This might be just me, but i'd find it easier if the new batch was more a the top of the first page or the new batch also get's included in the ping message for the new batch. It's not important and i'm not sure how good it would be message wise but it would make it easier to find them (at least for me).

Ok so! I used Scales (underrated cool gene) to hold onto that Hot Red he has, and used Flaunt because he just has that Vibe. I then used Trail because he leaves the other races [i]trailing[/i] behind him! And also because denim trail has purple undertones that match his Flaunt! He deserves only the best.[/columns]

This guy is my favorite of the three dragons available.
This first scry has the goal to Blend the eyes in with the rest of the body, so it's not my favorite, but still pretty cool! I have peacock to create 'false eyes' on his wings. Edged creates a 'gradient effect' making the dark color blend in better. All the while, Skink makes a line of focus center on the eyes, then shifts to the rest of the body, so people can take in all his glory!
This next one,,, however.

The goal of this scry, my favorie scry, is to make his eyes the Focal point! So I used Python to create a darker color, without hiding his green-blue tone for contrast, and used Marbled to create dark areas around his head, to further the focus on his eyes. From there, Smoke was used to enhance Python's patterning and break up some monotony.
Both scries here have Bright applied, to make his eyes even more pretty,, and to truly showcase that fiery spirit!

This came down to a fight between the very first and very last scrys posted for this dragon, which was a kind of cool way to duke it out! In the end, the multigaze veil won out - it was too perfect a match between the eyes and tert color to pass up - plus I always thing thorns is a seriously under-used gene! [/columns]

The fiery gaze of this smol child was intensified by the use of toxin in that stunning color combo and really worked so well with the cooler hues of the primary. It's got great contrast in value and color, and great pattern distribution as well! The sparkles help add a touch more diversity to the color, so we get almost a full rainbow![/columns]

The dark tones of python pulled in the purples from striation so well, and I loved the smokey echos of red in the skydancer pose - HOWEVER. I also completely love the peacock scry - red and teal is an old favorite combination from like...a decade ago, and it's never really lost it's shine for me, so this vibrant color combination really struck me.
