Alcides was as mad as he was devastated. Only a few days before he'd given birth to what he thought was a healthy litter of four...that was, until one of his still-unnamed female pups died a few hours after her birth. To make matters worse, the youngest of the litter and her son, Zhan, had been found dead a few feet away from the nursery where they were hidden. There was a traitor in their midst, Alcides knew, a traitor who was no doubt working for the Hellhounds.

He desperately hoped that the dragons he'd sent for would help. They were also a relatively small Clan, like the Rising Sun Clan, and he hoped they'd be able to help fend off any more attacks by padding their numbers, and making it seem like they were more numerous than they really were. It all felt so tiring and so useless to Alcides. The reason they had moved to the Plague lands, after all, was because of the Hellhounds. They had hoped it would be somewhere they wouldn't follow.

Unfortunately, they were wrong.

They seemed as if they need help, after offering a treaty to them for being allies. When Alamir came over to them with the message, Dayie was truly intrigued by this. Hellhounds? What are they? Are they Shade related or are they another clan that rivals them? Either way, Dayie chose to travel with the council to this clan. Of course, if these were hellhounds, Dayie decided to bring Cannibal. Of course, this Wildclaw is very hostile. However, with Grant and Thanos with them they'll be able to somewhat handle him. Tyve decided to stay behind and watch the throne while they venture off to this land. Cannibal flashed his showing teeth in aggravation as he growled at Dayie, who ignored it. "Hungry, kill wanna I'm!" Came his incoherent speaking. It seems no one ever taught him the proper way to speak. Even though it was hard to understand, years with him, you can understand him. "Not to worry, Cannibal, we're almost there." Came Dravite's comment as he stood behind eh Wildclaw, all while holding his cleaver. They knew that, never let him have his cleaver. The only time he can would be in battle of when Tyve is around. It seems she's the only one who properly knows how to subdue him.

Caladorn was the first one to see them, coming up over the horizon to the territory. Their camp lay in a dip in the Earth, around a towering mansion, cracked and weathered with age. They defended it fiercely, and so it did not take long for Caladorn's hackles to raise with caution, tail lashing from side to side. Serhild, one of the other Guards and a good friend of Caladorn's, lifted zir head from where zie had been taking zir nap.

"What's the problem, Cala?" Zie asked with a yawn.

"Intruders, coming this way," Caladorn replied with a growl. "Get up, Serhild. We need to be ready."
