Roleplay

Tell stories and roleplay in the world of Flight Rising.
TOPIC | Ashen Faces | Roleplaying Game {OPEN}
This RP is an interactive game. Each player will receive private messages regarding their character from myself (gamemaster) to decide how this game will pan out.

Setting:
In the town of Wildedale (will-deh-dale), citizens are going missing. Each disappearance has left cryptic clues regarding the case, each more obscure and shrouded than the last. The Wildedale Sheriff's Force is determined to find the kidnapper, and will go through any means to do so. [More detail will be added when all slots are filled]

RP Rules:
No godmodding, power playing, all that stuff.
Keep it realistic, no magic/spells.
Please be an active player.
No romance (not for this one, sorry).
No controlling other people's characters or directly affecting them without the Gamemaster's involvement.
Follow the FR's general RP roles, no majorly graphic/gory scenes. A spattering of blood is alright, but no mass-murder craziness.
Be nice and civil!

Warnings: This RP contains blood, violence, and mentions of serial/criminal acts. Not suitable for easily triggered players or young children.

This is the place for the Wildedale Sherrif's Force to assemble all their information on this case.

Disappearance 1:
Victim: Benjamin Lorkane, age 8. Located at 200 Lovingston Rd. Brown hair, brown eyes, caucasian, 4'2 ft.
Statement: Benjamin Lorkane disappeared from his home at 200 Lovingston Rd on July 2nd, between the times of approximately 10:30pm - 3:00am. Mrs. Lorkane stated that Benjamin had been distraught over the divorce, and had went to bed late at 10:30pm. She had discovered he was gone when she woke up a 7am to use the bathroom, and had found his room ransacked and him missing, which was when she then called the police. She also found that Mr. Lorkane had fled the house sometime during the night too, taking several bags of his stuff. Police later tracked him down to a motel 6 miles away and apprehended him, to which he said: "I needed to get out of that damn house and away from that *****! What the hell's wrong with that?!". He is currently the prime suspect in the case.
Evidence/Materials: Benjamin's alarm clock was designed to shut off his music at 8:00am. When Mrs. Lorkane had entered his room, it was still plugged on but the music had shut off, thus revealing that the attacker had turned off the music themselves. No fingerprints were found. Mr. Fredrick Lorkane was also found carrying a stuffed animal of Benjamin's, to which he said was a memento of his son, which leads authorities to believe that he intended to flee town. No foreign materials were detected in the room or in the vicinity of the house, though paint flakes were discovered under the windowsill, meaning that the intruder had likely pried the rusty window open.
Suspects: Mr. Frederick Lorkane
