@ratly @nwolfdragon (here's the thread for the rp) (( I hope this is a good start ^^ If I did anything wrong just tell me and I'll make sure to fix it :D )) The Pearlcatcher stood by a simple, wooden cart, leaning against it as she casually flipped through an odd deck of cards. Halfway through the deck she paused when she reached the one she had been looking for. On it was a picture of a dragon, and under it the name Glory. She cast a glance back to the cart, where the dragon featured on her card lay, sedated and bound up. Her card, which she had made herself, held precious little information, and she would have waited until she had more to kidnap the prince had not her partner been so impatient. Hearing the swoosh of air nearby, she glanced up to see an approaching Spiral. "There you are." Sinner said, watching as the long dragon landed on the Plague infested grounds, seemingly bouncing a bit before settling. She chuckled and looked up at the Pearlcatcher with a toothy grin. The Spiral, often going by the title of Kira, raised a claw and was about to speak before being interrupted. "What took so long...?" The Pearlcatcher's voice was dragged out, flat and dry, opposite that of her friend's, which was more often than not overly expressive. "Well, it may not have taken so long had you just taken out those guards the right way!" She shot back, but a smile crept back up onto her face. "They were crafty, took a bit to get 'em off my tail!" She gave a little jolt forward, as though she was still leading their pursuers away. As the slightly crazed Spiral moved forward with her little bounds and leaps, Sinner placed her talons on the cart and started to push it forward along the narrow pathway they had found. "Hmm...well...good job, I guess..." Casting one last, cautious glance behind her, she kept moving on, wheeling their captive over the invisible boundary between the Tangled Wood and the Scarred Wasteland. As they moved, Sinner listened as her partner went over in painstaking detail how she had managed to outmaneuver the three guards that had tracked them all the way out to where they were. However her mind was elsewhere, overlooking the details of their plan in case they had messed up, or if anything needed revising. It wasn't the first time she's done this, but it didn't make a difference to her. Had they looked over something? As the land around them shifted from shadowy fog to red, boiled ground spitting ooze, shapes started to flit around just out of sight, and the odd, faint sounds made her glance around. Paranoia filled her thoughts again. Had the guards returned? "Hey, Kira, do you see that?" Sinner whispered. She stopped pushing the cart and swept her gaze all around her. "Hmm, see what?" Looking back to her friend, she saw her clutching to the sides of the cart, reaching for the glimmering yellow-orange jewels on the Wildclaw's tail and wings. Hissing, Sinner whacked her paws away. "Knock it off Kira! You need to be serious about this." Sliding down from the cart, the Spiral raised her claws in mock surrender. "Alright, alright!" Huffing, she muttered, "I can be serious, yeesh~." Sinner looked down at the Spiral, ready to say more, when the movements returned. Going quiet, she looked around again before wheeling her cart behind a cluster of twisted, gnarled trees. "Why aren't we moving?" Kira questioned. Ignoring her, Sinner moved closer to the plants and peered out between the gaps, her eyes narrowed with focus and her pupils flitting to and fro. Her suspicions were right, something was moving out there. "Kira, fly up and do a quick scan of the area and lure away anything that may be following us." She ordered. Kira nodded, gave a salute, then took off, leaving the Pearlcatcher guarding over their captive with a paranoid eye. "Please be nothing...don't get caught Kira..." She muttered, her claws digging into her palms as she waited.

His guards were freaking out about..something. He was shouting that they should've taken the other way like he said they should in the first place. Then there was a pinch or whatever, then...darkness. He would've said to the guards, 'I told you so'. But...alas, he couldn't. It was a slow awakening, the prince being very disorientated. The floor felt weird...no soft carpet or anything...that was the first sign he had that he wasn't in his carriage anymore. A grunt came from him as he rolled over, trying to get up only to feel that his legs, arms...and apparently also his wings were bound. Who would want to capture him? The thought went through his head as he tried to think through the fog. Where was he anyways? He heard voices, so he tried to focus onto them. His bright golden eyes squinted at the exchange between the two females... "...Where are we...?" he grumbled out groggily, though before his question was answered..a small wafted into his nose. They were in the Scarred Wastelands. "You...You did not just...take me to Plague's territory." he let out a scared gasp before yelling out. "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU HAVE DONE?!"

OOC// I hope these guys will do. They are siblings, and act as guardians for their clan. Azazel is the mate to the clan matriarch, and often acts as ambassador. His sister is just a warrior. I hope this is a good enough post for you guys! @Ratly @Chibikittens Eyes flew open, and the dark blue behemoth stood up, with a cursory glance around. What he saw made him grit his teeth and almost swear. The party had all been scattered, and a swift and precise knock to the back of his head had ensured he was out of commission for at least a little while. While he was a warrior, he was nothing compared to his sister. He brought a large clawed hand to scratch his head with a deep sigh, before taking a few steps around the rest of the fallen. His gold plated armour clinked softly as he took deliberate steps, still feeling slightly dizzy from the knock to the skull. His eyes turned to the sky, as deep wing flaps approached. A large grey shape grew, and a small sound of relief left Azazel unbidden. "Lilith... thank the stars..." As Lilith approached her brother, she was glad to see he was already up and walking around. She bared her teeth in a vicious snarl, their luck shall be running out soon. They had been travelling with a prince from the Viridian Labyrinth, although her brother had been more of the ambassador. She was just here to help avoid any unnecessary conflict. A lot of good that did. She landed on the ground beside her brother, with a heavy, earthshaking 'Thud!' Two of the Prince's guards landed shortly after. They were the only two that had not been caught in the crossfire. She would have given them an appreciative nod, had she not been in such a foul mood. Where her brother was just relieved to see her, she was livid. "Azazel, we need to get moving now," she demanded. Technically he was her superior, if they were following rank, but the two of them never did with one another. They had a mutual understanding of each other. "That little brat got away!" She snarled, electric blue eyes remaining on the sky, "damn spirals... so spineless." Azazel's gaze hardened, his relief already long-lived, "Not spineless, but a worthy foe." He paused, furrowing his brows as he gazed off in the direction of where his sister had just come from. It was the direction of the Scarred Wasteland. Plague dragons... "Come, let us get a move on. Apalala had entrusted this job to me, and that includes the prince's safety." With that the two guardian siblings took to the air, armour clashing harshly from the jump to the sky. They would begin their search where the three had lost this spiral, and they would find the perpetrators. Out of rage, Lilith let off a bolt of lightning, accompanied by a ferocious roar. Creatures below would think it was a storm, if not for the fact that the sky was perfectly blue and clear. Of course, now the kidnappers might be tipped off.

As Lilith approached her brother, she was glad to see he was already up and walking around. She hadn't seen what had happened, but it had to have been either someone very skilled, or very lucky.

"That little brat got away!" She snarled, electric blue eyes remaining on the sky, "damn spirals... so spineless."

Azazel's gaze hardened, his relief already long-lived, "Not spineless, but a worthy foe." He paused, furrowing his brows as he gazed off in the direction of where his sister had just come from.

After giving her sarcastic salute, Kira bounded off before bouncing up into the sky, her many wings flapping wildly as she weaved her way through the air like a water snake through a river. From her satchel, a furry head popped out, her ferret familiar appearing only to submerge when realizing that the fresh breeze of air it had been expecting was actually musty and filthy. Kira didn't seem to mind much, still feeling fresh waves of excitement at having kidnapped a prince. A prince! Imagine that. Not to mention all the gold they would get when the family came begging. Images of gold and jewels and expensive trinkets filled her eyes, it was all so enticing it made her mouth water. Kira hardly looked around her, as Sinner had instructed her to do, her buzzing mind was too preoccupied with greedy thoughts that when the odd movements started up again, she didn't notice.
A loud thunderclap burst across the sky, and Kira's heart thrummed faster with the noise. She glanced up, then down, her eyes landing on a dark shape right below her. A frown replaced her silly grin.
"What the...?"
A hot, melting pain swept across one of her wings, and with a screech she started falling. Her snake-like body twisted and turned crazily, and she struggled to right herself and spread her wings out, but her awkward body kept getting in the way of flight. In one of her many mid-air tumbles, she caught sight of the wound for a few seconds. Red boils and blisters had broken out along the leathery skin of her wing, and for some odd reason seeing it seemed only to intensify the agony it caused her.
Seconds away from impact, a clawed grip appeared on her foot, jerking her upwards before letting her fall with a harsh thump to the ground. Pained groans escaped her lips, a body-wide ache setting in. The shadowed figure from before approached her again. Immediate fear replacing pain, the jolted up onto her feet only to have them swept out from under her. The Spiral cried out for help right before being hit in the back of the head. Her head swam, her vision darkening until she fell limp.

Back behind the cluster of rotting trees, Sinner stood anxiously waiting for Kira's return, hoping for the news that she was just over-reacting, dreading to hear the news that their pursuers had caught up with them. Sinner started picking at the furs on her tail. A nervous habit she never did anything about.
Her body tensed and soft, choked sounds came from her as an odd, hazy voice drifted up into her ear. Jumping up, she shot out her wings to look larger, her head swiveling to and fro, pupils dilated and scales popping out for extra flare. But she saw no one, not a dragon to her right or her left, not even above her. Her ears caught the voice speaking again, and the dragon turned to find it coming from her cart. Sinner peered in and saw the Wildclaw more or less awake, still mostly out of it but definitely coming to.
"Hmph, stay quiet!" She growled, angry at herself for being so afraid of a drugged and bound dragon. She gave the cart a good, rough shake before returning to looking out through the cracks of the trees. A few seconds later she jolted upright and bit a lip when holding back a scared yell. The prince was definitely awake now, and shouting bloody murder right besides her. An electric roar exploded far overhead, and jumping onto her feet she ran over and clamped a paw over the loud Wildclaw's mouth.
"Shut it, will you?!" She hissed, fear trickling into her voice. Her eyes were wild.
"Any minute now someone could-" And as though it was time perfectly, something heavy clamped onto her back from out of no where. The sudden weight made her legs go out from under her. She began to thrash around before she felt the affects of a magic spell, and her body stilled. Her mind wasn't made calm, but rather it was made heavy and slow. She couldn't focus. Trying to move a leg only resulted in a pathetic twitch. Sinner fought to stay awake, but slowly her eyes closed, and in an ironic twist of fate she became the prisoner of another dragon.

( Sorry for taking control of the NPCs in this post..if you had something else planned for it! ;w; If needs to be, I can always change it!)

He had to get out of here. Withering and rocking the cart, Glory tried to get himself unbounded. Why did this have to happen to him? He was expect Shadow dragons to do this as a trick, but definitely not minor thieves who didn't know how to travel lightly. He extended his wings a bit, trying to at least get that situation out of the way if he had to quick fly out of there and then tend to the other bound parts of his body.

Though, he was cut short as the pearlcatcher slapped a claw over his mouth. Glory resisted the urge to bite her hand, a loud growl echoing from his throat. "Do... you have any-" he started out in a muffled growl, but was soon interrupted as something attacked her. The prince let out a loud, frightened grunt..trying to get out quickly. It was the Plague dragons, he swore!

His attempts, however, remained futile. The wildclaw's eyes widened as a face popped out from under the cart, four eyes staring directly at him. Glory let out an awkward laugh, thinking the pearlcatcher must be dead for this savage to turn to him... right? Nope. Great Gladekeeper. He was so dead....

'Let's try to reason.' was his wonderful thought

"I..I know this seems a bit crazy. Why would I ever in my wildest dreams be tied up...and dragged to the Scarred Wasteland." he let out an awkward laugh, "But thank you for saving me...I....I'll defiantely tell my clan back home of your heroic-."

He was cut short and knocked out again. Glory was..just having a really bad day.

Immediately after Lilith had let loose her torrent, Azazel's eyes sharpened as he spotted movement in the distance. A spiral was flailing in the air, falling, as another dragon attacked, and flew to catch the wounded dragon. He grunted at Lilith, as he attention zeroed in on the target immediately. Watching Lilith in action was like watching a hawk going after it's kill.

He turned to look at the following guards, muttering quietly, "continue on ahead, but fly around, so that they do not expect more than the two of us. Take care not to be spotted." He nodded as they departed, and turned his attention back to the two dragons in front. They were no match in regards to size, for either of them, so the blue giant spoke to his sister, not taking his eyes off the targets, "Lilith, I think it best that you deal with these two, I will go on ahead to find the Prince. As she nodded he began to split off before a thought made him turn his head,"and don't get carried away. We want them alive."

Lilith grinned her wolfish grin and began to pick up speed, barreling towards the two struggling dragons. As she closed it, she gave an earth shattering roar, swooping in to try and knock the Plague dragon with her wing. She wanted the Spiral, this scum couldn't have her prey. "Unhand her, Scum!"

As she dealt with the small scuffle, Azazel rounded a bend in the landscape to see a rickety, wooden cart being attacked. He neared, and angled himself to get a better look at what the cart had inside, and he caught the sight of black rippled skin and golden jewels. The Prince. There was a pearlcatcher on the ground beside the cart, flattened as a dragon had landed on top of her, effectively knocking her out of the fight, but the sight of her was not what made Azazel angry. A mirror was approaching the Prince, and while it was smaller than the wildclaw, Glory was bound and had no way of escape. Azazel let out a deep rumble in his chest, which could have been called a growl, and he swooped low, reaching to pluck the prince right out of the cart.

@ratly @nwolfdragon ((That's kinda what I was hoping you'd do actually XD Yeah, they're just npc's so it's fine with me :3 And I wasn't all that sure what to do w my dergs out of it at the moment so I hope this'll do 'til they wake up))

With the Pearlcatcher out of commission, the plague dragon rose up from atop her and climbed off. His four eyes swiveled around to the cart as Glory began rambling. A quick punch was all it took to end that, and the Mirror dragon placed their claws on the rickety wooden cart, crunching the weak wood between his claws, taking it and the prize it held for his clan.
Deep rumbling, like the gravelly smashing growl of an avalanche rang out from above, and the Mirror twisted their neck to spot the source. Quick on his feet, he bounded behind the cart for cover and fired off three rounds of phlegm covered masses of Plague, then sounded a shrill whistle. From nearby more plague dragons slithered out of hiding, fleshy-red eyes glowing a sick hazy light and green tinted spit streaming from bared teeth, and attacked Azazel in unison.

A roar that could shatter glass made the very air tremble around the dragon who had Kira. Their head shot up in alarm. The sight of the massive red-winged Guardian sent them stumbling back, only to get hit by her wing and tossed aside like nothing. The dragon wobbled as they pushed up from the filthy ground, whipping around and hissing madly at the intruder.
"The Spiral..." They breathed heavily. "She's mine...leave...leave..."

@nwolfdragon (( @ratly Okay :) Since I'm typing, I was thinking that we would move on to getting captured by the plague dragons so we can get to the next part, where everyone's dragons aren't out cold anymore. I'm hoping the fight scene here won't get dragged out too long, but I'm fine either way...also should we make an ooc thread where we can discuss stuff like this? Just wondering, in case we get stuck or have writers block and need to figure things out story-wise. ))
