@Draconequis just out of curiosity, is this Laurry like a clone of the other one, or just from a different period of time? and yay, seeing Xafina and Dan again! :D))
Shei
Shei raised an eyebrow and looked at Laurry with new appreciation. Poisonous? Nice. And, of course, it suited his profession even more than the shapeshifting. Lucky ringworm. His next words rang deep with her, though. Even in the darkness... we can feel emotions too. That was right, wasn't it? Kalaziel's powers had reached her and Oni through the garden walls... even when they were so miserable they were numb, her voice reminded them how to feel. She twitched a smile towards the woman behind her back, then untied Juna, Tiny and Clueless from their post.
Laurry commented on her weapon choice, making her snort at him derogatively. "Biology never stopped me before." She flipped her hair over her shoulder in a move that would have enraged the lady- she was still alive now, huh, wasn't she. funny how Shei didn't really care- and settled into Juna's saddle.
Kalaziel really did look pretty damn cool, she reflected with a sigh as the woman tilted her masked face towards her horse. She guided Juna next to Laurry's horse and waited as Oni went quiet. "... Um." He said eloquently. Rolling her eyes, she ignored Laurry's smirk and snarky comment. This was a moment that required finesse. Leaning out of the saddle, she placed her foot between Oni's shoulder blades and shoved.

Oni
Swallowing a yelp, Oni caught himself just before he stumbled into Kalaziel. "Y-yeah, okay," he said hurriedly seeing Shei lift her foot again with a threatening look. Coughing, he cupped his hands awkwardly. This was how he was supposed to do it, right?
Shei sighed dramatically behind him. What was he supposed to do? Turning to make a you're-not-helping face at her, he saw her motion to her waist and mimic lifting something. Oh. Oh.
It didn't even occur to him to argue. Living with Shei, one got used to accepting her preposterous ideas. That didn't stop his face from looking like a beetroot as he turned back to Kalaziel, who no doubt saw the whole thing. "Do you- are you okay if I-" Gods, after they made it to the forest he was climbing a tree and never coming down. Giving up on words, he shook his head and simply hoped she wouldn't feel uncomfortable as he gently placed his hands on her waist and lifted her onto the saddle.
"Sorry," he said as he let go and wrung his hands. Moving back to his own horse, he got on and tried to focus on remembering what the signals were. His ears burned hot and Shei moved into step with him, looking pleased with herself. He wasn't sure whether to thank her or complain. His hands still shook from the contact. Kalaziel was... heavier than she looked. She felt real.
