and is unable to fight in air. She's also at a huge disadvantage if her sword is lost in battle as it is what she mainly uses while fighting. She is immensely scared of volcanoes which is ironic as she is a fire dragon.
Other:
-Fuyuko is an ice dragon at heart, having grown up in the southern ice fields before stumbling upon Nightshade and Embers territory.
-Fuyuko can withstand both extreme heat and extreme cold due to the fact that she's a fire dragon and is used to freezing cold temperatures.

@Rinjichan13 @Ragnaroc @Moonpelt @CreatureHollow @Nick462 @Crestagamer @Eumilax ((Woo I'm excited to start! Sorry it's so long haha, I'll be introing Kai next time ^^)) He remembered that the day had been a warm one. Not too hot, not too cold. It seemed like it would have been a very ordinary, very calm day. Despite being broken and crumbling from age, old white pillars rose up from the ground and stood out against the brilliance of the sky overhead, ironically casting long shadows on the clans and dragons who all lived out their lives in the Sunbeam Ruins. More specifically, the Mirrorlight Promenade. He walked with an odd stride, his right for-leg a little off rhythm, a bit too tense, his claws bending and turning inward as though trying to clutch something that wasn't there. His red rogue attire glowed softly, often appearing pink in the light trailing out from a mystical pink comet that followed him everywhere he traveled. The Mirror watched as a group of hatchlings, bubbly with laughter and skipping around with a lively energy, bounded by. A smile touched his lips, and pausing for but a moment he turned and said- "Hello little fellows. Remember to play safely!" Though he was too soft spoken to be heard from any of them. They seemed fine, so shrugging, he returned to where he had been headed, shaking his head softly as he thought about the nature of the hatchlings. So carefree, their very lucky to have it so nice. He arrived to a wide building, admittedly not tall yet appearing large against the many smaller buildings around it. It was a dirty white, with large pillars long collapsed into right side of the building, a Light aligned elemental flag attached and billowing out proudly in the cool breeze. He took a step inside. "Hello, Chime, I checked the outskirts like you wanted..." He trailed off. She wasn't there. From outside a crash- like glass shattering. The Mirror felt a thrill travel through him, and turned quickly to look to the entrance. More breaking, then shouting, muffled slightly from the building. A beam of light shot by the open door, making his shadow twist around as though in agony. Full of nervous energy, he raced outside and took in the chaotic scene playing out before his eyes. Dragons raged at one another, curses and spit and the occasional attack flying out between them, bottles passing from claws and slabs of white concrete being tossed from roofs. It was utter mayhem. "H-Hey! STOP THIS!" He roared. Dragons all around ignored him, continuing to fight and scratch and claw up their home and each other. "I said stop! This will not happen in Chime's clan!" He spat, enraged and frightened at the same time. Finally, a few dragons turned to him. Some recognized him, although barely. They seemed to squint at him, trying to peer deep into the hood that obscured his face. Suddenly, all hell broke lose- again. "Hey! Here's another one of 'em!" A dragon cried, claw tip pointed accusingly at the Mirror. "W-what?" The Mirror quivered, his fierceness replaced by a deep fear that somehow, he was in great danger. His horrors were confirmed as more dragons turned to peer spitefully at him. Only then, with every pair of eyes glued fast to him, did he notice. They were all yellow. And they were all swimming with hate. In one fast movement, all the scaly bodies were tearing ground toward him, mouths open; throats glowing a near blinding golden hue. Every dragon rushed at him and he barely had the time to step back when- "ENOUGH!" A roar so loud it shook every tile on the ground. The sudden silence was stunning, and for a moment the Mirror stood shell-shocked, tense and poised with his wings held out defensively at his sides. A huge shadow of a beast towered over him. Instant relief swept through him. A large head, a Guardian's, trailed over on a long neck and looked down at him. "Are you okay Ozzy?" She spoke softly, seemingly startled herself. Ozmith nodded shakily. She nodded solemnly, her golden eyes washing all anxiety from him. "I need you to leave then; just for a day or so. And- ah ah ah!" She said, seeing him about to interrupt her. The riled crowd seemed to be stirring from their shock. "This is a problem I must handle alone. It's not safe for you here anymore. You're a smart dragon, Ozmith, I'm sure you'll figure out why soon enough. Now leave." Before he could argue, her large tail swept him back inside the building, nearly knocking his feet out from under him. The heavy door swung shut with a bang, and quickly enough the outside insanity resumed. He trotted back to the door, then paused. With great reluctance he turned back around and walked away, carefully slipping out the back and making his was through his clan, a million questions plaguing his mind. But more than that, a burning concern for his Leader, whom he was greatly loyal to. "...she'll be fine." He told himself, then headed off for a familiar home one last time before making his departure. - - - - - The sky was a veil, star shaped holes shining through. Ozmith traveled through grass and dirt, his clan looming behind him as he walked. Something small and white zipped about on his back- a small Nocturne, just barely large enough for him to hold in the palm of his hand. With him he lugged a large, heavy telescope, the claws of his right hand folding around it's curves and gripping tight. "We're almost there, little O." He said, grunting as he hefted the tool with him. "We're almost there." She repeated exactly as he had said, his voice included. Omen, Little O, paused her scurrying to tilt her head in a very bird-like manner, her ice blue eyes peering up at the stars above them. "Indeed we are." Ozmith spoke, finally stopping and placing his telescope on a soft spot of grass. He turned back to look at his clan, a sorrow expression making his features heavy. "Indeed-Indeed" She chirped back in his voice. Setting up his equipment, Ozmith tried to clear his mind from what had happened earlier that day, and about what Chime had warned him off before shoving him away from danger. "Pack it all up! We gotta go!" Omen suddenly cried out in Oz's voice. He ignored it, bringing his face close to the nozzle of the telescope and peering up at the beautiful stars above. "Give me something, anything, some sort of read..." He prayed, turning the 'scope around to different parts of the night sky. A sudden ringing filled his ears, buzzing in each ear and clouding his mind from coherent thoughts. He immediately bolted uprights, eyes slipping back in his head, his jaw slack and open. A million- no, a billion images and scents and sounds crashed down on him all at once. "Gotta go, gotta go!" Omen cried again, hopping around crazily. Sounds of intense, pain filled cries. The sounds of roaring that could block the sounds of a deafening waterfall. "We gotta go!" Omen screeched. The sights of red-red everything. Red on dragons, red staining the grass, red filling every corner of the sky. "We gotta go!" The smells of rotten smoke, smoke from raging fires. The smells of things decaying, of flesh melting from bone. "We gotta go!" He remembered that the day had been a warm one.
"Hello, Chime, I checked the outskirts like you wanted..."
He trailed off.
Every dragon rushed at him and he barely had the time to step back when-
"ENOUGH!"
A roar so loud it shook every tile on the ground.

He was curled up in his den in the Tangled Wood with his clan, licking his wounds and nursing a hatred in his heart. His ears perked at the sound of someone nearing, and not being in any mood for visitors he let out a low warning growl. "Check your tone with me, Smaug. I am not one to be so easily pushed about." A deep voice rumbled before a head poked into the den. It was Thangor, the Clan's leader. "I only came to see how you've been recovering and if you've taken my offer into consideration. We could use someone of your prowess on this plan." Smaug huffed and curled up once more, "I have no interest in your war. Though it was advantageous to strike while the Light clan was distracted you still took the lives of innocents... I'm happy that my loss was such a great distraction for you, Sir." He added with a sharp bite of anger in his tone. It had been because Rivera's father had attacked them that his clan had acted. While he fought to save his family, Thangor lead fighters of his clan and a few neighboring shadow clans into the Sunbeam Ruins and slaughtered those they could find of the Light clans. Something Smaug didn't agree with. It was one thing to fall in battle against a great adversary, but to slaughter brooding mothers and nests and elder dragons that could barely lift their heads always made his stomach churn. "Just think Smaug, it could have been them attacking us. We need to take this chance and claim the Sunbeam Ruins for the Shadow flight. We are the superior dragons! If we had ruled over the lands, your mate and eggs would still be alive because they'd be protected." Thangor moved closer then, a glint in his eye as he looked at the wounded warrior. "Do you not wish to make those that hurt Rivera feel the same pain? Don't you wish to pain the grass red with their blood? Fight with us and help us conquer the lands in the name of Shadow. The Eleven are gone, it is up to us, the strong, to take over. You are strong Smaug, do not let an injustice put you down." Thangor knew then that he hooked the young dragon. He saw the fires burning in Smaug's eyes. Smaug lifted his head to look at his leader, the quick beating of his heart rang in his ears as he thought of bringing retribution to the rest of Rivera's clan. Oh how they were going to pay. And he wouldn't stop there... He would fight with tooth and claw to claim all the realms for Shadow, so that every nest would be safe. Rising to his feet he let loose a bone shaking war cry, and then he looked to Thangor. "When do we leave? I thirst for blood." Rivera gathered her hatchlings close every time they began crawling too close to the edge of the nest, as if once they reached the edge she'd lose them. Her heart was wounded still even though her physical ailments were healed. Her young were getting stronger every passing day, healthier than when they hatched and her fear had clutched her heart. She thought for certain that they would die from how small and frail they were.. But Farore was an adept healer and the female Wildclaw kept her babies alive, as she promised. Rivera would always be in her dept. Her thoughts were brought back to the present when Garnet let out a little wail. Looking down, Rivera couldn't help but purr as she saw Sapphire trying to wrestle with her smaller brother. Gently nudging with her snout, Rivera parted the two before giving them their baths for the night. "Rest sweet my little ones. Soon we will find the right path that will lead us to your father. And once we find him we'll be a happy family together, and no one will ever hurt us again." And she truly wished with all her might that it was true. Every night Rivera looked to the stars and prayed to Lightweaver and Tidelord... She prayed for safe passage, for the health of her young, and the safety of her mate. The First, Sapphira, had told her that even though the Eleven were busy, they could still hear them. So she prayed. The next morning, Rivera left her sleeping young to find food for them. They were traveling through the Sunbeam Ruins but staying relatively close to the Sea of a Thousand Currents. So every meal she would dive into the waters and find fish and other goodies for herself and her young. After a filling breakfast she gathered Sapphire and Garnet onto her back and used her wings as a guard to keep them from tumbling over her sides. She made her way through the forest, being wary of every sound and shadow she sensed...

The Risen looked out at it's sparkling blue water, and he perked his ears towards its calming noises against the death and despair that lay behind him. The deemed undead dragon pushed forward, stepping down onto the lower levels above the trench that-if he fell in-could mean his demise. Verdugo sniffed the air, snorting it out again upon registering the mere amount of salt that hung heavier as he got lower. Using the strands of disease that plunged themselves down into the depths of the ocean to climb down to get himself a meal, the dragon wasn't worried about them snapping as he did this many times before. The sun beamed down on his rotten surface flesh, causing it to practically cook in the sun and physically hear it sizzle. Reaching his grotesque head down towards the sparkling blue, Verdugo watched with sharp eyes for glimmering fish near the surface, balancing himself on his hind legs and stepping on the edge with his front talons, he prepared his neck to spring out into the water. Growling softly, he spotted the scales of a fish, he didn't care what kind, and snapped his powerful jaws around the squirming life-form. Fixing the crown atop his head and turning back to sit down, the dragon curled his tail around his back talons and dug into his small meal for such a big dragon. Verdugo could go days without eating due to half of his digestive system being damaged and the struggle of swallowing always present. The slat water dripped off his red mane, surprisingly clean in his condition as of late. After the problems of his esophagus passed, the Imperial had finally finished his meal and stood, shaking his body from side to side to rid the oceanic dust from his dead scales. The eyes that were strangely not attached to his brain that were scattered across his body looked around the area, soon resting to a stop after the quick motion.
